Let $\mathcal{A}$ and $\mathcal{B}$ be standard operator algebras on Banach spaces $\mathcal{X}$ and $\mathcal{Y}$, respectively. In this paper, we show that every bijection completely preserving quadratic operators from $\mathcal{A}$ onto $\mathcal{B}$ is either an isomorphism or (in the complex case) a conjugate isomorphism.

Free Products and the Lack of State Preserving Approximations of Nuclear C*-algebras

Let $A$ be a homogeneous C*-algebra and $ϕ$ a state on $A.$ We show that if $ϕ$ satisfies a certain faithfulness condition, then there is a net of finite-rank, unital completely positive, $ϕ$-preserving maps on $A$ that tend to the identity pointwise. This combined with results of Ricard and Xu show that the reduced free product of homogeneous C*-algebras with respect to these states have the completely contractive approximation property. Grothendieck's inequality and completely correlation preserving functions -- a summary of recent results and an indication of related research problems

As part of the search for the value of the smallest upper bound of the best constant for the famous Grothendieck inequality, the so-called Grothendieck constant (a hard open problem - unsolved since 1953), we provide a further approach, primarily built on functions which map correlation matrices entrywise to correlation matrices by means of the Schur product, multivariate Gaussian analysis, copulas and inversion of suitable Taylor series. We summarise first results and point towards related open problems and topics for future research.

Interpolation problems by completely positive maps

Given commuting families of Hermitian matrices {A1, ..., Ak} and {B1, ...., Bk}, conditions for the existence of a completely positive map L, such that L(Aj) = Bj for j = 1, ...,k, are studied. Additional properties such as unital or / and trace preserving on the map ? are also considered. Connections of the study to dilation theory, matrix inequalities, unitary orbits, and quantum information science are mentioned.

Towards a Koopman theory for dynamical systems on completely regular spaces

The Koopman linearization of measure-preserving systems or topological dynamical systems on compact spaces has proven to be extremely useful. In this article we look at dynamics given by continuous semiflows on completely regular spaces which arise naturally from solutions of PDEs. We introduce Koopman semigroups for these semiflows on spaces of bounded continuous functions. As a first step we study their continuity properties as well as their infinitesimal generators. On pure quasi quantum quadratic operators of M_2(C)

In the present paper we study quasi quantum quadratic operators (q.q.o) acting on the algebra of $2\times 2$ matrices $M_2(C)$. It is known that a channel is called pure if it sends pure states to pure ones. In this papers, we introduce a weaker condition, called $q$-purity, than purity of the channel.
