We discuss the interpretation of path integral optimization as a uniformization problem in even dimensions. This perspective allows for a systematical construction of the higher-dimensional path integral complexity in holographic conformal field theories in terms of Q-curvature actions. We explore the properties and consequences of these actions from the perspective of the optimization programme, tensor networks and penalty factors. Moreover, in the context of recently proposed holographic path integral optimization, we consider higher curvature contributions on the Hartle-Hawking bulk slice and study their impact on the optimization as well as their relation to Q-curvature actions and finite cut-off holography.

On p-adic path integral

Feynman's path integral is generalized to quantum mechanics on p-adic space and time. Such p-adic path integral is analytically evaluated for quadratic Lagrangians. Obtained result has the same form as that one in ordinary quantum mechanics.

Komar integrals for theories of higher order in the curvature and black-hole chemistry

We construct Komar-type integrals for theories of gravity of higher order in the Riemann curvature coupled to simple kinds of matter (scalar and vector fields) and we use them to compute Smarr formulae for black-hole solutions in those theories. The equivalence between f(R) and Brans-Dicke theories is used to argue that the dimensionful parameters that appear in scalar potentials must be interpreted as thermodynamical variables ("pressures") and we give a general expression for their conjugate potentials ("volumes"}.

Integral transforms of the quantum mechanical path integral: hit function and path averaged potential

We introduce two new integral transforms of the quantum mechanical transition kernel that represent physical information about the path integral. These transforms can be interpreted as probability distributions on particle trajectories measuring respectively the relative contribution to the path integral from paths crossing a given spatial point (the hit function) and the likelihood of values of the line integral of the potential along a path in the ensemble (the path averaged potential).

Path integral measure factorization in path integrals for diffusion of Yang--Mills fields

Factorization of the (formal) path integral measure in a Wiener path integrals for Yang--Mills diffusion is studied. Using the nonlinear filtering stochastic differential equation, we perform the transformation of the path integral defined on a total space of the Yang--Mills principal fiber bundle and come to the reduced path integral on a Coulomb gauge surface. Integral relation between the path integral representing the "quantum" evolution given on the original manifold of Yang--Mills fields and the path integral on the reduced manifold defined by the Coulomb gauge is obtained.

Classification of Solvable Feynman Path Integrals

A systematic classification of Feynman path integrals in quantum mechanics is presented and a table of solvable path integrals is given which reflects the progress made during the last ten years or so, including, of course, the main contributions since the invention of the path integral by Feynman in 1942. An outline of the general theory is given. Explicit formulæ for the so-called basic path integrals are presented on which our general scheme to classify and calculate path integrals in quantum mechanics is based.

Schwinger-Keldysh path integral for the quantum harmonic oscillator

I review the generating function for quantum-statistical mechanics, known as the Feynman-Vernon influence functional, the decoherence functional, or the Schwinger-Keldysh path integral. I describe a probability-conserving $i\varepsilon$ prescription from a path-integral implementation of Lindblad evolution. I also explain how to generalize the formalism to accommodate out-of-time-ordered correlators (OTOCs), leading to a Larkin-Ovchinnikov path integral. My goal is to provide step-by-step calculations of path integrals associated to the harmonic oscillator.
