New abelian symmetry acting on this family of local operators is found. It creates Lukyanov's operators which are not in the above family of local operators in general.

We obtain a new integral formula for solutions of the rational quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation associated with Lie algebra sl_{N} at level zero. Our formula contains the integral representation of form factors of SU(N) invariant Thirring model constructed by F. Smirnov. We write down recurrence relations arising from the construction of the form factors. We check that the recurrence relations hold for the form factors of the energy momentum tensor.

We propose explicit expressions for the form factors, including their normalization constants, of topologically charged (or soliton-creating) operators in the sine-Gordon model. The normalization constants, which constitute the main content of our proposal, allow one to find exact relations between the short- and long-distance asymptotics of the correlation functions. We make predictions concerning asymptotics of fermion correlation functions in the massive Thirring model, SU(2)-Thirring model with anisotropy, and in the half-filled Hubbard chain.
We prove an upper bound on the sum of the distances between the eigenvalues of a perturbed Schrödinger operator $H_0-V$ and the lowest eigenvalue of $H_0$. This representation can be used for the calculation of form factors and correlation functions of the XXX SU(3)-invariant Heisenberg chain.

If the norm is jointly defined on both the input and output Hilbert spaces, one defines a shrinking factor under the restriction of given map to Hermitian operators. As it is shown, for any unitarily invariant norm this shrinking factor is not larger than the maximum of two values for the spectral norm and the trace norm.

We investigate other relatively simple factor orderings and show that the {\it only} other solution for a conformally flat metric is the conformally invariant Laplace-Beltrami operator. For non-conformally-flat metrics this type of factor ordering fails, by just one term, to give the conformally invariant Laplace-Beltrami operator.

We analyze the number N of functionally independent generalized Casimir invariants for non-semisimple Lie algebras \frak{s}\overrightarrow{% oplus}_{R}\frak{r} with Levi factors isomorphic to \frak{so}(3) and \frak{sl}(2,R) in dependence of the pair (R,\frak{r}) formed by a representation R of \frak{s} and a solvable Lie algebra \frak{r}. We show that for any dimension n >= 6 there exist Lie algebras \frak{s}\overrightarrow{\oplus}_{R}\frak{r} with non-trivial Levi decomposition such that N(\frak{s}% \overrightarrow{oplus}_{R}\frak{r}) = 0.
