Spectrum and Analytic Functional Calculus for Clifford Operators via Stem Functions

The main purpose of this work is the construction of an analytic functional calculus for Clifford operators, which are operators acting on certain modules over Clifford algebras. Unlike in some preceding works by other authors, we use a spectrum defined in the complex plane, and certain stem functions, analytic in neighborhoods of such a spectrum. The replacement of the slice regular functions, having values in a Clifford algebra, by analytic stem functions becomes possible because of an isomorphism induced by a Cauchy type transform, whose existence is proved in the first part of this work.

The spectral theorem for normal operators on a Clifford module

In this paper, using the recently discovered notion of the $S$-spectrum, we prove the spectral theorem for a bounded or unbounded normal operator on a Clifford module (i.e., a two-sided Hilbert module over a Clifford algebra based on units that all square to be $-1$). The spectral theory on the $S$-spectrum was born out of the need to give quaternionic quantum mechanics (formulated by Birkhoff and von Neumann) a precise mathematical foundation. The $\mathcal{F}$-resolvent equation and Riesz projectors for the $\mathcal{F}$-functional calculus

The Fueter-Sce-Qian mapping theorem is a two steps procedure to extend holomorphic functions of one complex variable to quaternionic or Clifford algebra-valued functions in the kernel of a suitable generalized Cauchy-Riemann operator. The Clifford-Fourier transform $\mathcal{F}_O$ and monogenic extensions

Several versions of the Fourier transform have been formulated in the framework of Clifford algebra. We present a (Clifford-Fourier) transform, constructed using the geometric properties of Clifford algebra. We show the corresponding results of operational calculus. We obtain a technique to construct monogenic extensions of a certain type of continuous functions, and versions of the Paley-Wiener theorems are formulated.

Monogenic Calculus as an Intertwining Operator

We revise a monogenic calculus for several non-commuting operators, which is defined through group representations. Instead of an algebraic homomorphism we use group covariance. The related notion of joint spectrum and spectral mapping theorem are discussed. The construction is illustrated by a simple example of calculus and joint spectrum of two non-commuting selfadjoint (n\times n) matrices. Quaternionic Regularity via Analytic Functional Calculus

Denoting by $\mathbb{M}$ the complexification of the quaternionic algebra $\mathbb{H}$, we characterize the family of those $\mathbb{M}$-valued functions, defined on subsets of $\H$, whose values are actually quaternions, using an intrinsic approach. In particular, we show that the slice quaternionic regularity can be characterized via a Cauchy type transform acting on the space of analytic $\mathbb{M}$-valued stem functions.
