The linear-non-linear substitution 2-monad

We introduce a general construction on 2-monads. We develop background on maps of 2-monads, their left semi-algebras, and colimits in 2-category. Then, we introduce the construction of a colimit induced by a map of 2-monads, show that we obtain the structure of a 2-monad and give a characterisation of its algebras. Finally, we apply the construction to the map of 2-monads between free symmetric monoidal and the free cartesian 2-monads and combine them into a linear-non-linear 2-monad.

Graded Monads and Graded Logics for the Linear Time -- Branching Time Spectrum

Algebras of the extended probabilistic powerdomain monad

We investigate the Eilenberg-Moore algebras of the extended probabilistic powerdomain monad $\mathcal V_w$ over the category $\mathbf{TOP}_0$ of $T_0$ topological spaces and continuous maps. Slack Hopf Monads

Hopf monads generalise Hopf algebras. They clarify several aspects of the theory of Hopf algebras and capture several related structures such as weak Hopf algebras and Hopf algebroids. However, important parts of Hopf algebra theory are not reached by Hopf monads, most noticeably Drinfeld's quasi-Hopf algebras. Generalizations of Bilinear Maps -- Technical Report

Bilinear maps and their classifying tensor products are well-known in the theory of linear algebra, and their generalization to algebras of commutative monads is a classical result of monad theory.
