Resonances and localization in multi-particle disordered systems

A short proof of Weyl's law for fractional differential operators

We study spectral asymptotics for a large class of differential operators on an open subset of $\R^d$ with finite volume. This class includes the Dirichlet Laplacian, the fractional Laplacian, and also fractional differential operators with non-homogeneous symbols. Based on a sharp estimate for the sum of the eigenvalues we establish the first term of the semiclassical asymptotics. This generalizes Weyl's law for the Laplace operator.

Localization for $N$-particle continuous models with strongly mixing correlated random potentials

For the multi-particle Anderson model with correlated random potential in the continuum, we show under fairly general assumptions on the inter-particle interaction and the random external potential, the Anderson localization which consists of both the spectral, exponential localization and the strong dynamical localization. We consider a random symmetric matrix ${\bf X} = [X_{jk}]_{j,k=1}^n$ with upper triangular entries being independent identically distributed random variables with mean zero and unit variance. Spectral band localization for Schrödinger operators on periodic graphs

We consider Schrödinger operators on periodic discrete graphs. It is known that the spectrum of these operators has band structure. We obtain a localization of spectral bands in terms of eigenvalues of Dirichlet and Neumann operators on a finite graph, which is constructed from the fundamental cell of the periodic graph. The proof is based on the Floquet decomposition of Schrödinger operators and the minimax principle.
