Specialization maps are natural maps from equivariant vanishing cycle cohomology to the equivariant cohomology of the ambient space. We study their injectivity problem for moduli stacks of representations of quivers with potentials, including those associated with generalized conifolds and finite subgroups of $SO(3,\mathbb{C})$.
