In this work, we study some special properties of smoothness concerning to the initial value problem associated with the Zakharov-Kuznetsov-(ZK) equation in the $n-$ dimensional setting, $n\geq 2.$
It is known that the solutions of the ZK equation in the $2d$ and $3d$ cases verify special regularity properties. More precisely, the regularity of the initial data on a family of half-spaces propagates with infinite speed. Our objective in this work is to extend this analysis to the case in that the regularity of the initial data is measured on a fractional scale. To describe this phenomenon we present new localization formulas that allow us to portray the regularity of the solution on a certain class of subsets of the euclidean space.

The main purpose here is the study of dispersive blow-up for solutions of the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation. Dispersive blow-up refers to point singularities due to the focusing of short or long waves. We will construct initial data such that solutions of the linear problem present this kind of singularities. Then we show that the corresponding solutions of the nonlinear problem present dispersive blow-up inherited from the linear component part of the equation. Similar results are obtained for the generalized Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation.

An initial-boundary value problem for the n-dimensional ($n$ is a natural number from the interval [2,7]) Kuramoto-Sivashinsky-Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation posed on smooth bounded domains in $\mathbb{R}^n$ was considered. Spectral properties of a stationary operator are studied in order to show that the evolution problem posed on a bounded rectangle has no critical restrictions on its size. An initial-boundary value problem for the 2D Zakharov-Kuznetsov-Burgers equation posed on a channel-type strip was considered. The existence and uniqueness results for regular and weak solutions in weighted spaces as well as exponential decay of small solutions without restrictions on the width of a strip were proven both for regular solutions in an elevated norm and for weak solutions in the $L^2$-norm.
In this paper we study the initial-value problem associated with the Benjamin-Ono-Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation. Such equation appears as a two-dimensional generalization of the Benjamin-Ono equation when transverse effects are included via weak dispersion of Zakharov-Kuznetsov type. We prove that the initial-value problem is locally well-posed in the usual $L^2(\R^2)$-based Sobolev spaces $H^{s}(\R^2)$, $s>11/8$, and in some weighted Sobolev spaces. To obtain our results, most of the arguments are accomplished taking into account the ones for the Benjamin-Ono equation.
In this note we study the generalized 2D Zakharov-Kuznetsov equations $\partial_tu+Δ\partial_xu+u^k\partial_xu=0$ for $k\ge 2$. By an iterative method we prove the local well-posedness of these equations in the Sobolev spaces $H^s(\mathbb{R}^2)$ for $s>1/4$ if $k=2$, $s>5/12$ if $k=3$ and $s>1-2/k$ if $k\ge 4$.
We consider in this paper the rigorous justification of the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation from the Euler-Poisson system for uniformly magnetized plasmas. We first provide a proof of the local well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for the aforementioned system in dimensions two and three. Then we prove that the long-wave small-amplitude limit is described by the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation. This is done first in the case of cold plasma; we then show how to extend this result in presence of the isothermal pressure term with uniform estimates when this latter goes to zero.

We prove that if the difference of two sufficiently smooth solutions of the three-dimensional Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation $$\partial_{t}u+\partial_{x}\triangle u+u\partial_{x}u=0 \text{,}\quad (x,y,z)\in\mathbb R^3, \;t\in[0,1],$$ decays as $e^{-a(x^2+y^2+z^2)^{3/4}}$ at two different times, for some $a>0$ large enough, then both solutions coincide.
We consider the Cauchy problem associated with the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation, posed on $\mathbb{T}^2$. We prove the local well-posedness for given data in $H^s(\mathbb{T}^2)$ whenever $s>5/3$. More importantly, we prove that this equation is of quasi-linear type for initial data in any Sobolev space on the torus, in sharp contrast with its semi-linear character in the $\mathbb{R}^2$ and $\mathbb{R}\times \mathbb{T}$ settings.
In this paper, we present analytic-approximate solution of a fractional Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation by means of perturbation-iteration algorithm (PIA) and residual power series method (RSPM). Basic definitions of fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. Several examples are given and the results are compared to exact solutions. The results show that both methods are competitive, effective, convenient and simple to use.

In this paper, we investigate the instability of one-dimensionally stable periodic traveling wave solutions of the generalized Korteweg-de Vries equation to long wavelength transverse perturbations in the generalized Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation in two space dimensions. We study in this article the stochastic Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation driven by a multiplicative noise. We establish, in space dimensions two and three the global existence of martingale solutions, and in space dimension two the global pathwise uniqueness and the existence of pathwise solutions. New methods are employed in the passage to the limit on a special type of boundary conditions and in the verification of the pathwise uniqueness of martingale solutions with a lack of regularity, where both difficulties arise due to the partly hyperbolic feature of the model.
This paper is concerned with the Cauchy problem of the $2$D Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation. We prove bilinear estimates which imply local in time well-posedness in the Sobolev space $H^s({\mathbb{R}}^2)$ for $s > -1/4$, and these are optimal up to the endpoint. We utilize the nonlinear version of the classical Loomis-Whitney inequality and develop an almost orthogonal decomposition of the set of resonant frequencies. As a corollary, we obtain global well-posedness in $L^2({\mathbb{R}}^2)$.
The Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation in spatial dimension $d\geq 5$ is considered. We prove the local well-posedness for the two-dimensional Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation in $H^s(\mathbb{R}^2)$, for $s\in [1,2]$, on the background of an $L^\infty(\mathbb{R}^3)$-function $Ψ(t,x,y)$, with $Ψ(t,x,y)$ satisfying some natural extra conditions. This result not only gives us a framework to solve the ZK equation around a Kink, for example, but also around a periodic solution, that is, to consider localized non-periodic perturbations of periodic solutions. Additionally, we show the global well-posedness in the energy space $H^1(\mathbb{R}^2)$.

In this paper, we construct center stable manifolds around unstable line solitary waves of the Zakharov--Kuznetsov equation on two dimensional cylindrical spaces with $2πL$ period. In the previous paper, center stable manifolds around unstable line solitary waves have been constructed without critical speed $c =4n^2/5L^2$ for positive integer $n>1$. Since the linearized operator around line solitary waves with critical speed is degenerate, we prove the stability condition of the center stable manifold for critical speed by applying to the estimate of 4th order term of a Lyapunov function.
We consider the modified Zakharov-Kuznetsov (mZK) equation in two space dimensions in both focusing and defocusing cases. Using the $I$-method, we prove the global well-posedness of the $H^s$ solutions for $s>\frac{3}{4}$ for any data in the defocusing case and under the assumption that the mass of the initial data is less than the mass of the ground state solution of $Δφ- φ+ φ^3 = 0$ in the focusing case. This improves the global well-posedness result of Linares and Pastor [20].
In this work we shall study the well-posedness and ill-posedness of the Cauchy problem associated to the equation \begin{equation*} u_{t}+a(u^{n})_{x}+(b\mathscr{H} u_{t}+u_{yy})_{x}=0, \end{equation*} in anisotropic weigthed Sobolev spaces. In particular, we examine the unique continuation property for solutions, of this, with polynomial decay.
We consider the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation (ZK) in space dimension 2. Solutions u with initial data u\_0 $\in$ H s are known to be global if s $\ge$ 1. We prove that for any integer s $\ge$ 2, u(t) H s grows at most polynomially in t for large times t. This result is related to wave turbulence and how a solution of (ZK) can move energy to high frequencies. It is inspired by analoguous results by Staffilani on the non linear Schr{ö}dinger Korteweg-de-Vries equation. The main ingredients are adequate bilinear estimates in the context of Bourgain's spaces.

We consider the generalized two-dimensional Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation $u_t+\partial_x Δu+\partial_x(u^{k+1})=0$, where $k\geq3$ is an integer number. For $k\geq8$ we prove local well-posedness in the $L^2$-based Sobolev spaces $H^s(\mathbb{R}^2)$, where $s$ is greater than the critical scaling index $s_k=1-2/k$. For $k\geq 3$ we also establish a sharp criteria to obtain global $H^1(\R^2)$ solutions. A nonlinear scattering result in $H^1(\R^2)$ is also established assuming the initial data is small and belongs to a suitable Lebesgue space.
