It is often said that asymmetric dark matter is light compared to typical weakly interacting massive particles. Here we point out a simple scheme with a neutrino portal and $\mathcal{O}(60 \text{ GeV})$ asymmetric dark matter which may be ''added'' to any standard baryogenesis scenario. The dark sector contains a copy of the Standard Model gauge group, as well as (at least) one matter family, Higgs, and right-handed neutrino. After baryogenesis, some lepton asymmetry is transferred to the dark sector through the neutrino portal where dark sphalerons convert it into a dark baryon asymmetry. Dark hadrons form asymmetric dark matter and may be directly detected due to the vector portal. Surprisingly, even dark anti-neutrons may be directly detected if they have a sizeable electric dipole moment. The dark photons visibly decay at current and future experiments which probe complementary parameter space to dark matter direct detection searches. Exotic Higgs decays are excellent signals at future $e^+ e^-$ Higgs factories.
Asymmetric Dark Stars, i.e., compact objects formed from the collapse of asymmetric dark matter could potentially produce a detectable photon flux if dark matter particles self-interact via dark photons that kinetically mix with ordinary photons. The morphology of the emitted spectrum is significantly different and therefore distinguishable from a typical black-body one. Given the above and the fact that asymmetric dark stars can have masses outside the range of neutron stars, the detection of such a spectrum can be considered as a smoking gun signature for the existence of these exotic stars.
In existing dark matter models with global symmetries the relic abundance of dark matter is either equal to that of anti-dark matter (thermal WIMP), or vastly larger, with essentially no remaining anti-dark matter (asymmetric dark matter). By exploring the consequences of a primordial asymmetry on the coupled dark matter and anti-dark matter Boltzmann equations we find large regions of parameter space that interpolate between these two extremes. Interestingly, this new asymmetric WIMP framework can accommodate a wide range of dark matter masses and annihilation cross sections. The present-day …
We investigate the effect of a braneworld expansion era on the relic density of asymmetric dark matter. We find that the enhanced expansion rate in the early universe predicted by the Randall-Sundrum II (RSII) model leads to earlier particle freeze-out and an enhanced relic density. This effect has been observed previously by Okada and Seto (2004) for symmetric dark matter models and here we extend their results to the case of asymmetric dark matter. We also discuss the enhanced asymmetric annihilation rate in the braneworld scenario and its implications for indirect detection experiments.
We investigate the relic abundance of asymmetric Dark Matter particles that were in thermal equilibrium in the early universe. The standard analytic calculation of the symmetric Dark Matter is generalized to the asymmetric case. We calculate the asymmetry required to explain the observed Dark Matter relic abundance as a function of the annihilation cross section. We show that introducing an asymmetry always reduces the indirect detection signal from WIMP annihilation, although it has a larger annihilation cross section than symmetric Dark Matter. This opens new possibilities for the constructi…
Self-interacting dark matter resolves the issue of cuspy profiles that appear in non-interacting cold dark matter simluations; it may additionally resolve the so-called "too big to fail" problem in structure formation. Asymmetric dark matter provides a natural explanation of the comparable densities of baryonic matter and dark matter. In this paper, we discuss unique indirect detection signals produced by a minimal model of self-interacting asymmetric scalar dark matter. Through the formation of dark matter bound states, a dark force mediator particle may be emitted; the decay of this particle…
In order to annihilate in the early Universe to levels well below the measured dark matter density, asymmetric dark matter must possess large couplings to the Standard Model. In this paper, we consider effective operators which allow asymmetric dark matter to annihilate into quarks. In addition to a bound from requiring sufficient annihilation, the energy scale of such operators can be constrained by limits from direct detection and monojet searches at colliders. We show that the allowed parameter space for these operators is highly constrained, leading to non-trivial requirements that any mod…
Considering the existence of old neutron stars puts strong limits on the dark matter/nucleon cross section for bosonic asymmetric dark matter. Key to these bounds is formation of a Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) of the asymmetric dark matter particles. We consider the effects of the host neutron star's gravitational field on the BEC transition. We find this substantially shifts the transition temperature and so strengthens the bounds on cross section. In particular, for the well-motivated mass range of ~5-15 GeV, we improve previous bounds by an order of magnitude.
We show that the relic abundance of the minority component of asymmetric dark matter can be very sensitive to the expansion rate of the Universe and the temperature of transition between a non-standard pre-Big Bang Nucleosynthesis cosmological phase and the standard radiation dominated phase, if chemical decoupling happens before this transition. In particular, because the annihilation cross section of asymmetric dark matter is typically larger than that of symmetric dark matter in the standard cosmology, the decrease in relic density of the minority component in non-standard cosmologies with …
We present a new realization of asymmetric dark matter in which the dark matter and lepton asymmetries are generated simultaneously through two-sector leptogenesis. The right-handed neutrinos couple both to the Standard Model and to a hidden sector where the dark matter resides. This framework explains the lepton asymmetry, dark matter abundance and neutrino masses all at once. In contrast to previous realizations of asymmetric dark matter, the model allows for a wide range of dark matter masses, from keV to 10 TeV. In particular, very light dark matter can be accommodated without violating ex…
We consider the implications of fermionic asymmetric dark matter for a "mixed neutron star" composed of ordinary baryons and dark fermions. We find examples, where for a certain range of dark fermion mass -- when it is less than that of ordinary baryons -- such systems can reach higher masses than the maximal values allowed for ordinary ("pure") neutron stars. This is shown both within a simplified, heuristic Newtonian analytic framework with non-interacting particles and via a general relativistic numerical calculation, under certain assumptions for the dark matter equation of state. Our work…
The observational relation between the density of baryon and dark matter in the Universe, $Ω_{\rm DM}/Ω_B\simeq 5$, is one of the most difficult problems to solve in modern cosmology. We discuss a scenario that explains this relation by combining the asymmetric dark matter scenario and the spontaneous baryogenesis associated with the flat direction in the supersymmetric standard model. A part of baryon asymmetry is transferred to charge asymmetry $D$ that dark matter carries, if a symmetry violating interaction that works at high temperature breaks not only $B-L$ but also $D$ symmetries simult…
We investigate, in the context of asymmetric dark matter (DM), a new mechanism of spontaneous co-genesis of linked DM and baryon asymmetries, explaining the observed relation between the baryon and DM densities, Omega_DM/Omega_B ~ 5. The co-genesis mechanism requires a light scalar field, phi, with mass below 5 eV which couples derivatively to DM, much like a `dark axion'. The field phi can itself provide a final state into which the residual symmetric DM component can annihilate away.
We review the theoretical framework underlying models of asymmetric dark matter, describe astrophysical constraints which arise from observations of neutron stars, and discuss the prospects for detecting asymmetric dark matter.
We propose a novel mechanism to realize two-component asymmetric dark matter of very different mass scales through bound state formation and late freeze-in decay. Assuming a particle-antiparticle asymmetry is initially shared by SM baryons and two dark matter components, we demonstrate that the existence of bound states formed by the heavy component can efficiently transfer the asymmetry from the heavy to the light component via late decay. In this case, the energy densities of the two components can be comparable, and the correct relic density is reproduced.
We study the effect of a first-order phase transition in a confining $SU(N)$ dark sector with heavy dark quarks. The baryons of this sector are the dark matter candidate. During the confinement phase transition the heavy quarks are trapped inside isolated, contracting pockets of the deconfined phase, giving rise to a second stage of annihilation that dramatically suppresses the dark quark abundance. The surviving abundance is determined by the local accidental asymmetry in each pocket. The correct dark matter abundance is obtained for $\mathcal{O}(1-100)$ PeV dark quarks, above the usual unita…
We argue that current neutron star observations exclude asymmetric bosonic non-interacting dark matter in the range from 2 keV to 16 GeV, including the 5-15 GeV range favored by DAMA and CoGeNT. If bosonic WIMPs are composite of fermions, the same limits apply provided the compositeness scale is higher than ~10^12 GeV (for WIMP mass ~1 GeV). In case of repulsive self-interactions, we exclude large range of WIMP masses and interaction cross sections which complements the constraints imposed by observations of the Bullet Cluster.
A ~5 GeV `dark baryon' with a cosmic asymmetry similar to that of baryons is a natural candidate for the dark matter. We study the possibility of generating such a state through dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking, and show that it can share the relic baryon asymmetry via sphaleron interactions, even though it has no electroweak interactions. The scattering cross-section on nucleons, estimated in analogy to QCD, is within reach of underground direct detection experiments.
In this paper we study the effect of electroweak sphaleron transition or electroweak phase transition (EWPT) in balancing baryon excess to the excess stable quarks of $4^{th}$ generation. Considering the conservation of all quantum number and charges, sphaleron transition between between baryons, leptons and $4^{th}$ family of leptons and quarks is possible. We have tried to established a possible definite relationship between the value and sign of the $4^{th}$ family excess relative to baryon asymmetry under the framework of second order EWPT. In passing by we show the small, yet negligible d…
Very light dark matter is usually taken to consist of uncharged bosons such as axion-like particles or dark photons. Here, we consider the prospect of very light, possibly even sub-eV dark matter carrying a net charge that is (approximately) conserved. By making use of the Affleck-Dine mechanism for its production, we show that a sizable fraction of the energy density can be stored in the asymmetric component. We furthermore argue that there exist regions of parameter space where the energy density contained in symmetric particle-antiparticle pairs without net charge can to some degree be depl…
We study a natural implementation of Asymmetric Dark Matter in Twin Higgs models. The mirroring of the Standard Model strong sector suggests that a twin baryon with mass around 5 GeV is a natural Dark Matter candidate once a twin baryon number asymmetry comparable to the SM asymmetry is generated. We explore twin baryon Dark Matter in two different scenarios, one with minimal content in the twin sector and one with a complete copy of the SM, including a light twin photon. The essential requirements for successful thermal history are presented, and in doing so we address some of the cosmologica…
The relic abundance of particle and antiparticle dark matter (DM) need not be vastly different in thermal asymmetric dark matter (ADM) models. By considering the effect of a primordial asymmetry on the thermal Boltzmann evolution of coupled DM and anti-DM, we derive the requisite annihilation cross section. This is used in conjunction with CMB and Fermi-LAT gamma-ray data to impose a limit on the number density of anti-DM particles surviving thermal freeze-out. When the extended gamma-ray emission from the Galactic Center is reanalyzed in a thermal ADM framework, we find that annihilation into…
We extend the analysis of asymmetric Dark Matter relic density with Sommerfeld enhancement to the case where the mediator is massive. In asymmetric Dark Matter models, the asymmetric Dark Matter is assumed to couple to light scalar or vector boson. Asymmetric Dark Matter annihilation cross section is enhanced by the Sommerfeld effect which exists due to the distortion of wavefunction of asymmetric Dark Matter particle and anti--particle by long--range interactions. The impacts of Sommerfeld enhancement on the relic densities of asymmetric Dark Matter particle and anti--particle are discussed. …
We introduce a model for matters-genesis in which both the baryonic and dark matter asymmetries originate from a first-order phase transition in a dark sector with an $SU(3)\times SU(2)\times U(1)$ gauge group and minimal matter content. In the simplest scenario, we predict that dark matter is a dark antineutron with mass either $m_{\bar{n}} = 1.36$ GeV or $m_{\bar{n}} = 1.63$ GeV. Alternatively, dark matter may be comprised of equal numbers of dark antiprotons and pions. This model, in either scenario, is highly discoverable through both dark matter direct detection and dark photon search exp…
The simplest renormalizable effective field theories with asymmetric dark matter bound states contain two additional gauge singlet fields one being the dark matter and the other a mediator particle that the dark matter annihilates into. We examine the physics of one such model with a Dirac fermion as the dark matter and a real scalar mediator. For a range of parameters the Yukawa coupling of the dark matter to the mediator gives rise to stable asymmetric dark matter bound states. We derive properties of the bound states including nuggets formed from $N\gg1$ dark matter particles. We also consi…
We discuss possible signatures of Asymmetric Dark Matter (ADM) through dark matter decays to neutrinos. We specifically focus on scenarios in which the Standard Model (SM) baryon asymmetry is transferred to the dark sector (DS) through higher dimensional operators in chemical equilibrium. In such cases, the dark matter (DM) carries lepton and/or baryon number, and we point out that for a wide range of quantum number assignments, by far the strongest constraints on dark matter decays come from decays to neutrinos through the "neutrino portal" operator HL. Together with the facts that ADM favors…
The first result of AMS-02 confirms the positron fraction excess observed by PAMELA, but the spectrum is somewhat softer than that of PAMELA. In the dark matter (DM) interpretation it brings a tension between AMS-02 and Fermi-LAT, which reported an excess of the electron plus positron flux. In this work we point out that the asymmetric cosmic ray from asymmetric dark matter (ADM) decay relaxes the tension. It is found that in the case of two-body decay a bosonic ADM around 2.4 TeV and decaying into $μ^-τ^+$ can significantly improve the fits. Based on the $R-$parity-violating supersymmetry wit…
Asymmetric dark matter models are based on the hypothesis that the present-day abundance of dark matter has the same origin as the abundance of ordinary or visible matter: an asymmetry in the number densities of particles and antiparticles. They are largely motivated by the observed similarity in the mass densities of dark and visible matter, with the former observed to be about five times the latter. This review discusses the construction of asymmetric dark matter models, summarizes cosmological and astrophysical implications and bounds, and touches on direct detection prospects and collider …
We investigate the relic abundance of asymmetric Dark Matter particles in quintessence model with a kination phase. The analytic calculation of the asymmetric Dark Matter in the standard cosmological scenario is extended to the nonstandard cosmological scenario where we specifically discuss the quintessence model with a kination phase. We found that the enhancement of Hubble rate changes the relic density of particles and anti--particles. We use the present day Dark Matter abundance to constrain the Hubble rate in quintessence model with a kination phase for asymmetric Dark Matter.
We explore the relic abundance of asymmetric Dark Matter in shear--dominated universe in which it is assumed the universe is expanded anisotropically. The modified expansion rate leaves its imprint on the relic density of asymmetric Dark Matter particles if the asymmetric Dark Matter particles are decoupled in shear dominated era. We found the relic abundances for particle and anti--particle are increased. The particle and anti--particle abundances are almost in the same amount for the larger value of the shear factor $x_e$ which makes the indirect detection possible for asymmetric Dark Matter…
Asymmetric Dark Matter (ADM) models invoke a particle-antiparticle asymmetry, similar to the one observed in the Baryon sector, to account for the Dark Matter (DM) abundance. Both asymmetries are usually generated by the same mechanism and generally related, thus predicting DM masses around 5 GeV in order to obtain the correct density. The main challenge for successful models is to ensure efficient annihilation of the thermally produced symmetric component of such a light DM candidate without violating constraints from collider or direct searches. A common way to overcome this involves a light…
It has been argued that the existence of old neutron stars excludes the possibility of non-annihilating light bosonic dark matter, such as that arising in asymmetric dark matter scenarios. If non-annihilating dark matter is captured by neutron stars, the density will eventually become sufficient for black hole formation. However, the dynamics of collapse is highly sensitive to dark-matter self-interactions. Repulsive self-interactions, even if extremely weak, can prevent black hole formation. We argue that self-interactions will necessarily be present, and estimate their strength in representa…
We investigate the evolution of the abundance of the asymmetric thermal Dark Matter when its annihilation rate at chemical decoupling is boosted by the Sommerfeld enhancement. We perform the detailed analysis of the effect of $s$-- and $p$--wave Sommerfeld enhanced annihilation cross section on the relic abundances of asymmetric Dark Matter particle and anti--particle both in numerical and analytical way. The constraints on the coupling and asymmetric factor are given by using the observational data of the relic density of Dark Matter.
We propose a scenario that the Electroweak-Skyrmion, a solitonic object made of the Higgs field and the electroweak gauge fields, is identified as an asymmetric dark matter. In this scenario, the relic abundance of the dark matter is related to the baryon asymmetry of the Universe through a sphaleron-like process. We show that the observed ratio of dark matter abundance to the baryon asymmetry can be explained by this scenario with an appropriate choice of model parameters that is allowed by currently available experimental constraints.
Particles with TeV mass and strong self-interactions generically have the right annihilation cross section to explain an observed excess of cosmic electrons and positrons if the end-product of the annihilation is charged leptons. We present an explicit model of strongly-coupled TeV-scale dark matter whose relic abundance related to the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the observed universe. The B - L asymmetry of the standard model is transfered to the dark sector by an operator carrying standard model lepton number. Lepton number violation naturally induces dark matter particle-antiparticle osc…
We discuss the relic abundance of asymmetric Dark Matter particles in modified cosmological scenarios where the Hubble rate is changed with respect to the standard cosmological scenario. The modified Hubble rate leaves its imprint on the relic abundance of asymmetric Dark Matter particles if the asymmetric Dark Matter particles freeze--out in this era. For generality we parameterize the modification of the Hubble rate and then calculate the relic abundance of asymmetric Dark Matter particles and anti--particles. We found the abundances for the Dark Matter particles and anti--particles are enha…
We study the effect of the MeV-scale asymmetric dark matter annihilation on the effective number of neutrinos $N_{\rm eff}$ at the epoch of the big bang nucleosynthesis. If the asymmetric dark matter $χ$ couples more strongly to the neutrinos $ν$ than to the photons $γ$ and electrons $e^-$, $Γ_{χγ, χe} \ll Γ_{χν}$, or $Γ_{χγ, χe} \gg Γ_{χν}$, the lower mass limit on the asymmetric dark matter is about $18$ MeV for $N_{\rm eff}\simeq 3.0$.
Relic abundance of asymmetric Dark Matter particles in brane world cosmological scenario is investigated in this article. Hubble expansion rate is enhanced in brane world cosmology and it affects the relic abundance of asymmetric Dark Matter particles. We analyze how the relic abundance of asymmetric Dark Matter is changed in this model. We show that in such kind of nonstandard cosmological scenario, indirect detection of asymmetric Dark Matter is possible if the cross section is small enough which let the anti--particle abundance kept in the same amount with the particle. We show the indirect…
The inverse seesaw mechanism provides an attractive approach to generate small neutrino mass, which origins from a tiny $U(1)_L$ breaking. In this paper, we work in the supersymmetric version of this mechanism, where the singlet-like sneutrino could be an asymmetric dark matter (ADM) candidate in the maximally $U(1)_{L}$ symmetric limit. However, even a tiny $δm$, the mass splitting between sneutrino and anti-sneutrino as a result of the tiny $U(1)_{L}$ breaking effect, could lead to fast oscillation between sneutrino and anti-sneutrino and thus spoils the ADM scenario. We study the evolution …
Dark matter (DM) with sizeable self-interactions mediated by a light species offers a compelling explanation of the observed galactic substructure; furthermore, the direct coupling between DM and a light particle contributes to the DM annihilation in the early universe. If the DM abundance is due to a dark particle-antiparticle asymmetry, the DM annihilation cross-section can be arbitrarily large, and the coupling of DM to the light species can be significant. We consider the case of asymmetric DM interacting via a light (but not necessarily massless) Abelian gauge vector boson, a dark photon.…
The effect of the electroweak sphaleron transition in balance between baryon excess and and the excess of stable quarks of 4th generation is studied in this paper. Considering the non-violation of $SU(2)$ symmetry and the conservation of electroweak and new charges and quantum numbers of the new family, it makes possible sphaleron transitions between baryons, leptons and 4th family of leptons and quarks. In this paper, we have tried to established a possible definite relationship between the value and sign of the 4th family excess relative to baryon asymmetry. If $U$-type quarks are the lighte…
We study energy transport by asymmetric dark matter in the interiors of very low-mass stars and brown dwarfs. Our motivation is to explore astrophysical signatures of asymmetric dark matter, which otherwise may not be amenable to conventional indirect dark matter searches. In viable models, the additional cooling of very-low mass stellar cores can alter stellar properties. Asymmetric dark matter with mass 4 < Mx/GeV < 10 and a spin-dependent (spin-independent) cross sections of sigma \sim 10^{-37} cm^2 (sigma \sim 10^{-40} cm^2) can increase the minimum mass of main sequence hydrogen burning, …
Composite asymmetric dark matter scenarios naturally explain why the dark matter mass density is comparable with the visible matter mass density. Such scenarios generically require some entropy transfer mechanism below the composite scale; otherwise, their late-time cosmology is incompatible with observations. A tiny kinetic mixing between a dark photon and the visible photon is a promising example of the low-energy portal. In this paper, we demonstrate that grand unifications in the dark and the visible sectors explain the origin of the tiny kinetic mixing. We particularly consider an ultravi…
The maximal $U(1)_L$ supersymmetric inverse seesaw mechanism (M$L$SIS) provides a natural way to relate asymmetric dark matter (ADM) with neutrino physics. In this paper we point out that, M$L$SIS is a natural outcome if one dynamically realizes the inverse seesaw mechanism in the next-to minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM) via the dimension-five operator $(N)^2S^2/M_*$, with $S$ the NMSSM singlet developing TeV scale VEV; it slightly violates lepton number due to the suppression by the fundamental scale $M_*$, thus preserving $U(1)_L$ maximally. The resulting sneutrino is a distingu…
We show that both the baryon asymmetry of the Universe and the dark matter abundance can be explained within a single framework that makes use of maximally helical hypermagnetic fields produced during pseudoscalar inflation and the chiral anomaly in the Standard Model. We consider a minimal asymmetric dark matter model free from anomalies and constraints. We find that the observed baryon and the dark matter abundances are achieved for a wide range of inflationary parameters, and the dark matter mass ranges between 7-15 GeV. The novelty of our mechanism stems from the fact that the same source …
We study the dynamics of dark matter (DM) particle-antiparticle oscillations within the context of asymmetric DM. Oscillations arise due to small DM number-violating Majorana-type mass terms, and can lead to recoupling of annihilation after freeze-out and washout of the DM density. We derive the density matrix equations for DM oscillations and freeze-out from first principles using nonequilibrium field theory, and our results are qualitatively different than in previous studies. DM dynamics exhibits particle-vs-antiparticle "flavor" effects, depending on the interaction type, analogous to neut…
The relic abundance of asymmetric Dark Matter particles in the scalar--tensor model is analysized in this article. We extend the numeric and analytic calculation of the relic density of the asymmetric Dark Matter in the standard cosmological scenario to the nonstandard cosmological scenario. We focus on the scalar--tensor model. Hubble expansion rate is changed in the nonstandard cosmological scenario. This leaves its imprint on the relic density of Dark Matter particles. In this article we investigate to what extent the asymmetric Dark Matter particle's relic density is changed in the scalar-…
The recently introduced cosmic sum rules combine the data from PAMELA and Fermi-LAT cosmic ray experiments in a way that permits to neatly investigate whether the experimentally observed lepton excesses violate charge symmetry. One can in a simple way determine universal properties of the unknown component of the cosmic rays. Here we attribute a potential charge asymmetry to the dark sector. In particular we provide models of asymmetric dark matter able to produce charge asymmetric cosmic rays. We consider spin zero, spin one and spin one-half decaying dark matter candidates. We show that lept…
Generically, the asymmetric interactions in asymmetric dark matter (ADM) models lead to decaying DM. We show that, for ADM that carries nonzero baryon number, the continuous flavor symmetries that generate the flavor structure in the quark sector also imply a looser lower bound on the mass scale of the asymmetric mediators between the dark and visible sectors. The mediators for $B=2$ ADM that can produce a signal in the future indirect dark matter searches can thus also be searched for at the LHC. For two examples of the mediator models, with either the MFV or Froggatt-Nielsen flavor breaking …
We investigate the evolution of abundance of the asymmetric thermal Dark Matter when its annihilation rate at chemical decoupling is boosted by the Sommerfeld enhancement. Then we discuss the effect of kinetic decoupling on relic abundance of asymmetric Dark Matter when the interaction rate depends on the velocity. Usually the relic density of asymmetric Dark Matter is analyzed in the frame of chemical decoupling. Indeed after decoupling from the chemical equilibrium, asymmetric Dark Matter particles and anti--particles were still in kinetic equilibrium for a while. It has no effect on the cas…
We propose a scenario with a fermion dark matter, where the dark matter particle used to be the Dirac fermion, but it takes the form of the Majorana fermion at a late time. The relic number density of the dark matter is determined by the dark matter asymmetry generated through the same mechanism as leptogenesis when the dark matter was the Dirac fermion. After efficient dark matter annihilation processes have frozen out, a phase transition of a scalar field takes place and generates Majorana mass terms to turn the dark matter particle into the Majorana fermion. In order to address this scenari…
We consider possibly observable effects of asymmetric dark matter (ADM) in neutron stars. Since dark matter does not self-annihilate in the ADM scenario, dark matter accumulates in neutron stars, eventually reaching the Chandrasekhar limit and forming a black hole. We focus on the case of scalar ADM, where the constraints from Bose-Einstein condensation and subsequent black hole formation are most severe due to the absence of Fermi degeneracy pressure. We also note that in some portions of this constrained parameter space, non-trivial effects from Hawking radiation can modify our limits. We fi…
