Recently, LHCb Collaboration announced the discovery of radial excitations of $D_s$ and $B_s$ mesons. In present work, we calculate the most promising strong and electromagnetic decay widths of radially excited $D_s(2S)$ and $B_s(2S)$ mesons within the light cone QCD sum rules method.
In this talk I report on a computation of the spectra of exotic pentaquarks and radial excitations of the low--lying ${1/2}^+$ and ${3/2}^+$ baryons in a chiral soliton model.
In the extended $U(3)\times U(3)$ NJL model, semileptonic decays of $ρ$, $ω$, $ϕ$, $η$ and $η'$ mesons in both the ground and first radially excited states are described. Quark loops of the anomalous type are considered, which are based on the vertex $η\to VV$. The obtained results are in satisfactory agreement with the existing experimental data. In addition, a number of predictions for experimentally unmeasured decays of radially excited mesons are presented.
Recently, many new excited states of heavy mesons, especially the radially excited states, are discovered. The study of the production processes of these states from the ground b-flavored mesons is of interest. In this paper, we use the improved Bethe-Salpeter method to study the semi-leptonic and non-leptonic decays of $B$, $B_s$, and $B_c$ mesons, where the final states are focused on the radial excited $2S$ and $3S$ states. We find that many channels have branching ratios up to $10^{-4}$, which are within the detection accuracy of current experiments.
The mass spectrum of orbitally and radially excited states of B and D mesons is calculated in the framework of the relativistic quark model. The expansion in inverse powers of the heavy quark mass is carried out up to the first order, while the light quark is treated without expansion. We find that the relativistic treatment of the light quark plays an important role. Different patterns of P level inversion are discussed. The obtained masses of orbitally and radially excited states are in accord with available experimental data and heavy quark symmetry relations.
The first radial excitations of axial-vector mesons are considered in the framework of the extended $U(3)\times U(3)$ Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model. We calculate the mass spectrum of $a_1$, $f_1$, and also strange axial-vector mesons. For description of radially excited states we used the form factors of polynomial type of the second order in transverse quark momentum. For the ground- and the excited-state mesons consisting of light quarks we have calculated the widths of a number of strong and radiative decays. We got satisfactory agreement with experimental data for the ground states. A set of p…
Radiative decays $π^0({π^0}')\toγ+γ$, ${π^0}'\toρ^0(ω)+γ$, ${ρ^0}'(ω')\toπ^0+γ$, and ${ρ^0}'(ω')\to{π^0}'+γ$ are considered in the framework of the non-local SU(2)$\times$SU(2) NJL model. Radially excited mesons are described with the help of polynomial form factor $f({k^\bot}^2)$, where $k^\bot$ is the quark momentum transverse to the external meson momentum. In spite of mixing of the ground and excited meson states in this model, the decay widths of $π^0\toγ+γ$ and $ρ^0(ω)\toπ^0+γ$ are found to be in good agreement with experimental data as in the standard local NJL model. Our predictions fo…
We present a relativistic constituent quark model to analyze the mass spectrum and hadronic properties of radially excited u and d quark sector mesons. Using a simple Gaussian function as a trial wave function for the variational principle of a QCD motivated Hamiltonian, we obtain the mass spectrum consistent with the experimental data. To do the same for several observables such as decay constants and form factors, it seems necessary to include both Dirac and Pauli form factors on the level of constituent quarks. Taking into account the quark form factors, we thus present the generalized form…
We consider decays of the lowest-lying radially excited baryons. Assuming a single-quark decay approximation, and negligible configuration mixing, we make model-independent predictions for the partial decay widths to final states with a single meson. Masses of unobserved states are predicted using an old mass formula rederived using large-$N_c$ QCD. The momentum dependence of the one-body decay amplitude is determined phenomenologically by fitting to observed decays. Comparison of these predictions to experiment may shed light on whether the Roper resonance can be interpreted as a three-quark …
The $U(3) \times U(3)$ chiral symmetric NJL model describing pseudoscalar, vector, and axial vector mesons in both the ground state and first radially excited states is shortly presented in this review. In this model, it is possible to describe a large number of low-energy interactions of mesons, $τ$ lepton decays into mesons and processes of meson production in electron-positron annihilations in satisfactory agreement with the experiments. In describing a number of processes, it turned out to be necessary to take into account the interactions of mesons in the final state.
We consider the strong decays of the lowest-lying radially excited baryons, in SU(6) language the states comprising the first excited 56-plet. Assuming a single-quark decay approximation, and negligible configuration mixing, we make model-independent predictions for the partial decay widths to final states with a single meson. Masses of unobserved states are predicted using results from large-N_c QCD, and the momentum dependence of the one-body decay amplitude is determined phenomenologically by fitting to observed decays, so that the baryon spatial wave functions are not assumed. We point out…
Inspired from the experimental information coming from LHC [2,3] and Babar [4] for radially higher excited charmed mesons, we predict the masses and decays of the n=2 S-wave and P- wave bottom mesons using the effective lagrangian approach. Using heavy quark effective theory approach, non-perturbative parameters (?, ?1 and ?2) are fitted using the available experimental and theoretical informations on charm masses. Using heavy quark symmetry and the values of these fitted parameters, the masses of radially excited even and odd parity bottom mesons with and without strangness are predicted. The…
We study radial excitations of pseudoscalar and vector (q bar q) mesons within a chiral approach. We derive a general form for a chiral Lagrangian describing processes involving excited pseudoscalar and vector mesons. The parameters of the chiral Lagrangian are fitted using data and previous calculations in the framework of the 3P0 model. Finite-width effects are examined and predictions for mesons previously not discussed are given. Available experimental data is analyzed whenever possible. Possible hints for exotic mesons and open interpretation-issues are discussed.
In the color dipole gBFKL dynamics we predict a strikingly different Q^2 and energy dependence of the diffraction slope for the elastic production of ground state V(1S) and radially excited V'(2S) light vector mesons. The color dipole model predictions for the diffraction slope for ρ^0 and ϕ^0 production are in a good agreement with the data from the fixed target and collider HERA experiments. We present how a different form of anomalous energy and Q^2 dependence of the diffraction slope for V'(2S) production leads to a different position of the node in radial wave function and discuss a possi…
In the extended NJL model the radiative decay widths of the radially excited states of the pseudoscalar $π$, $η$, and $η'$ mesons are calculated. The predictions for the decay widths of the processes $π(1300)\longrightarrow(ρ^0,ω)γ$, $η(1295)\longrightarrow(ρ^0,ω,ϕ)γ$, and $η(1475)\longrightarrow(ρ^0,ω,ϕ)γ$ are given. Nowadays, there are no solid experimental data for these processes. The comparison of the results obtained in the framework of the standard and the extended NJL models for decays of the ground states of mesons is given. It is shown that these calculations correspond to each other…
The mass and residues of the first radial and orbital excitations of $J=\frac{1}{2}$ baryons containing two heavy quarks (b or c) are calculated within the QCD sum rules method. In calculations, the general forms of the interpolating currents with symmetric and anti-symmetric forms with respect to the exchange of heavy quarks have been used. Our results on the spectroscopic parameters of doubly heavy baryons are compared with the predictions of other theoretical approaches.
We calculate the masses and weak decay constants of flavorless ground and radially excited $J^P=1^-$ mesons and the corresponding quantities for the K^*, within a Poincaré covariant continuum framework based on the Bethe-Salpeter equation. We use in both, the quark's gap equation and the meson bound-state equation, an infrared massive and finite interaction in the leading symmetry-preserving truncation. While our numerical results are in rather good agreement with experimental values where they are available, no single parametrization of the QCD inspired interaction reproduces simultaneously t…
We consider the weak decays of a B meson to final states that contain a S-wave radially excited vector meson. We consider vector-pseudoscalar final states and calculate ratios of the type $B \to ρ^{\prime} π/B \to ρπ$, $B \to ω^{\prime} π/B \to ωπ$ and $B \to ϕ^{\prime} π/B \to ϕπ$ where $ρ^{\prime}$, $ω^{\prime}$ and $ϕ^{\prime}$ are higher $ρ$, $ω$ and $ϕ$ S-wave radial excitations. We find such decays to have larger or similar branching ratios compared to decays where the final state $ρ$, $ω$ and $ϕ$ are in the ground state. We also study the effect of radial mixing in the vector system gen…
In this paper, we analyzed the experimentally available radially excited charm mesons to predict the similar spectra for the n=2 bottom mesons. In the heavy quark effective theory, we explore the flavor independent parameters to calculate the masses for the experimentally unknown n=2 bottom mesons B(2S), B(2P), Bs(2S) and Bs(2P). We have also analyzed these bottom masses by applying the QCD and 1/mQ corrections to the lagrangian leading to the modification of flavor symmetry parameters as. Further strong decay widths are determined using these calculated masses to check the sensitivity of thes…
Within the color dipole gBFKL dynamics applied to the diffraction slope we predict an anomalous t dependence of the differential cross section as a function of energy and Q^2 for production of radially excited V'(2S) light vector mesons in contradiction with a well known standard monotonous t- behaviour for V(1S) mesons. The origin of this phenomenon is based on the interplay of the nodal structure of V'(2S) radial wave function with the energy and dipole size dependence of the color dipole cross section and of the diffraction slope. We present how a different position of the node in V'(2S) wa…
Meson mass spectra, evaluated in the framework of the relativistic model of quasi-independent quarks, are presented. Mass values are obtained with the help of numerical calculations based on the Dirac equation and by phenomenological mass formulae. The Dirac equation involves the potential, which is sum of the vector quasi-Coulombic potential and the scalar linear rising confinement potential. The phenomenological mass formulae are applied to excited meson states consisting of u-, d-quarks and antiquarks with isotopical spin I=1. A comparison of the evaluated mass spectra with existing data is…
While many properties of the vector charmonium first excitations are yet to be measured, enhancements at unexpected energies are intriguing, alias the $Y$ states. In order to understand the naturally unquenched mesonic line-shapes, the influence of the most relevant hadronic decay channels must be taken into account. Within an unitary effective approach we present results where mesonic loops are included in an equivalent manner to coupled-channels. We show results for the $ψ(3770)$ and $ψ(4160)$ systems, where we find the nonperturbative effects of dynamical generation of poles and line-shape …
We solve the Bethe-Salpeter equation (BSE) for a system of a heavy quark-antiquark pair interacting with a Poincare invariant generalization of screened linear confining potential. In order to get reliable description the Lorentz scalar confining interaction is complemented by the effective one gluon exchange. Within presented model we reasonably reproduce all known radial excitations of the vector charmonia. We have found that $J/Ψ$ is the only charmonium left bellow naive quark-antiquark threshold $2m_c$, while the all excited states are situated above this threshold. We develop a method whi…
The enigmatic charged states $Z_c(3900)$, $Z_c(4020)$, $Z_c(4050)$, $Z_b(10610)$, and $Z_b(10650)$ are studied within a coupled-channel Schrödinger model, where radially excited quark-antiquark pairs, with the same angular momenta and isospin as the $a_1(1260)$ and $b_1(1235)$, are strongly coupled to their Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka - allowed decay channels $D\bar{D}^*+\bar{D}D^*$ and $D^*\bar{D}^*$, or $B\bar{B}^*+\bar{B}B^*$ and $B^*\bar{B}^*$, in $S$ and $D$-wave. Poles, matching the experimental mass and width of all the above states, are found by varying only two free parameters. From the wave-f…
In this article, we firstly derive two QCD sum rules QCDSR I and QCDSR II which are respectively used to extract observable quantities of the ground states and the first radially excited states of D-wave vector $ρ$ and $ϕ$ mesons. In our calculations, we consider the contributions of vacuum condensates up to dimension-7 in the operator product expansion. The predicted masses for $1^{3}D_{1}$ $ρ$ meson and $2^{3}D_{1}$ $ϕ$ meson are consistent well with the experimental data of $ρ$($1700$) and $ϕ$($2170$). Besides, our analysis indicates that it is reliable to assign the recent reported $Y$($20…
By exploring heavy quark effective theory (HQET), we use theoretical available data for bottom mesons to analysis the masses and decays for n = 3 charm mesons. From the predicted masses, we studied ground state strong decay modes in terms of couplings. Comparing the decays with available total decay widths, we provide upper bounds on the associated couplings. We also plot Regge trajectories for our predicted data in planes (J, $M^2$ ) and ($n_r$, $M^2$ ) and estimated higher masses (n = 4) by fixing Regge slopes and intercepts. These Regge trajectories are used to clarify $D_2^*(3000)$ state's…
Possible assignments of $D_{s1}(2700)^\pm$ and $D_{sJ}(2860)$ in the conventional quark model are analyzed. The study indicates that both the orbitally excited $c\bar s$ and the radially excited $c\bar s$ are possible. Some implications to these assignments are explored. If $D_{s1}(2700)^\pm$ and $D_{sJ}(2860)$ are the orbitally excited D-wave $1^- (j^P={3\over 2}^-)$ and $3^- (j^P={5\over 2}^-)$, respectively, another orbitally excited D-wave $2^-$ $D_s$, $D_{s2}(2800)$, is expected. If $D_{s1}(2700)^\pm$ and $D_{sJ}(2860)$ are the first radially excited $1^- (j^P={1\over 2}^-)$ and $0^+ (j^P…
A new qualitative stringlike picture for mesons is proposed which leads to a simple and intuitively clear generalization of linear radial Regge trajectories to the case of massive quarks. The obtained universal relation is successfully tested in the sector of unflavored vector mesons, where many radial excitations are known. Some new predictions are given. Our results suggest that the quark masses can be easily estimated from the spectra of radially excited mesons.
The purpose of this paper is twofold. The first purpose is to find a fully Poincare invariant solution of the Bethe-Salpeter equation for excited quarkonia, however, the second, in fact, major focus is on the relevance of the space-time metric choice and its imapact on the correct description of the ground and all excited states. For the first time, we compare BSE solutions defined independently with Euclidean and Minkowski metric. For this purpose, the BSE is conventionally defined and solved in Euclidean space with two versions of the propagator : the bare propagator and the confined form of…
We have computed branching ratios of two-body nonleptonic B_c \to X_{c\bar{c}}M decays, where X_{c\bar{c}} is the radially excited charmonium η_c(2S) or ψ(2S) meson, and M is a pseudoscalar (P) or a vector (V) or an axial-vector (A(^3P_1)) meson. We have assumed factorization hypothesis and calculated the form factors in the nonrelativistic ISGW2 quark model. We have found that some of these decays have branching ratios of the order of 10^{-3} - 10^{-4}.
Exclusive semileptonic B decays to radially excited charmed mesons are investigated at the first order of the heavy quark expansion. The arising leading and subleading Isgur-Wise functions are calculated in the framework of the relativistic quark model. It is found that the 1/m_Q corrections play an important role and substantially modify results. An interesting interplay between different corrections is found. As a result the branching ratio for the B-> D'eνdecay is essentially increased by 1/m_Q corrections, while the one for B-> D*'eνis only slightly influenced by them.
In the wake of recent measurements of ratios of semileptonic branching fractions: ${\cal R}_{J/ψ}, {\cal R}_D$ and ${\cal R}_{D^*}$ reported by the LHCb, BELLE and HFLAV Collaborations, we calculate invariant form factors for the exclusive semileptonic $B_c$-meson decays to radially excited charmonium and charm meson states in the full kinematical region within the framework of relativistic independent quark (RIQ)model. We evaluate the lepton mass effect in the decay processes induced by $b\to c,u$ transition at the quark level. Our predictions on branching fractions for $B_c\to η_c/ψ(nS)$ are…
The excited states of charmonia are numerically investigated in quenched lattice QCD with improved gauge and Wilson fermion actions formulated on anisotropic lattices. Through a constrained curve fitting algorithm, the masses of the first excited states in $0^{++}$, $1^{++}$, and $1^{+-}$ channels are determined to be 3.825(88), 3.853(57), and 3.858(70) GeV, respectively. Furthormore, a node structure is also observed in the Bethe-Salpeter amplitude of the $1^{++}$ first excited state. These observations indicate that X(3872) could be the first radial excitation of $χ_{c1}$.
The amplitudes for one-pion mediated transitions between heavy meson excited states are obtained in the framework of the relativistic chiral quark model. The effective coupling constants to pions and the decay widths of excited heavy mesons with l<=2 for non-radially excited, and the l=0 radially excited mesons are presented for both charmed and beauty mesons. We also discuss the allowed decays of strange excited heavy mesons by emission of a K-meson.
We present the color dipole phenomenology of diffractive photo- and electroproduction $γ^{*} N\to V(V') N$ of vector mesons ($V(1S) = ϕ^0, ω^0, ρ^0, J/Ψ, Υ$) and their radial excitations ($V'(2S) = ϕ', ω', ρ', Ψ', Υ'$). The main emphasis is related to light vector mesons. We discuss how the energy dependence of the color dipole cross section in conjuction with the node of the radial wave function of the $2S$ states can lead to an anomalous $Q^2$ and energy dependence of diffractive production of $V'(2S)$ vector mesons. The color dipole model predictions for $V(1S)$ light vector meson productio…
Nonleptonic two body B decays including radially excited $π(1300)$ or $ρ(1450)$ mesons in the final state are studied using the framework of generalized naive factorization approach. Branching ratios and CP asymmetries of $B\to Pπ(1300)$, $B\to Vπ(1300)$, $B\to Pρ(1450)$ and $B\to Vρ(1450)$ decays are calculated, where P and V stand for pseudoscalar and vector charmless mesons. Form factors for $B\to π(1300)$ and $B\to ρ(1450)$ transitions are estimated in the improved version of the Isgur-Scora-Grinstein-Wise quark model. In some processes, CP asymmetries of more than 10% and branching ratios…
Within the framework of AdS/QCD models, the spectra of radially excited hadrons are identified with towers of Kaluza-Klein (KK) states in a putative dual theory. The infinite number of KK states is indispensable to provide correct high energy asymptotics of correlation functions in QCD. It is known, however, that the KK modes of dual theory must be qualitatively different from real hadrons. And what is more important, the radially excited states appear in lattice calculations not as "excitations" of some ground state, but rather as independent states coupled to higher dimensional QCD operators…
We discuss the possibilities of testing the recent claims of a relatively large value of the B --> D' transition form factor through B0--> D' pi+ and B- --> D' pi- decay modes. To estimate the width of the latter we need the decay constant of the radially excited D-meson that we computed in lattice QCD with Nf=2 dynamical flavors and after taking the continuum limit we found f(D')=117(25) MeV. We also provide an update for the values of the D-meson decay constants obtained by using maximally twisted mass QCD.

The hadronic decay of radially and orbitally excited charmonium above charm threshold by $^3 P_{0}$ pair creation and chromoelectric flux--tube breaking is discussed in an harmonic oscillator approximation. We find independent evidence from a study of widths for a 2S admixture in the predominantly 1D state $ψ(3770)$, and explore the possibility of metastable radially excited $2 \; ^{3}P_{0,1,2}$ states being a source of the anomalously large production of $ψ^{'}$ at the Tevatron. At least one of them is expected to be narrow as a consequence of the existence of nodes in the radial wave functio…
We present the interpretation that the recently discovered Z^+(4430) by the Belle Collaboration can be a radial excitation of the cs-bar state. We give an explicit cs-bar candidate for this state by calculating the mass value in our semirelativistic quark potential model and also give a natural interpretation on the reason why the decay mode Z-> J/ψπ^+ has not yet been seen while Z-> ψ' πcan be seen.
In this work we investigate the photoproduction of radially excited vector mesons off nuclei in heavy ion relativistic collisions. In particular, we analyze the exclusive photoproduction of psi(2S) off nuclei, evaluating the coherent and the incoherent contributions to that process. The theoretical framework used in the present analysis is the light-cone dipole formalism and predictions are done for PbPb collisions at the CERN-LHC energy of 2.76 TeV. The theoretical uncertainties are analyzed and comparison is also done to the recent ALICE Collaboration data for the psi(1S) state photoproducti…
Leading twist light cone distribution amplitudes (LCDAs) are key ingredients in calculating various hadronic amplitudes using light cone QCD sum rules. This work concentrates on calculating the leading twist LCDAs of P-wave heavy quarkonia. Quark model wavefunctions for the ground, first and second excited states of P-wave charmonia and bottomonia have been calculated, and are used for calculating the relevant LCDAs and leptonic decay constants.
The mass and decay constant of the heavy quarkonia $h_{Q}(1P)$ and $h_{Q}(2P)$ (Q = b, c) with quantum numbers $J^{PC} =1^{+-}$ are calculated in the framework of the two-point QCD sum rule method by taking into account the vacuum condensates up to eight dimensions. We compare our results for parameters of the $h_{b}(1P)$ and $h_{c}(1P)$ quarkonia, and their first radially excited states $h_{b}(2P)$ and $h_{c}(2P)$ with available experimental data as well as predictions of other theoretical studies existing in the literature. The results of present work may shed light on experimental searches …
We discuss the possibility to measure in present experiments, especially LHCb, the non leptonic decay branching ratio $B \to D' π$, and emphasize phenomenological implications on $B \to D' l ν$ semileptonic decay. We have estimated by lattice QCD the $D'$ decay constant $f_{D'}$ that parameterizes the $D'$ emission contribution to the Class-III non leptonic decay $B^- \to D^0 π^-$. In addition, we provide a new estimate of the decay constants $f_{D_{s,q}}$ which read $f_{D_{s}}=252(3)$ MeV and $f_{D_{s}}/f_{D}=1.23(1)(1)$.
In the framework of chiral quark model, the mass spectrum of $η_c(ns) (n=1,...,6)$ is studied with Gaussian expansion method. With the wave functions obtained in the study of mass spectrum, the open flavor two-body strong decay widths are calculated by using $^3P_0$ model. The results show that the masses of $η_c(1S)$ and $η_c(2S)$ are consistent with the experimental data. The explanation of X(3940) as $η_c(3S)$ is disfavored for X(3940) is a narrow state, $Γ=37^{+26}_{-15} \pm 8 $ MeV, while the open flavor two-body strong decay width of $η_c(3S)$ is about 200 MeV in our calculation. Althoug…
A chiral Lagrangian containing, besides the usual meson fields, their first radial excitations is constructed. The Lagrangian is derived by bosonization of a Nambu--Jona-Lasinio (NJL) type quark model with separable nonlocal interactions. The nonlocality is described by form factors corresponding to 3-dimensional excited state wave functions. The spontaneous breaking of chiral symmetry is governed by the standard NJL gap equations. A simple SU(2)xSU(2) version of the model is used to demonstrate all low-energy theorems to hold valid in the chiral limit. A more realistic U(3)xU(3) model with 't…
We calculate the strong coupling constants g_(P^(**)P^(*)π), where P^(**)(D^(**), B^(**)) is the 1^+ p-wave state, in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules, and using these values of g_(P^(**)P^(*) pi, we compute the hadronic decay widths for D^(**) -> D^* pi and B^(**) -> B^* pi.
The couplings of pions with lowest three doublets (0^-,1^-), (0^+,1^+) and (1^+,2^+) of heavy mesons are studied with ligh cone QCD sum rules in the leading order of heavy quark effective theory. The ambiguity due to the presence of two distinct 1^+ states are solved.
We consider a new approach towards constructing approximate holographic duals of QCD from experimental hadron properties. This framework allows us to derive a gravity dual which reproduces the empirically found linear square-mass trajectories of universal slope for radially and orbitally excited hadrons. Conformal symmetry breaking in the bulk is exclusively due to infrared deformations of the anti-de Sitter metric and governed by one free mass scale proportional to Lambda_QCD. The resulting background geometry exhibits dual signatures of confinement and provides the first examples of holograp…
It has been recently argued that some longstanding problems in semileptonic B decays can be solved provided the branching ratio for the $B\to D^{\prime(\ast)}$ semileptonic decays are large enough. We have studied these decays in a constituent quark model which has been successful in describing semileptonic and non-leptonic B decays into orbitally excited charmed mesons. Our results do not confirm the hypothesis of large branching ratios for the $B\to D^{\prime(\ast)}$ semileptonic decays. In addition, we calculate the non-leptonic $B\to D'π$ decays which can provide an independent test of the…
Semileptonic transitions $\overline{B} \to D^{(n)} \ell \overlineν$, where $D^{(n)} (n \not = 0)$ is a radially excited meson, have recently attracted much attention as a way to understand some puzzles between theory and data. Following closely the formalism of Falk and Neubert for the elastic case, we study the $1/m_Q$ corrections to the heavy quark limit, in which the inelastic Isgur-Wise function vanishes at zero recoil, $ξ^{(n)}(1) = 0\ (n \not = 0)$. We find simple formulas that involve the derivative $ξ^{(n)'}(1)$, and we propose a number of ways of isolating this quantity in practice. W…
The formfactors of B_1 -> pi and D_1 -> pi transitions, where B_1(D_1) is the 1^+ P-wave -> Q gamma_νγ_5q meson state, are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD. Furthermore these formfactors are compared with the pole dominance model prediction using the values of the strong coupling constants g_{B_1 B^* pi} and g_{D_1 D^* pi}, and a good agreement between these two different descriptions is observed.
The $J^P=0^-$ radial excitation $D_s(2^1S_0)$ is anticipated to have mass $2650$ MeV (denoted with $D_s(2650)$) though it has not been observed. $D_s(2650)$ is anticipated to be observed in inclusive $e^+e^-$ and $pp$ collisions in $D^*K$ channel. $D_s(2650)$ can be produced from hadronic decays of higher excited resonances. In a $^3P_0$ model, hadronic production of $D_s(2650)$ has been studied, relevant decay widths have been estimated. The hadronic decays of $D_s(3P)$ have been explored in detail, and the dominant decay channels have been pointed out. Two hadronic decay channels of $D^+_{sJ…
