In this paper, we extend the source detection in the GOODS-ALMA field (69 arcmin$^2$, rms sensitivity $σ$ $\simeq$ 0.18 mJy.beam$^{-1}$), to deeper levels than presented in Franco et al. (2018). Using positional information at 3.6 and 4.5 $μ$m (from Spitzer-IRAC), we explore the presence of galaxies detected at 1.1 mm with ALMA below our original blind detection limit of 4.8-$σ$ at which the number of spurious sources starts to dominate over that of real sources. In this Supplementary Catalog, we find a total of 16 galaxies, including 2 galaxies with no counterpart in HST images (also known as optically-dark galaxies) down to a 5$σ$ limiting depth of H = 28.2 AB (HST/WFC3 F160W). This brings the total sample of GOODS-ALMA 1.1 mm sources to 35 galaxies. Galaxies in the new sample cover a wider dynamic range in redshift ($z$ = 0.65 - 4.73), are on average twice as large (1.3 vs 0.65 kpc) and and have lower stellar mass (M$_{\star}^{\rm SC}$ = 7.6$\times$10$^{10}$M$_\odot$ vs M$_{\star}^{\rm MC}$ = 1.2$\times$10$^{11}$M$_\odot$). Although exhibiting larger physical sizes, these galaxies have still far-infrared sizes significantly more compact than inferred from their optical emission. We show that the astrometry of the HST image does not only suffer from a global astrometric shift, as already discussed in previous papers, but also from local shifts. These distortions were artificially introduced in the process of building the mosaic of the GOODS-South HST image. By comparing the positions of almost 400 galaxies detected by HST, Pan-STARRS and ALMA, we create a distortion map which can be used to correct for these astrometric issues.

We describe the first data release from the Spitzer-IRAC Equatorial Survey (SpIES); a large-area survey of 115 deg^2 in the Equatorial SDSS Stripe 82 field using Spitzer during its 'warm' mission phase. SpIES was designed to probe sufficient volume to perform measurements of quasar clustering and the luminosity function at z > 3 to test various models for "feedback" from active galactic nuclei (AGN). Additionally, the wide range of available multi-wavelength, multi-epoch ancillary data enables SpIES to identify both high-redshift (z > 5) quasars as well as obscured quasars missed by optical su…
We study the composition of the faint radio population selected from the VLA-COSMOS 3GHz Large Project, a radio continuum survey performed at 10 cm wavelength. The survey covers the full 2 square degree COSMOS field with mean $rms\sim2.3$ $μ$Jy/beam, cataloging 10,899 source components above $5\times rms$. By combining these radio data with UltraVISTA, optical, near-infrared, and Spitzer/IRAC mid-infrared data, as well as X-ray data from the Chandra Legacy, and Chandra COSMOS surveys, we gain insight into the emission mechanisms within our radio sources out to redshifts of $z\sim5$. From these…
We present deep 1.4GHz Very Large Array (VLA) radio continuum observations of two ~half square degree fields in the Coma cluster of galaxies. The two fields, "Coma 1" and "Coma 3," correspond to the cluster core and southwest infall region and were selected on account of abundant pre-existing multiwavelength data. In their most sensitive regions the radio data reach 22 uJy rms per 4.4" beam, sufficient to detect (at 5-sigma) Coma member galaxies with log(L) = 20.11 W/Hz. The full catalog of radio detections is presented herein and consists of 1030 sources detected at >=5 sigma, 628 of which ar…
(abridged) We study the composition of the faint radio population selected from the VLA-COSMOS 3GHz Large Project. The survey covers a 2.6sq.deg. area with a mean rms of ~2.3uJy/b, cataloging 10830 sources (>5sigma). Combining these radio data with optical, near-infrared (UltraVISTA), mid-infrared (Spitzer/IRAC) data, and X-ray data (Chandra), we find counterparts to radio sources for ~93% of the radio sample (in the areas of the COSMOS field not affected by saturated or bright sources in the optical to NIR bands), reaching out to z<6. We further classify the sources as star forming galaxies o…
We present a multiwavelength study of the OH megamaser galaxy (OHMG) IRAS17526+3253, based on new Gemini Multi-Object Spectrograph Integral Field Unit (GMOS/IFU) observations, Hubble Space Telescope F814W and H$α$+[N{\sc ii}] images, and archival 2MASS and 1.49GHz VLA data. The HST images clearly reveal a mid-to-advanced stage major merger whose northwestern and southeastern nuclei have a projected separation of $\sim$8.5kpc. Our HST/H$α$+[N{\sc ii}] image shows regions of ongoing star-formation across the envelope on $\sim$10kpc scales, which are aligned with radio features, supporting the in…
We present the detailed characterization of two extremely red submillimeter galaxies (SMGs), ASXDF1100.053.1 and 231.1, with the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) and the Jansky Very Large Array (VLA). These SMGs were selected originally using AzTEC at 1100 micron, and are observed by Herschel to be faint at 100--500 micron. Their (sub)millimeter colors are as red as -- or redder -- than known z>~5 SMGs; indeed, ASXDF1100.053.1 is redder than HFLS 3, which lies at z=6.3. They are also faint and red in the near-/mid-infrared: ~1 microJy at IRAC 4.5 micron and <0.2 microJy in t…
We present ultra-deep, matched-resolution Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array (VLA) observations at 10 and $3$ GHz in the COSMOS field: the COSMOS-XS survey. The final 10 and $3$ GHz images cover $\sim16\rm{arcmin}^{2}$ and $\sim180\rm{arcmin}^{2}$ and reach median rms values of $0.41μ\rm{Jy\,beam}^{-1}$ and $0.53μ\rm{Jy\,beam}^{-1}$, respectively. Both images have an angular resolution of $\sim 2.0''$. To fully account for the spectral shape and resolution variations across the broad bands, we image all data with a multi-scale, multi-frequency synthesis algorithm. We present source catalogs for t…
Ultra Steep Spectrum (USS) radio sources are one of the efficient tracers of powerful High-z Radio Galaxies (HzRGs). In contrast to searches for powerful HzRGs from radio surveys of moderate depths, fainter USS samples derived from deeper radio surveys can be useful in finding HzRGs at even higher redshifts and in unveiling a population of obscured weaker radio-loud AGN at moderate redshifts. Using our 325 MHz GMRT observations (5-sigma ~ 800 microJy) and 1.4 GHz VLA observations (5-sigma ~ 80 - 100 microJy) available in two subfields (viz., VLA-VIMOS VLT Deep Survey (VLA-VVDS) and Subaru X-ra…
Spitzer/IRAC color selection is a promising technique to identify hot accreting nuclei, that is to say AGN, in galaxies. We demonstrate this using a small sample of SAURON galaxies, and explore this further. The goal of this study is to find a simple and efficient way to reveal optically obscured nuclear accretion in (nearby) galaxies. We apply an infrared selection method to the Spitzer Survey of Stellar Structures in Galaxies (S4G) sample of more than 2500 galaxies, together with its extension sample of more than 400 galaxies. We use the Spitzer colors to find galaxies in the S$^{4}$G survey…
The Very Large Array Sky Survey (VLASS) is observing the entire sky north of $-40^{\circ}$ in the S-band ($2<ν<4\,$GHz), with the highest angular resolution ($2''.5$) of any all-sky radio continuum survey to date. VLASS will cover its entire footprint over three distinct epochs, the first of which has now been observed in full. Based on Quick Look images from this first epoch, we have created a catalog of $1.9\times10^{6}$ reliably detected radio components. Due to the limitations of the Quick Look images, component flux densities are underestimated by $\sim 15\,\%$ at $S_{\text{peak}}>3\,$mJy…
We report the discovery of Lyman-alpha emission (Ly$α$) in the bright galaxy EGSY-2008532660 (hereafter EGSY8p7) using the MOSFIRE spectrograph at the Keck Observatory. First reported by Roberts-Borsani et al. (2015), it was selected for spectroscopic observations because of its photometric redshift ($z_{phot}=8.57^{+0.22}_{-0.43}$), apparent brightness (H$_{160}=25.26\pm0.09$) and red Spitzer/IRAC [3.6]-[4.5] color indicative of contamination by strong oxygen emission in the [4.5] band. With a total integration of $\sim$4.3 hours, our data reveal an emission line at $\simeq$11776 Å which we a…
Identifying Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs) through their X-ray emission is efficient, but necessarily biased against X-ray-faint objects. We aim to characterize this bias by comparing X-ray-selected AGNs to the ones identified through optical variability and mid-IR colours. We present a catalogue of AGNs selected through optical variability using all publicly available z-band Hubble Space Telescope images in the GOODS-South field. For all objects in the catalogue, we compute X-ray upper limits or discuss detections in the deepest available 7 Ms Chandra Deep Field South images and present the Sp…
We present a detailed study of the Planck-selected binary galaxy cluster PLCK G165.7+67.0 (G165; $z$=0.348). A multiband photometric catalog is generated that incorporates new imaging from the Large Binocular Telescope/Large Binocular Camera and Spitzer/IRAC to existing imaging. To cope with the different image characteristics, robust methods are applied in the extraction of the matched-aperture photometry. Photometric redshifts are estimated for 143 galaxies in the 4 arcmin$^{2}$ field of overlap covered by all these data. We confirm that strong lensing effects yield 30 images of 11 backgroun…
We identify 85 variable galaxies in the GOODS North and South fields using 5 epochs of HST ACS V-band (F606W) images spanning 6 months. The variables are identified through significant flux changes in the galaxy's nucleus and represent ~2% of the survey galaxies. With the aim of studying the active galaxy population in the GOODS fields, we compare the variability-selected sample with X-ray and mid-IR AGN candidates. Forty-nine percent of the variables are associated with X-ray sources identified in the 2Ms Chandra surveys. Twenty-four percent of X-ray sources likely to be AGN are optical varia…
We present a "super-deblended" far-infrared to (sub)millimeter photometric catalog in the Cosmic Evolution Survey (COSMOS), prepared with the method recently developed by Liu et al. 2018, with key adaptations. We obtain point spread function (PSF) fitting photometry at fixed prior positions including 88,008 galaxies detected in either VLA 1.4~GHz, 3~GHz and/or MIPS 24~$μ$m images. By adding a specifically carved mass-selected sample (with an evolving stellar mass limit), a highly complete prior sample of 194,428 galaxies is achieved for deblending FIR/(sub)mm images. We performed ``active' rem…
We report the serendipitous detection of two 3 mm continuum sources found in deep ALMA Band 3 observations to study intermediate redshift galaxies in the COSMOS field. One is near a foreground galaxy at 1.3", but is a previously unknown dust-obscured star-forming galaxy (DSFG) at probable $z_{CO}=3.329$, illustrating the risk of misidentifying shorter wavelength counterparts. The optical-to-mm spectral energy distribution (SED) favors a grey $λ^{-0.4}$ attenuation curve and results in significantly larger stellar mass and SFR compared to a Calzetti starburst law, suggesting caution when relati…
We present detections of the CO(J= 1-0) emission line in a sample of four massive star-forming galaxies at z~1.5-2.2 obtained with the Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array (VLA). Combining these observations with previous CO(2-1) and CO(3-2) detections of these galaxies, we study the excitation properties of the molecular gas in our sample sources. We find an average line brightness temperature ratios of R_{21}=0.70+\-0.16 and R_{31}=0.50+\-0.29, based on measurements for three and two galaxies, respectively. These results provide additional support to previous indications of sub-thermal gas excita…
We study the faint radio population using wide-field very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) observations of 2865 known radio sources in the Cosmic Evolution Survey (COSMOS) field. The main objective of the project was to determine where active galactic nuclei (AGN) are present. The combination of number of sources, sensitivity, angular resolution and area covered by this project are unprecedented. We have detected 468 radio sources, expected to be AGNs, with the Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) at 1.4 GHz. This is, to date, the largest sample assembled of VLBI detected sources in the sub-mJy …

The Frontier Fields are a director's discretionary time campaign with HST and the Spitzer Space Telescope to see deeper into the universe than ever before. The Frontier Fields combine the power of HST and Spitzer with the natural gravitational telescopes of massive high-magnification clusters of galaxies to produce the deepest observations of clusters and their lensed galaxies ever obtained. Six clusters - Abell 2744, MACSJ0416.1-2403, MACSJ0717.5+3745, MACSJ1149.5+2223, Abell S1063, and Abell 370 - were selected based on their lensing strength, sky darkness, Galactic extinction, parallel fiel…
We present a large-scale study of the X-ray properties and near-IR-to-radio SEDs of submillimetre galaxies (SMGs) detected at 1.1mm with the AzTEC instrument across a ~1.2 square degree area of the sky. Combining deep 2-4 Ms Chandra data with Spitzer IRAC/MIPS and VLA data within the GOODS-N/S and COSMOS fields, we find evidence for AGN activity in ~14 percent of 271 AzTEC SMGs, ~28 percent considering only the two GOODS fields. Through X-ray spectral modeling and SED fitting using Monte Carlo Markov Chain techniques to Siebenmorgen et al. (2004) (AGN) and Efstathiou et al. (2000) (starburst) …
