To characterize the regularity of distribution-path dependent SDEs in the initial distribution which varies in the class of probability measures on the path space, we introduce the intrinsic and Lions derivatives for probability measures on Banach spaces, and prove the chain rule of the Lions derivative for the distribution of Banach-valued random variables. By using Malliavin calculus, we establish the Bismut type formula for the Lions derivatives of functional solutions to SDEs with distribution-path dependent drifts. When the noise term is also path dependent so that the Bismut formula is invalid, we establish the asymptotic Bismut formula. Both non-degenerate and degenerate noises are considered. The main results of this paper generalize and improve the corresponding ones derived recently in the literature for the classical SDEs with memory and McKean-Vlasov SDEs without memory.
By using distribution dependent Zvonkin's transforms and Malliavin calculus, the Bismut type formula is derived for the intrinisc/Lions derivatives of distribution dependent SDEs with singular drifts, which generalizes the corresponding results derived for classical SDEs and regular distribution dependent SDEs.
By using Malliavin calculus, Bismut type formulas are established for the Lions derivative of $P_tf(μ):=\mathbb E f(X_t^μ)$, where $t>0,$ $ f $ is a bounded measurable function, and $X_t^μ$ solves a distribution dependent SDE with initial distribution $μ$. As applications, explicit estimates are derived for the Lions derivative and the total variational distance between distributions of solutions with different initial data. Both degenerate and non-degenerate situations are considered. Due to the lack of the semigroup property and the invalidity of the formula $P_tf (μ)= \int P_tf(x)μ(d x)$, e…
In this work, we will show the existence, uniqueness, and weak differentiability of the solution to semi-linear mean-field stochastic differential equations driven by fractional Brownian motion. We prove an extension of the Bismut-Elworthy-Li formula and show some applications in the sensitivity analysis of variance swaps and also the price of derivatives with respect to the initial point.
In this paper, we show the existence of unique Malliavin differentiable solutions to SDE`s driven by a fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter H<1/2 and singular, unbounded drift vector fields, for which we also prove a stability result. Further, using the latter results, we propose a stock price model with rough and correlated volatility, which also allows for capturing regime switching effects. Finally, we also derive a Bismut-Elworthy-Li formula with respect to our stock price model for certain classes of vector fields.
In this paper we study a class of distribution dependent stochastic differential equations driven by fractional Brownian motions with Hurst parameter H\in(1/2,1). We prove the well-posedness of this type equations, and then establish a general result on the Bismut formula for the Lions derivative by using Malliavin calculus. As applications, we provide the Bismut formulas of this kind for both non-degenerate and degenerate cases, and obtain the estimates of the Lions derivative and the total variation distance between the laws of two solutions.
The Bismut formula is established for the intrinsic derivative of singular McKean-Vlasov SDEs, where the noise coefficient belongs to a local Sobolev space, and the drift contains a locally integrable time-space term as well as a time-space-distribution term Lipschitz continuous in the space and distribution variables. The results are new also for classical SDEs.
In this paper we prove a derivative formula of Bismut-Elworthy-Li's type as well as gradient estimate for stochastic differential equations driven by $α$-stable noises, where $α\in(0,2)$. As an application, the strong Feller property for stochastic partial differential equations driven by subordinated cylindrical Brownian motions is presented.
In this article, we develop integration by parts formulae on Wiener space for solutions of SDEs with general McKean-Vlasov interaction and uniformly elliptic coefficients. These integration by parts formulae hold both for derivatives with respect to a real variable and derivatives with respect to a measure understood in the sense of Lions. They allows us to prove the existence of a classical solution to a related PDE with irregular terminal condition. We also develop bounds for the derivatives of the density of the solutions of McKean-Vlasov SDEs.
By using Bismut's approach about the Malliavin calculus with jumps, we study the regularity of the distributional density for SDEs driven by degenerate additive Lévy noises. Under full Hörmander's conditions, we prove the existence of distributional density and the weak continuity in the first variable of the distributional density. Under the uniform first order Lie's bracket condition, we also prove the smoothness of the density.
Let P2(Rd) be the space of probability measures on Rd with finite second moment. The path independence of additive functionals of McKean-Vlasov SDEs is characterized by PDEs on the product space Rd*P2(Rd) equipped with the usual derivative in space variable and Lions derivative in distribution. These PDEs are solved by using probabilis- tic arguments developed from [2]. In particular, the path independence of the Girsanov transformation killing the drift term is identified with a nonlinear PDE on Rd*P2(Rd), which includes corresponding results derived earlier for the classical SDEs as special …
In this paper, we study small-time asymptotic behaviors for a class of distribution dependent stochastic differential equations driven by fractional Brownian motions with Hurst parameter $H\in(1/2,1)$ and magnitude $\ep^H$. By building up a variational framework and two weak convergence criteria in the factional Brownian motion setting, we establish the large and moderate deviation principles for this type equations. Besides, we also obtain the central limit theorem, in which the limit process solves a linear equation involving the Lions derivative of the drift coefficient.
We prove the existence of weak solutions to McKean-Vlasov SDEs defined on a domain $D \subseteq \mathbb{R}^d$ with continuous and unbounded coefficients that satisfy Lyapunov type conditions, where the Lyapunov function may depend on measure. We propose a new type of {\em integrated} Lyapunov condition, where the inequality is only required to hold when integrated against the measure on which the Lyapunov function depends , and we show that this is sufficient for the existence of weak solutions to McKean-Vlasov SDEs defined on $D$. The main tool used in the proofs is the concept of a measure d…

The master equation is a type of PDE whose state variable involves the distribution of certain underlying state process. It is a powerful tool for studying the limit behavior of large interacting systems, including mean field games and systemic risk. It also appears naturally in stochastic control problems with partial information and in time inconsistent problems. In this paper we propose a novel notion of viscosity solution for parabolic master equations, arising mainly from control problems, and establish its wellposedness. Our main innovation is to restrict the involved measures to certain…
In this paper we present a unified approach to establish gradient type formulas and Bismut type formulas for backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs). This approach relies on a mix of derivative formulas with respect to the conditional probability of forward SDEs and the expression of the solution of BSDEs. Some concrete examples are given to illustrate the results. As applications, we provide representation formulas for the control solutions to McKean-Vlasov BSDEs and derive gradient estimates for related PDEs.
We prove gradient estimates for transition Markov semigroups $(P_t)$ associated to SDEs driven by multiplicative Brownian noise having possibly unbounded $C^1$-coefficients, without requiring any monotonicity type condition. In particular, first derivatives of coefficients can grow polynomially and even exponentially. We establish pointwise estimates with weights for $D_x P_tφ$ of the form \[ {\sqrt{t}} \, |D_x P_t φ(x) | \le c \, (1+ |x|^k) \, \| φ\|_{\infty} \] $t \in (0,1]$, $φ\in C_b ({\mathbb R}^d)$, $x \in {\mathbb R}^d.$ To prove the result we use two main tools. First, we consider a Fe…
We study the optimal control of path-dependent McKean-Vlasov equations valued in Hilbert spaces motivated by non Markovian mean-field models driven by stochastic PDEs. We first establish the well-posedness of the state equation, and then we prove the dynamic programming principle (DPP) in such a general framework. The crucial law invariance property of the value function V is rigorously obtained, which means that V can be viewed as a function on the Wasserstein space of probability measures on the set of continuous functions valued in Hilbert space. We then define a notion of pathwise measure …
