Intersection numbers of twisted homology and cohomology groups associated to the Riemann-Wirtinger integral

The Riemann-Wirtinger integral is an analogue of the hypergeometric integral, which is defined as an integral on a one-dimensional complex torus. We study the intersection forms on the twisted homology and cohomology groups associated with the Riemann-Wirtinger integral. We derive explicit formulas of some intersection numbers, and apply them to study the monodromy representation, connection problems, and contiguity relations.

Riemann-Roch inequality for smooth tropical toric surfaces

For a divisor $D$ on a tropical variety $X$, we define two amounts in order to estimate the value of $h^{0}(X,D)$, which are described by terms of global sections and computed more easily than $h^{0}(X,D)$. As an application of its estimation, we show that a Riemann-Roch inequality holds for smooth tropical toric surfaces.

Unipotent Schottky bundles on Riemann surfaces and complex tori

We study a natural map from representations of a free (resp. free abelian) group of rank g in GL_r(C), to holomorphic vector bundles of degree zero over a compact Riemann surface X of genus g (resp. complex torus X of dimension g). This map defines what is called a Schottky functor. Our main result is that this functor induces an equivalence between the category of unipotent representations of Schottky groups and the category of unipotent vector bundles on X. We also show that, over a complex torus, any vector or principal bundle with a flat holomorphic connection is Schottky.

Quaternionic holomorphic geometry: Pluecker formula, Dirac eigenvalue estimates and energy estimates of harmonic 2-tori

The paper develops the fundamentals of quaternionic holomorphic curve theory. The holomorphic functions in this theory are conformal maps from a Riemann surface into the 4-sphere, i.e., the quaternionic projective line. Basic results such as the Riemann-Roch Theorem for quaternionic holomorphic vector bundles, the Kodaira embedding and the Pluecker relations for linear systems are proven. Interpretations of these results in terms of the differential geometry of surfaces in 3- and 4-space are hinted at throughout the paper.
