Confluent Conformal Blocks of the Second Kind

We construct confluent conformal blocks of the second kind of the Virasoro algebra. We also construct the Stokes transformations which map such blocks in one Stokes sector to another. In the BPZ limit, we verify explicitly that the constructed blocks and the associated Stokes transformations reduce to solutions of the confluent BPZ equation and its Stokes matrices, respectively. Both the confluent conformal blocks and the Stokes transformations are constructed by taking suitable confluent limits of the crossing transformations of the four-point Virasoro conformal blocks.

Accessory parameters in confluent Heun equations and classical irregular conformal blocks

Classical Virasoro conformal blocks are believed to be directly related to accessory parameters of Floquet type in the Heun equation and some of its confluent versions. We extend this relation to another class of accessory parameter functions that are defined by inverting all-order Bohr-Sommerfeld periods for confluent and biconfluent Heun equation. The relevant conformal blocks involve Nagoya irregular vertex operators of rank 1 and 2 and conjecturally correspond to partition functions of a 4D $\mathcal{N}=2$, $N_f=3$ gauge theory at strong coupling and an Argyres-Douglas theory.

Confluent conformal blocks and the Teukolsky master equation

Quasinormal modes of usual, four dimensional, Kerr black holes are described by certain solutions of a confluent Heun differential equation. In this work, we express these solutions in terms of the connection matrices for a Riemann-Hilbert problem, which was recently solved in terms of the Painlevé V transcendent. We use this formulation to generate the small-frequency expansion for the angular spheroidal harmonic eigenvalue, and derive conditions on the monodromy properties for the radial modes. Conformal Field Theory with Two Kinds of Bosonic Fields and Two Linear Dilatons

We consider a two-dimensional conformal field theory which contains two kinds of the bosonic degrees of freedom. Two linear dilaton fields enable us to study a more general case. Various properties of the model such as OPEs, central charge, conformal properties of the fields and associated algebras will be studied.

The Triality of Conformal Extensions of Three Kinds of Special Relativity

The conformal extensions of three kinds of special relativity with ISO(1,3)/SO(1,4)/SO(2,3) invariance on Mink/dS/AdS space, respectively, are realized on an SO(2,4)/Z_2 invariant projective null cone [N] as the (projective) boundary of the 5-d AdS-space. The relations among the conformal Mink/dS/AdS spaces, the motions of light signals and the conformal field theories on them can be given. Thus, there should be a triality for these conformal issues and the conjectured AdS/CFT correspondence.

Klein four-group and Darboux duality in conformal mechanics

We study the Klein four-group $(K_4)$ symmetry of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for the conformal mechanics model of de Alfaro-Fubini-Furlan (AFF) with confining harmonic potential and coupling constant $g=ν(ν+1)\geq -1/4$. Duality transformation and conformal equivalent scalar-tensor theories

We deal with the duality symmetry of the Dilaton field in cosmology and specifically with the so-called Gasperini-Veneziano duality transformation. In particular, we determine two conformal equivalent theories to the Dilaton field, and we show that under conformal transformations Gasperini-Veneziano duality symmetry does not survive. Intertwining Operator Realization of the AdS/CFT Correspondence

We give a group-theoretic interpretation of the AdS/CFT correspondence as relation of representation equivalence between representations of the conformal group describing the bulk AdS fields $ϕ$ and the coupled boundary fields $ϕ_0$ and ${\cal O}$. Conformally Invariant Green Functions of Current and Energy-Momentum Tensor in Spaces of Even Dimension D >= 4

We study the conformally invariant quantum field theory in spaces of even dimension D >= 4. The conformal transformations of current j_μand energy-momentum tensor T_{μν} are examined. It is shown that the set of conformal transformations of particular kind corresponds to the canonical (unlike anomalous) dimensions l_j=D-1 and l_T=D of those fields. Behavior of Quasilocal Mass Under Conformal Transformations

We show that in a generic scalar-tensor theory of gravity, the ``referenced'' quasilocal mass of a spatially bounded region in a classical solution is invariant under conformal transformations of the spacetime metric. We first extend the Brown-York quasilocal formalism to such theories to obtain the ``unreferenced'' quasilocal mass and prove it to be conformally invariant. Anomalous Current Due to Weyl Anomaly for Conformal Field Theory

Recently it is found that Weyl anomaly leads to new anomalous currents in an external electromagnetic field in the curved spacetime. For simplicity, the initial works mainly focus on weak gravitational fields and the anomalous current is obtained for conformally flat spaces with small scale factors. The Power of Nekrasov Functions

The recent AGT suggestion to use the set of Nekrasov functions as a basis for a linear decomposition of generic conformal blocks works very well not only in the case of Virasoro symmetry, but also for conformal theories with extended chiral algebra.
