We consider an extension of the standard electroweak model with three Higgs doublets and global $B-L$ and $\mathbb{Z}_2$ symmetries. Two of the scalar doublets are inert due to the $\mathbb{Z}_2$ symmetry. We calculated all the mass spectra in the scalar and lepton sectors and accommodate the leptonic mixing matrix as well. We also include an analysis of the scalar sector, showing that the potential is limited from below, and we obtain the masses of the scalar sector. Furthermore we consider the effects of the model on the anaomalous magnetic dipole of charged leptons and the $μ\to eγ$ decay. We also present the SUSY version of the model with global $B-L$.
We consider an Supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model with some extra Higgs doublets and a global $(B - L)$, where $B$ and $L$ are the usual baryonic and lepton number respectivelly, and ${\cal Z}_{3} \otimes {\cal Z}^{\prime}_{3}$ symmetries of the non-SUSY model presented at [1]..
Electrons emitted in the radiative decay mu^- -> e^- anti-nu_e nu_mu gamma have a significant probability of being right-handed, even in the limit m_e -> 0. Such ``wrong-helicity'' electrons, arising from helicity-flip bremsstrahlung, contribute an amount alpha/(4 pi) Gamma_0 to the muon decay width (Gamma_0 = G_F^2 m^5_mu/ (192 pi^3)). We use the helicity-flip splitting function D_hf (z) of Falk and Sehgal (Phys. Lett. B 325, 509 (1994)) to obtain the spectrum of the right-handed electrons and the photons that accompany them. For a minimum photon energy E_gamma = 10 MeV (20 MeV), approximatel…
In this research, we propose a modified version of the 3-3-1 model, incorporating a type I+II seesaw mechanism and Z4 discrete symmetry, as a framework for investigating lepton flavor-violating (LFV) decays. This model successfully yields the left-handed neutrinos mass square difference in the eV scale, with specific values of mass square differences; and generates mixing angles that align with experimental data. Furthermore, we develop SARAH and SPheno algorithms tailored for our modified model, enabling us to estimate the magnitude of LFV observables. Our calculations indicate favorable resu…
The radiative neutrino mass model can relate neutrino masses and dark matter at a TeV scale. If we apply this model to thermal leptogenesis, we need to consider resonant leptogenesis at that scale. It requires both finely degenerate masses for the right-handed neutrinos and a tiny neutrino Yukawa coupling. We propose an extension of the model with a U(1) gauge symmetry, in which these conditions are shown to be simultaneously realized through a TeV scale symmetry breaking. Moreover, this extension can bring about a small quartic scalar coupling between the Higgs doublet scalar and an inert dou…
We implement a schizophrenic scenario for the active neutrinos in a model in which there are also exotic right-handed neutrinos making a model with a local U(1)_(B-L) anomaly free. Two of right-handed neutrinos carry B-L=-4 while the third one carries B-L=5.
The model proposed by A. Zee (1986) and K.S. Babu (1988) is a simple radiative seesaw model, in which tiny neutrino masses are generated at the two-loop level. We investigate a supersymmetric extension of the Zee-Babu model under R-parity conservation. The lightest superpartner particle can then be a dark matter candidate. We find that the neutrino data can be reproduced with satisfying current data from lepton flavour violation even in the scenario where not all the superpartner particles are heavy. Phenomenology at the Large Hadron Collider is also discussed.
In this paper a scenario admitting the participation of the exotic scalar coupling of the right-handed neutrinos in addition to the standard vector and axial couplings of the left-handed neutrinos in the weak interactions is considered. The research is based on the low-energy $(ν_μ e^{-})$ and $(ν_{e} e^{-})$ scattering processes. The main goal is to show how the presence of the right-handed neutrinos in the above processes changes the laboratory differential cross section in relation to the Standard Model prediction. Both processes are studied at the level of the four-fermion point interactio…
A right-handed stop not much heavier or even lighter than the Z boson has today desirable phenomenological consequences. We study how it can result within the usual radiative scenario of electroweak symmetry breaking. A restriction on the gaugino mass parameters, M_2 < 0.3 m_10, arises if soft terms satisfy relations suggested by unification theories. Moreover, requiring to get a light stop without unnatural fine-tunings below the per-cent level, we obtain another more interesting upper bound on the chargino mass, M_chargino < M_Z, and we derive interesting conclusions about the masses of the …
We explore leptogenesis within the E6 inspired U(1) extension of the MSSM in which exact custodial symmetry forbids tree-level flavour-changing transitions and the most dangerous baryon and lepton number violating operators. This supersymmetric (SUSY) model involves extra exotic matter beyond the MSSM. In the simplest phenomenologically viable scenarios the lightest exotic fermions are neutral and stable. These states should be substantially lighter than 1 eV forming hot dark matter in the Universe. The low-energy effective Lagrangian of the SUSY model under consideration possesses an approxim…
In this paper a scenario admitting the participation of the exotic right-handed scalar $S_{R}$ coupling in addition to the standard left-handed $(V, A)_{L}$ couplings in the low energy neutrino-electron scattering is considered. The main goal is to show how the presence of the right-handed neutrinos in the $(νe)$ scattering changes the laboratory differential cross section in relation to the Standard Model prediction. We consider the $(νe)$ process at the level of the four-fermion point interaction. Muon-neutrinos are assumed to be massive and to be polarized Dirac fermions. In the laboratory …
The radiative decay of neutrino, such as (\bar{ν_τ}: \longrightarrow: ν_μ+γ), in the minimal supersymmetric standard model with right-handed neutrinos (MSSMRN) and in the (SU(5)) grand unified theory with right-handed neutrinos((SU(5)RN))model is examined. In these models, the transition magnetic moment of neutrino is directly proportional to the neutrino mass. For different values on SUSY parameters (compatible with the relic density) and for large mixing angle solution to the atmospheric neutrino problem, the transition magnetic moment can be a few times greater than,or comparable to,the value of…
We propose a new model for naturally light Dirac neutrinos and explain the baryon asymmetry of the universe through neutrinogenesis. We extend the standard model with a real singlet scalar, a heavy singlet Dirac fermion and a heavy doublet scalar besides three right-handed neutrinos, respecting lepton number conservation and a Z_2 symmetry. The neutrinos acquire small Dirac masses due to the suppression of the weak scale over the heavy mass scale. As a key feature of our construction, once the heavy Dirac fermion and doublet scalar go out of equilibrium, their decays induce the CP asymmetry fr…
We discuss a radiative type-I seesaw. In these models, the radiative generation of Dirac neutrino masses allows to explain the smallness of the observed neutrino mass scale for rather light right-handed neutrino masses in a type-I seesaw. We first present the general idea in a model independent way. This allows us to estimate the typical scale of right-handed neutrino mass as a function of the number of loops. We then present two example models, one at one-loop and another one at two-loop, in which we discuss neutrino masses and lepton flavour violating constraints in more detail. For the two-…
Radiative generation of realistic mixing in neutrino sector is studied at one-loop level in a scotogenic $A4\times Z_2$ symmetric framework. A scheme of obtaining non-zero $θ_{13}$ through small mass splitting in right-handed neutrino sector is proposed. The model consists of three right-handed neutrinos, two of which were required to be degenerate in masses to yield the common structure of the left-handed neutrino mass matrix that corresponds to $θ_{13}=0$, $θ_{23}=π/4$ and any $θ_{12}^0$ in particular the choices specific to the Tribimaximal (TBM), Bimaximal (BM) and Golden Ratio (GR) mixing…
We study a minimal one-loop radiative mechanism for generating small Majorana neutrino masses in inverse seesaw extensions of the Standard Model with two singlet fermions per family. The new feature of this radiative mechanism is that the one-loop induced left-handed neutrino mass matrix is directly proportional to the Majorana mass matrix of the right-handed neutrinos. This is a very economical scenario without necessitating the existence of non-standard scalar or gauge fields.
Using the dynamical diquark model, we calculate the electric-dipole radiative decay widths to $X(3872)$ of the lightest negative-parity exotic candidates, including the four $I=0$, $J^{PC} \! = \! 1^{--}$ ("$Y$") states. The $O$(100--1000 keV) values obtained test the hypothesis of a common substructure shared by all of these states. We also calculate the magnetic-dipole radiative decay width for $Z_c(4020)^0 \! \to \! γX(3872)$, and find it to be rather smaller ($<$~10 keV) than its predicted value in molecular models.
We investigate a simple model of neutrino mass based on SU(3)_C X SU(3)_L X U(1)_X gauge unification. The Yukawa coupling of the model has automatic lepton-number symmetry which is broken only by the self-couplings of the Higgs boson. At tree level, neutrino spectrum contains three Dirac fermions, one massless and two degenerate in mass. At the two loop-level, neutrinos obtain Majorana masses and correct the tree-level result which naturally gives rise to an inverted hierarchy mass pattern and interesting mixing which can fit the current data with minor fine-tuning. In another scenarios, one c…
In this paper a scenario with the participation of the exotic scalar S, tensor T and pseudoscalar couplings of the right-handed neutrinos in addition to the standard vector V, axial A couplings of the left-handed neutrinos in the low-energy $(ν_μe^{-})$ and $(ν_{e}e^{-})$ scattering processes is considered. Neutrinos are assumed to be massive Dirac fermions and to be polarized. Both reactions are studied at the level of the four-fermion point interaction. The main goal is to show that the physical consequence of the presence of the right-handed neutrinos is an appearance of the azimuthal asymm…
The production and decay rate of massive sterile neutrinos at finite temperature receives next-to-leading order corrections from the gauge interactions of lepton and Higgs doublets. Using the Closed-Time-Path approach, we demonstrate that the perturbatively obtained inclusive rate is finite. For this purpose, we show that soft, collinear and Bose divergences cancel when adding the tree-level rates from 1<->3 and 2<->2 processes to vertex and wave-function corrections to 1<->2 processes. These results hold for a general momentum of the sterile neutrino with respect to the plasma frame. Moreover…
An anomaly-free U(1) charge $Q'$ has recently been identified within the group E$_6$ for which the familiar leptons (the left- and right-handed electron and the left-handed neutrino) have $Q' = 0$. It is pointed out that the $Q'$ charges of several {\it exotic} leptons within E$_6$ matter multiplets are quite large, leading to the prediction that half of the decays of the so-called ``leptophobic'' $Z'$ bosons coupling to $Q'$ are to these exotic leptons. Other large $Q'$ charges include those of standard up-type quarks and exotic down-type quarks. Substantial forward-backward asymmetries are e…
In this work we will extend the inert-doublet model (IDM) by adding a new $U(1)_{F}$ gauge symmetry to it, under which, a $Z_{2}$ even scalar ($ϕ_{2}$) and $Z_{2}$ odd right handed component of two exotic charged leptons $(F_{eR},\ F_{μR})$, are charged. We also add one $Z_{2}$ even real scalar ($ϕ_{1}$) and one complex scalar ($ϕ$), three neutral Majorana right handed fermions ($N_{1},\ N_{2},\ N_{3}$), two left handed components of the exotic charged leptons $(F_{eL},\ F_{μL})$ as well as $F_τ$ are all odd under the $Z_{2}$, all of which are not charged under the $U(1)_{F}$. With these new p…
We perform a renormalisation group (RG) analysis of neutrino masses and mixing angles in the see-saw mechanism in the minimal supersymmetric standard model with three right-handed neutrinos, including the effects of the heavy neutrino thresholds. We focus on the case that one of the right-handed neutrinos provides the dominant contribution to the 23 block of the light Majorana matrix, causing its determinant to approximately vanish and giving an automatic neutrino mass hierarchy, so called single right-handed neutrino dominance which may arise from a U(1) family symmetry. In these models radia…
We construct an $SU(3)_L \times U(1)_N$ gauge model based on an $S_{2L}$ permutation symmetry for left-handed $μ$ and $τ$ families, which provides the almost maximal atmospheric neutrino mixing and the large solar neutrino mixing of the LMA type. Neutrinos acquire one-loop radiative masses induced by the radiative mechanism of the Zee type as well as tree level masses induced by the type II seesaw mechanism utilizing interactions of lepton triplets with an SU(3)-sextet scalar. The atmospheric neutrino mixing controlled by the tree-level and radiative masses turns out to be almost maximal owing…
We discuss non-perturbative corrections to the neutrino sector, in the context of a D-brane Pati-Salam-like model, that can be obtained as a simple alternative to $SO(10)$ GUT's in theories with open and unoriented strings. In such D-brane models, exotic stringy instantons can correct the right-handed neutrino mass matrix in a calculable way, thus affecting mass hierarchies and modifying the see-saw mechanism to what we name exotic see-saw. For a wide range of parameters, a compact spectrum of right-handed neutrino masses can occur that gives rise to a predictive scenario for low energy observ…
There exist tree-level generalizations of the Type-I and Type-III seesaw mechanisms that realize neutrino mass via low-energy effective operators with d>5. However, these generalizations also give radiative masses that can dominate the seesaw masses in regions of parameter space --- i.e. they are not purely seesaw models, nor are they purely radiative models, but instead they are something in between. A recent work detailed the remaining minimal models of this type. Here we study the remaining model with d=9 and investigate the collider phenomenology of the exotic quadruplet fermions it predic…
A systematic approach to long-distance effects in exclusive radiative weak $B$ decays is presented, based on a combination of the heavy quark limit with perturbative QCD. The dominant long-distance effects, connected with weak annihilation and $W$-exchange topologies, can be computed in a model-independent way using experimental data on $B$ radiative leptonic decays. Nonfactorizable corrections vanish in the chiral limit and to leading twist. The left-handed photon amplitudes are shown to be enhanced relative to the right-handed ones, both in the long- and short-distance parts of the $\bar B$ …
In the Standard Model (SM) the photon in radiative $\bar B^0$ and $\bar B_s$ decays is predominantly left-handed. Thus, mixing induced CP asymmetries in $b\to sγ$ and $b\to dγ$ are suppressed by $m_s/m_b$ and $m_d/m_b$, respectively, and are very small. In many extensions of the SM, such as the left-right symmetric model (LRSM), SU(2)xU(1) models with exotic fermions and SUSY, the amplitude of right-handed photons grows proportional to the virtual heavy fermion mass, which can lead to large asymmetries. As an example, in the LRSM, asymmetries larger than 50% are possible even when radiative de…
We consider the dark matter model with radiative neutrino mass generation where the Standard Model is extended with three right-handed singlet neutrinos ($N_1$, $N_2$ and $N_3$) and one additional SU(2)$_L$ doublet scalar $η$. One of the right-handed neutrinos ($N_1$), being lightest among them, is a leptophilic fermionic dark matter candidate whose stability is ensured by the imposed $\mathbb{Z}_2$ symmetry on this model. The second lightest right-handed neutrino ($N_2$) is assumed to be nearly degenerated with the lightest one enhancing the co-annihilation between them. The effective interac…
Recently the issue of radiative corrections to leptogenesis has been raised. Considering the "strong washout" regime, in which OPE-techniques permit to streamline the setup, we report the thermal self-energy matrix of heavy right-handed neutrinos at NLO (resummed 2-loop level) in Standard Model couplings. The renormalized expression describes flavour transitions and "inclusive" decays of chemically decoupled right-handed neutrinos. Although CP-violation is not addressed, the result may find use in existing leptogenesis frameworks.
We discuss phenomenology of the radiative seesaw model in which spontaneous breaking of the U(1)$_{B-L}$ gauge symmetry at the TeV scale gives the common origin for masses of neutrinos and dark matter (Kanemura et al., 2012). In this model, the stability of dark matter is realized by the global U(1)$_{DM}$ symmetry which arises by the B$-$L charge assignment. Right-handed neutrinos obtain TeV scale Majorana masses at the tree level. Dirac masses of neutrinos are generated via one-loop diagrams. Consequently, tiny neutrino masses are generated at the two-loop level by the seesaw mechanism. This…
Radiative neutrino mass models have interesting features, which make it possible to relate neutrino masses to the existence of dark matter. However, the explanation of the baryon number asymmetry in the universe seems to be generally difficult as long as we suppose leptogenesis based on the decay of thermal right-handed neutrinos. Since right-handed neutrinos are assumed to have masses of O(1) TeV in these models, they are too small to generate the sufficient lepton number asymmetry. Here we consider Affleck-Dine leptogenesis in a radiative neutrino mass model by using a famous flat direction …
We investigate the scenario of resonant thermal leptogenesis, in which the leptonic asymmetries are generated through renormalization group corrections induced at the leptogenesis scale. In the framework of the standard model extended by three right-handed heavy Majorana neutrinos with masses M1 = M2 << M3 at some high scale, we show that the mass splitting and CP-violating effects induced by renormalization group corrections can lead to values of the CP asymmetries large enough for a successful leptogenesis. In this scenario, the low-energy neutrino oscillation data can also be easily accommo…
The presence of small neutrino masses and flavour mixings can be accounted for naturally in various models about extensions of the standard model, particularly in the seesaw mechanism models. In this work, we present a minimally extended seesaw framework with two right-handed neutrinos, where the active neutrino masses are derived in the radiative regime. Using the framework it can be shown that within certain mass limits, the light neutrino mass term can approach a form that is similar to its form under the type-I seesaw mechanism. Apart from this, we show that the decay width of right-handed…
In the first part of this thesis, we consider an extension to the Standard Model composed by a Massive Vector Doublet under SU(2)L and a Left-handed Heavy Neutral Lepton. We study the production of these exotic leptons with a Same Flavor Opposite Sign standard lepton pair, and jets. We establish limits on the parameter space considering previous searches in this final state. After the limit definition, we study a modification on the event selection criteria in order to increase the possibility of probing these new particles at the Large Hadron Collider. Finally, we perform a parameter scan con…
Non-zero neutrino mass and dark matter cast a shadow over the success of the Standard Model (SM) of Particle Physics. The most straightforward extension of the SM to explain these two phenomena is the Scotogenic model, where the SM particle spectrum extends with three isospin singlet right-handed neutrinos and one doublet scalar while all of these being odd under $Z_2$ symmetry. In this work, we have considered the lightest right-handed neutrino as the dark matter candidate and freeze-out mechanism for producing observed dark matter relic density. The observed dark matter relic density, neutri…
Extending the standard model with three right-handed neutrinos ($N_k$) and a second Higgs doublet ($η$), odd under the discrete parity symmetry $Z_2$, Majorana neutrino masses can be generated at 1-loop order. In the resulting model, the lightest stable particle, either a boson or a fermion, might be a dark matter candidate. Here we assume a specific mass spectrum ($M_1\ll M_2 < M_3 < m_η$) and derive its consequences for dark matter and collider phenomenology. We show that (i) the lightest right-handed neutrino is a warm dark matter particle that can give a $\sim$10% contribution to the dark …
We systematically compute and discuss meson and muon polarized radiative decays. Doubly differential distributions in terms of momenta and helicities of the final lepton and photon are explicitly computed. The undergoing dynamics giving rise to lepton and photon polarizations is examined and analyzed in the soft and hard region of momenta. The particular configurations made by right-handed leptons with accompanying photons are investigated and interpreted as a manifestation of the axial anomaly. The photon polarization asymmetry is evaluated. Finiteness of polarized amplitudes against infrared…
The muon-to-electron conversion in nuclei like aluminum, titanium and gold is studied in the context of a class of mirror fermion model with non-sterile right-handed neutrinos having mass at the electroweak scale. At the limit of zero momentum transfer and large mirror lepton masses, we derive a simple formula to relate the conversion rate with the on-shell radiative decay rate of muon into electron. Current experimental limits (SINDRUM II) and projected sensitivities (Mu2e, COMET and PRISM) for the muon-to-electron conversion rates in various nuclei and latest limit from MEG for the radiative…
We consider a U(1)' gauge symmetry acting on three generations of right-handed neutrinos. The U(1)' symmetry is broken at the TeV scale and its remnant discrete symmetry makes one of the right-handed neutrinos stable. As a natural consequence of the anomaly cancellation, the neutrino mass matrix consists of a combination of Type I (TeV scale) seesaw and radiative correction. The stable right-handed neutrino communicates with the Standard Model via s-channel exchange of the Higgs field and the U(1)' gauge boson, so that the observed relic density for dark matter is obtained in a wide range of t…
Horizontal flavor symmetries can drastically suppress Dirac neutrino masses well below those of the corresponding charged leptons. We show that models can be constructed where the light neutrino mass eigenvalues are small enough to give the MSW solution to the solar neutrino problem, with a right-handed neutrino scale no larger than a TeV. We present a model of this type where the right-handed neutrino scale is generated by the spontaneous breakdown of gauged U(1)$_{B-L}$, in a radiative breaking scenario driven by the right-handed neutrino Yukawa couplings. The model allows for a solution to …
We study the possibility of right-handed neutrino dark matter (DM) in gauged $U(1)_{B-L} \times Z_2$ extension of the standard model augmented by an additional scalar doublet, being odd under the $Z_2$ symmetry, to give rise the scotogenic scenario of radiative neutrino masses. Due to lepton portal interactions, the right-handed neutrino DM can have additional co-annihilation channels apart from the usual annihilations through $Z_{B-L}$ which give rise to much more allowed mass of DM from relic abundance criteria, even away from the resonance region like $M_{\rm DM} \approx M_{Z_{B-L}}/2$. Thi…
A minimal extension of the Standard Model is proposed, where the observed left-handed neutrinos obtain naturally small Majorana masses from a one-loop radiative seesaw mechanism. This model has two candidates (one bosonic and one fermionic) for the dark matter of the Universe. It has a very simple structure and should be verifiable in forthcoming experiments at the Large Hadron Collider.
We propose a scenario for realizing inflation in the framework of supersymmetric B-L extension of the Standard Model. We find that one of the associated right-handed sneutrinos (the superpartner of the Standard Model singlet fermion) can provide a new non-trivial inflationary trajectory at tree level (therefore breaking B-L during inflation). As soon as the inflation ends, the right-handed sneutrino falls into the supersymmetric vacuum, with a vanishing vacuum expectation value, so that B-L symmetry is restored. In this class of models, the B-L gauge symmetry will be radiatively broken at a Te…
We propose an extension of the standard model (SM) by including a dark sector comprising of three generations of heavy right-handed neutrinos, a singlet scalar and a singlet Dirac fermion, where the latter two particles are stable and are viable candidates of dark matter (DM). In the early Universe, the CP-violating out-of-equilibrium decay of heavy right-handed neutrinos to singlet Dirac fermion and scalar in the dark sector generates a net DM asymmetry. The latter is then transported to the visible sector via a dimension eight operator which conserves $B-L$ symmetry and is in thermal equilib…
We present a three-loop model of neutrino mass in which both the weak scale and neutrino mass arise as radiative effects. In this approach, the scales for electroweak symmetry breaking, dark matter, and the exotics responsible for neutrino mass, are related due to an underlying scale-invariance. This motivates the otherwise-independent O(TeV) exotic masses usually found in three-loop models of neutrino mass. We demonstrate the existence of viable parameter space and show that the model can be probed at colliders, precision experiments, and dark matter direct-detection experiments.
We compute, for the first time using lattice QCD methods, radiative transition rates involving excited charmonium states, states of high spin and exotics. Utilizing a large basis of interpolating fields we are able to project out various excited state contributions to three-point correlators computed on quenched anisotropic lattices. In the first lattice QCD calculation of the exotic 1-+ eta_c1 radiative decay, we find a large partial width Gamma(eta_c1 -> J/psi gamma) ~ 100 keV. We find clear signals for electric dipole and magnetic quadrupole transition form factors in chi_c2 -> J/psi gamma,…
We study the radiative lepton flavor violating l_i -> l_jγdecays in the two Higgs doublet model, respecting the Randall Sundrum scenario and estimate the contributions of the KK modes of left (right) handed charged lepton doublets (singlets) on the branching ratios. We observe that the branching ratios are sensitive to the contributions of the charged lepton KK modes.
If neutrinos are Dirac particles, their right-handed partners must be present in the theory. Once introduced in the Standard Model (SM), the difference between the baryon number $B$ and the lepton number $L$ can be promoted to a local $U(1)_{B-L}$ symmetry since the corresponding gauge anomalies can be canceled by the right-handed neutrinos. Furthermore, the extremely small neutrino mass can be explained naturally if it is originated from the quantum correction. In this work, we propose simplest models of radiative Dirac neutrino mass using only $U(1)_{B-L}$ symmetry, and without introducing a…
The radiative see-saw mechanism of Witten generates the right-handed neutrino masses in SO(10) with the spinorial 16_H Higgs field. We study here analytically the 2nd and 3rd generations for the minimal Yukawa structure containing 10_H and 120_H Higgs representations. In the approximation of small 2nd generation masses and gauge loop domination we find the following results : (1) b-tau unification, (2) natural coexistence between large theta_l and small theta_q, (3) degenerate neutrinos.
The singlet majoron model of seesaw neutrino mass is appended by one dark Majorana fermion singlet $χ$ with $L=2$ and one dark complex scalar singlet $ζ$ with $L=1$. This simple setup allows $χ$ to obtain a small radiative mass anchored by the same heavy right-handed neutrinos, whereas the one-loop decay of the standard-model Higgs boson to $χχ+ \barχ \barχ$ provides the freeze-in mechanism for $χ$ to be the light dark matter of the Universe.
We propose a neutrino model in which neutrino masses are generated at one loop level and three right-handed fermions have non-trivial charges under $U(1)_{B-L}$ gauge symmetry in no conflict with anomaly cancellation. After the spontaneously symmetry breaking, a remnant $Z_2$ symmetry is induced and plays an role in assuring the stability of dark matter candidate.
We propose a predictive inert 2 Higgs doublet model, where the Standard Model (SM) symmetry is extended by $S_{3}\otimes Z_{2}\otimes Z_{12}$ and the field content is enlarged by extra scalar fields, charged exotic fermions and two heavy right-handed Majorana neutrinos. The charged exotic fermions generate a nontrivial quark mixing and provide one-loop-level masses for the first- and second-generation charged fermions. The masses of the light active neutrinos are generated from a one loop-level radiative seesaw mechanism. Our model successfully explains the observed SM fermion mass and mixing …
We explain the electron-positron excess reported by the DAMPE collaboration recently in a radiative Dirac seesaw model where a dark $U(1)_X$ gauge symmetry can (i) forbid the tree-level Yukawa couplings of three right-handed neutrinos to the standard model lepton and Higgs doublets, (ii) predict the existence of three dark fermions for the gauge anomaly cancellation, (iii) mediate a testable scattering of the lightest dark fermion off the nucleons. Our model can also accommodate a successful leptogenesis to generate the cosmic baryon asymmetry.
