We construct CR mappings between spheres that are invariant under actions of finite unitary groups. In particular, we combine a tensoring procedure with D'Angelo's construction of a canonical group-invariant CR mapping to obtain new invariant mappings. Constructing a quasiregular analogue of $z \exp(z)$ in dimension 3

We construct a quasiregular analogue of the function $z\exp(z)$ in dimension 3, which gives the first explicit example of a quasiregular mapping of transcendental type that has exactly one zero. We then modify the construction to create a family of such quasiregular mappings and study their dynamics. From this, we also construct the first quasimeromorphic mappings with an essential singularity at infinity where the backward orbit of infinity is non-empty and finite.

Pseudohermitian invariants and classification of CR mappings in generalized ellipsoids

We discuss the problem of classifying all local CR diffeomorphisms of a strictly pseudoconvex surface. Our method exploits the Tanaka--Webster pseudohermitian invariants, their transformation formulae, and the Chern--Moser invariants. Our main application concerns a class of generalized ellipsoids where we classify all local CR mappings.

Invariant CR Mappings between Hyperquadrics

We analyze a canonical construction of group-invariant CR Mappings between hyperquadrics due to D'Angelo. Given source hyperquadric of $Q(1,1)$, we determine the signature of the target hyperquadric for all finite subgroups of $SU(1,1)$. We also extend combinatorial results proven by Loehr, Warrington, and Wilf on determinants of sparse circulant determinants. We apply these results to study CR mappings invariant under finite subgroups of $U(1,1)$.

Affine and linear invariant families of harmonic mappings

We study the order of affine and linear invariant families of planar harmonic mappings in the unit disk and determine the order of the family of mappings with bounded Schwarzian norm. The result shows that finding the order of the class $\mathcal{S}_H$ of univalent harmonic mappings can be formulated as a question about Schwarzian norm and, in particular, our result shows consistency between the conjectured order of $\mathcal{S}_H$ and the Schwarzian norm of the harmonic Koebe function.

Topological invariants and Holomorphic Mappings

Invariants for Riemann surfaces covered by the disc and for hyperbolic manifolds in general involving minimizing the measure of the image over the homotopy and homology classes of closed curves and maps of the $k$-sphere into the manifold are investigated. Invariants of Artinian Gorenstein Algebras and Isolated Hypersurface Singularities

We survey our recently proposed method for constructing biholomorphic invariants of quasihomogeneous isolated hypersurface singularities and, more generally, invariants of graded Artinian Gorenstein algebras. Dynamics of meromorphic maps with small topological degree II: Energy and invariant measure

We continue our study of the dynamics of meromorphic mappings with small topological degree on a compact Kähler surface $X$. Under general hypotheses we are able to construct a canonical invariant measure which is mixing, does not charge pluripolar sets and admits a natural geometric description.
