The flag manifold over the semifield Z

Let G be a semisimple simply connected group of simply laced type over C. We show that the flag manifold of G has a version defined over the "tropical" semifield Z on which the monoid G(Z) associated to G and the semifield Z acts.

Half circles on flag manifolds over a semifield

A flag manifold over a semifield K can be partitioned into "half i-circles" which are orbits of a K-action on that flag manifold. Here i is fixed and it corresponds to a simple reflection in the Weyl group. We prove (for certain K) a connectedness property of the flag manifold: any two points of it can be joined by a finite sequence of half i-circles for various i.

Flag manifolds over semifields

In this paper, we develop the theory of flag manifold over a semifield for any Kac-Moody root datum. We show that the flag manifold over a semifield admits a natural action of the monoid over that semifield associated with the Kac-Moody datum and admits a cellular decomposition. This extends the previous work of Lusztig, Postnikov, Rietsch and others on the totally nonnegative flag manifolds (of finite type) and the work of Lusztig, Speyer, Williams on the tropical flag manifolds (of finite type). Affine flag varieties and quantum symmetric pairs, II. Multiplication formula

We establish a multiplication formula for a tridiagonal standard basis element in the idempotented coideal subalgebras of quantum affine $\mathfrak{gl}_n$ arising from the geometry of affine partial flag varieties of type $C$. Comparison of canonical bases for Schur and universal enveloping algebras

We show that canonical bases in $\dot{U}(\mathfrak{sl}_n)$ and the Schur algebra are compatible; in fact we extend this result to $p$-canonical bases. This follows immediately from a fullness result from a functor categorifying this map. In order to prove this result, we also explain the connections between categorifications of the Schur algebra which arise from parity sheaves on partial flag varieties, singular Soergel bimodules and Khovanov and Lauda's "flag category," which are of some independent interest.

On the cohomology of line bundles over certain flag schemes II

Over a field $K$ of characteristic $p$, let $Z$ be the incidence variety in $\mathbb{P}^d \times (\mathbb{P}^d)^*$ and let $\mathcal{L}$ be the restriction to $Z$ of the line bundle $\mathcal{O}(-n-d) \boxtimes \mathcal{O}(n)$, where $n = p+f$ with $0 \leq f \leq p-2$. Quantum cohomology of the cotangent bundle of a flag variety as a Yangian Bethe algebra

We interpret the equivariant cohomology algebra H^*_{GL_n\times\C^*}(T^*F_λ;\C) of the cotangent bundle of a partial flag variety F_λparametrizing chains of subspaces 0=F_0\subset F_1\subset\dots\subset F_N =\C^n, \dim F_i/F_{i-1}=λ_i, as the Yangian Bethe algebra of the gl_N-weight subspace of a gl_N Yangian module. Geometric Schur duality of classical type

This is a generalization of the classic work of Beilinson, Lusztig and MacPherson. In this paper (and an Appendix) we show that the quantum algebras obtained via a BLM-type stabilization procedure in the setting of partial flag varieties of type $B/C$ are two (modified) coideal subalgebras of the quantum general linear Lie algebra, $\dot{\mathbf U}^{\jmath}$ and $\dot{\mathbf U}^{\imath}$.
