We calculate the strong coupling constants among the doubly heavy spin-$ \frac{3}{2} $ baryons $Ξ^*_{QQ}$ and $Ω^*_{QQ}$, with $ Q $ and $ Q' $ being $ c$ or $ b $ quark, with light vector meson by means of the light-cone QCD sum rules. The matrix elements defining these vertices are described by four coupling constants $ g_1$, $ g_2$, $ g_3$, and $ g_4 $. The unwanted pollution coming from the doubly heavy spin-$ \frac{1}{2} $ baryons are removed by a special ordering of Dirac matrices and selection of appropriate Lorentz structures. The strong coupling constants are basic parameters that carry information on the nature of the strong interaction among hadronic multiplets. Investigation of these parameters may help physicists in the construction of the strong potentials among the doubly heavy baryons and light vector mesons. The values obtained for the strong coupling constants may also help experimental groups in analyses of the data produced at various hadron colliders.
Stimulated by the newly reported doubly-charmed tetraquark state $T_{cc}^+$ by LHCb, we carry out a systematic investigation of the $S$-wave interactions between the charmed meson ($D,\,D^{*}$) in $H$-doublet and the charmed meson ($D_{1},\,D_{2}^{*}$) in $T$-doublet by adopting the one-boson-exchange model. Both the $S$-$D$ wave mixing effect and the coupled channel effect are taken into account. By performing a quantitative calculation, we suggest that the $S$-wave $D^{*} D_{1}$ states with $I(J^{P})=0(0^{-},\,1^{-})$ and the $S$-wave $D^{*}D_{2}^{*}$ state with $I(J^{P})=0(1^{-})$ should be…
The strong coupling constants are basic quantities that carry information of the strong interactions among the baryon and meson multiplets as well as information on the natures and internal structures of the involved hadrons. These parameters enter to the transition matrix elements of various decays as main inputs and they play key roles in analyses of the experimental data including various hadrons. We determine the strong coupling constants among the doubly heavy spin-$ 3/2 $ baryons, $Ξ^*_{QQ'} $ and $Ω^*_{QQ'}$, and light pseudoscalar mesons, $π$, $K$ and $η$, using the light-cone QCD. The…
The doubly charmed $Ξ_{cc}^{++} (ccu)$ state is the only listed baryon in PDG, which was discovered in the experiment. The LHCb collaboration gets closer to discovering the second doubly charmed baryon $Ξ_{cc}^{+} (ccd)$, hence the investigation of the doubly charmed/bottom baryons from many aspects is of great importance that may help us not only get valuable knowledge on the nature of the newly discovered states, but also in the search for other members of the doubly heavy baryons predicted by the quark model. In this context, we investigate the strong coupling constants among the $Ξ_{cc}^{+…
We have systematically investigated the magnetic moments of spin-$\frac{1}{2}$ doubly charmed baryons in the framework of the heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory. In this paper, one loop corrections with intermediate spin-$\frac{1}{2}$ and spin-$\frac{3}{2}$ doubly charmed baryon states are considered. The numerical results are calculated to next-to-leading order: $μ_{Ξ^{++}_{cc}}=0.35μ_{N}$, $μ_{Ξ^{+}_{cc}}=0.62μ_{N}$, $μ_{Ω^{+}_{cc}}=0.41μ_{N}$. Our results may be useful for future experiment and chiral extrapolation of the lattice QCD.
The strong coupling constants of hadronic multiplets are fundamental parameters which carry information of the strong interactions among participating particles. These parameters can help us construct the hadron-hadron strong potential and gain information about the structure of the involved hadrons. Motivated by the recent observation of the doubly charmed $Ξ_{cc}$ state by LHCb, we determine the strong coupling constants among the doubly heavy spin-1/2 baryons, $ Ξ^{(\prime)}_{QQ^\prime }$, $ Ω^{(\prime)}_{QQ^\prime}$ and light pseudoscalar mesons, $ π$, $ K $, $η$ and $ η^\prime $ within th…
We report on the recent progress on the computation of the doubly heavy baryon spectrum in effective field theory. The effective field theory is built upon the heavy-quark mass and adiabatic expansions. The potentials can be expressed as NRQCD Wilson loops with operator insertions. These are nonperturbative objects and so far only the one corresponding to the static potential has been computed with lattice QCD. We review the proposal for a parametrization of the potentials based in an interpolation between the short- and long-distance regimes. The long-distance description is obtained with a n…
We calculate the weak decay form factors of doubly-heavy baryons using three-point QCD sum rules. The Cutkosky rules are used to derive the double dispersion relations. We include perturbative contributions and condensation contributions up to dimension five, and point out that the perturbative contributions and condensates with lowest dimensions dominate. An estimate of part of gluon-gluon condensates show that it plays a less important role. With these form factors at hand, we present a phenomenological study of semileptonic decays. The future experimental facilities can test these predictio…
In the heavy-quark limit, the two heavy quarks in a doubly heavy baryon or a doubly heavy tetraquark are bound by their color-Coulomb potential into a compact diquark. The doubly heavy hadrons are related by the approximate heavy-quark--diquark symmetry of QCD to the heavy hadrons obtained by replacing the heavy diquark by a heavy antiquark. Effective field theories can be used to expand the masses of singly heavy hadrons and doubly heavy hadrons in inverse powers of the heavy quark masses. The coefficients in the expansions for doubly heavy tetraquarks can be determined from those for heavy m…
Inspired by the discovery of the spin-$\frac{1}{2}$ doubly charmed baryon $Ξ_{cc}^{++}$ and the subsequent theoretical studies of its magnetic moments, we study the magnetic moments of its spin-$\frac{3}{2}$ heavy quark spin symmetry counterparts, up to the next-to-leading order in covariant baryon chiral perturbation theory (BChPT) with the extended-on-mass-shell renormalization (EOMS) scheme. With the tree-level contributions fixed by the quark model while the two low energy constants (LECs) $C$ and $H$ controlling the loop contributions determined in two ways: the quark model (case 1) and l…
Using the most general form of the interpolating current for baryons, the strong electric and magnetic coupling constants of light vector mesons $ ρ$ and $ K^* $ with doubly heavy baryons are computed within the light-cone sum rules. We consider 2- and 3-particle distribution amplitudes of the aforementioned vector mesons. The obtained results can be useful in the analysis of experimental data on the properties of doubly heavy baryons conducted at LHC.
The study of the properties of doubly heavy baryons represents a promising area in particle physics. It can provide us with information about Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix elements and the low energy dynamics of QCD. They have a very rich phenomenology. The investigation of weak, electromagnetic, and strong decays has vital importance for understanding the dynamics of doubly heavy baryons. The main ingredients of such studies are the spectroscopic parameters, the strong coupling constants, and the transition form factors. For calculations of these quantities, non-perturbative methods …
