Camera-controlled generative video re-rendering methods, such as ReCamMaster, have achieved remarkable progress. However, despite their success in single-view setting, these works often struggle to maintain consistency across multi-view scenarios. Ensuring spatio-temporal coherence in hallucinated regions remains challenging due to the inherent stochasticity of generative models. To address it, we introduce PlenopticDreamer, a framework that synchronizes generative hallucinations to maintain spatio-temporal memory. The core idea is to train a multi-in-single-out video-conditioned model in an autoregressive manner, aided by a camera-guided video retrieval strategy that adaptively selects salient videos from previous generations as conditional inputs. In addition, Our training incorporates progressive context-scaling to improve convergence, self-conditioning to enhance robustness against long-range visual degradation caused by error accumulation, and a long-video conditioning mechanism to support extended video generation. Extensive experiments on the Basic and Agibot benchmarks demonstrate that PlenopticDreamer achieves state-of-the-art video re-rendering, delivering superior view synchronization, high-fidelity visuals, accurate camera control, and diverse view transformations (e.g., third-person to third-person, and head-view to gripper-view in robotic manipulation). Plenoptic images and videos bearing rich information demand a tremendous amount of data storage and high transmission cost. While there has been much study on plenoptic image coding, investigations into plenoptic video coding have been very limited. We investigate the motion compensation for plenoptic video coding from a slightly different perspective by looking at the problem in the ray-space domain instead of in the conventional pixel domain. Here, we develop a novel motion compensation scheme for lenslet video under two sub-cases of ray-space motion, that is, integer ray-space motion and fr…
GANs are able to perform generation and manipulation tasks, trained on a single video. However, these single video GANs require unreasonable amount of time to train on a single video, rendering them almost impractical. In this paper we question the necessity of a GAN for generation from a single video, and introduce a non-parametric baseline for a variety of generation and manipulation tasks. We revive classical space-time patches-nearest-neighbors approaches and adapt them to a scalable unconditional generative model, without any learning. This simple baseline surprisingly outperforms single-…

This paper proposes a novel model for video generation and especially makes the attempt to deal with the problem of video generation from text descriptions, i.e., synthesizing realistic videos conditioned on given texts. Existing video generation methods cannot be easily adapted to handle this task well, due to the frame discontinuity issue and their text-free generation schemes. To address these problems, we propose a recurrent deconvolutional generative adversarial network (RD-GAN), which includes a recurrent deconvolutional network (RDN) as the generator and a 3D convolutional neural networ…
Video generation models often operate under the assumption of fixed frame rates, which leads to suboptimal performance when it comes to handling flexible frame rates (e.g., increasing the frame rate of the more dynamic portion of the video as well as handling missing video frames). To resolve the restricted nature of existing video generation models' ability to handle arbitrary timesteps, we propose continuous-time video generation by combining neural ODE (Vid-ODE) with pixel-level video processing techniques. Using ODE-ConvGRU as an encoder, a convolutional version of the recently proposed ne…
Video generation is one of the most challenging tasks in Machine Learning and Computer Vision fields of study. In this paper, we tackle the text to video generation problem, which is a conditional form of video generation. Humans can listen/read natural language sentences, and can imagine or visualize what is being described; therefore, we believe that video generation from natural language sentences will have an important impact on Artificial Intelligence. Video generation is relatively a new field of study in Computer Vision, which is far from being solved. The majority of recent works deal …

Generative Adversarial Networks have recently shown promise for video generation, building off of the success of image generation while also addressing a new challenge: time. Although time was analyzed in some early work, the literature has not adequately grown with temporal modeling developments. We study the effects of Neural Differential Equations to model the temporal dynamics of video generation. The paradigm of Neural Differential Equations presents many theoretical strengths including the first continuous representation of time within video generation. In order to address the effects of…
This paper proposes a network architecture to perform variable length semantic video generation using captions. We adopt a new perspective towards video generation where we allow the captions to be combined with the long-term and short-term dependencies between video frames and thus generate a video in an incremental manner. Our experiments demonstrate our network architecture's ability to distinguish between objects, actions and interactions in a video and combine them to generate videos for unseen captions. The network also exhibits the capability to perform spatio-temporal style transfer wh…

We propose a conditional generative adversarial network (GAN) model for zero-shot video generation. In this study, we have explored zero-shot conditional generation setting. In other words, we generate unseen videos from training samples with missing classes. The task is an extension of conditional data generation. The key idea is to learn disentangled representations in the latent space of a GAN. To realize this objective, we base our model on the motion and content decomposed GAN and conditional GAN for image generation. We build the model to find better-disentangled representations and to g…

The field of automatic video generation has received a boost thanks to the recent Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). However, most existing methods cannot control the contents of the generated video using a text caption, losing their usefulness to a large extent. This particularly affects human videos due to their great variety of actions and appearances. This paper presents Conditional Flow and Texture GAN (CFT-GAN), a GAN-based video generation method from action-appearance captions. We propose a novel way of generating video by encoding a caption (e.g., "a man in blue jeans is playing …
Predicting future frames in natural video sequences is a new challenge that is receiving increasing attention in the computer vision community. However, existing models suffer from severe loss of temporal information when the predicted sequence is long. Compared to previous methods focusing on generating more realistic contents, this paper extensively studies the importance of sequential order information for video generation. A novel Shuffling sEquence gEneration network (SEE-Net) is proposed that can learn to discriminate unnatural sequential orders by shuffling the video frames and comparin…
Given the three dimensional complexity of a video signal, training a robust and diverse GAN based video generative model is onerous due to large stochasticity involved in data space. Learning disentangled representations of the data help to improve robustness and provide control in the sampling process. For video generation, there is a recent progress in this area by considering motion and appearance as orthogonal information and designing architectures that efficiently disentangle them. These approaches rely on handcrafting architectures that impose structural priors on the generator to decom…

Videos can often be created by first outlining a global description of the scene and then adding local details. Inspired by this we propose a hierarchical model for video generation which follows a coarse to fine approach. First our model generates a low resolution video, establishing the global scene structure, that is then refined by subsequent levels in the hierarchy. We train each level in our hierarchy sequentially on partial views of the videos. This reduces the computational complexity of our generative model, which scales to high-resolution videos beyond a few frames. We validate our a…
