We prove the Feigin-Tipunin conjecture on the geometric construction of the logarithmic W-algebras associated with a simply-laced simple Lie algebra and an integer p bigger than 2, and their modules.
The first goal of this note is to extend the well-known Feigin homomorphisms taking quantum groups to quantum polynomial algebras. More precisely, we define generalized Feigin homomorphisms from a quantum shuffle algebra to quantum polynomial algebras which extend the classical Feigin homomorphisms along the embedding of the quantum group into said quantum shuffle algebra. In a recent work of Berenstein and the author, analogous extensions of Feigin homomorphisms from the dual Hall-Ringel algebra of a valued quiver to quantum polynomial algebras were defined. To relate these constructions, we …
We give a complete description of the graded multiplicity space which appears in the Feigin-Loktev fusion product [FL99] of graded Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules for all simple Lie algebras. This construction is used to obtain an upper bound formula for the fusion coefficients in these cases. The formula generalizes the case of g=A_r [AKS06], where the multiplicities are generalized Kostka polynomials [SW99,KS02]. In the case of other Lie algebras, the formula is the the fermionic side of the X=M conjecture [HKO+99]. In the cases where the Kirillov-Reshetikhin conjecture, regarding the decomposi…
We construct a Poincare-Birkhoff-Witt type basis for the Weyl modules of the current algebra of $sl_{r+1}$. As a corollary we prove a conjecture made by Chari and Pressley on the dimension of the Weyl modules in this case. Further, we relate the Weyl modules to the fusion modules of the current algebra defined by Feigin and Loktev, and to the Demazure modules in level one representations of the corresponding affine algebra. In particular, this allows us to establish substantial cases of the conjectures of Feigin and Loktev on the structure and graded character of the fusion modules.
This paper provides a brief review of the relations between the Feigin-Loktev conjecture on the dimension of graded tensor products of $\g[t]$-modules, the Kirillov-Reshetikhin conjecture, the combinatorial ``M=N" conjecture, their proofs for all simple Lie algebras, and a pentagon of identities which results from the proof.
We study the restricted category O for an affine Kac--Moody algebra at the critical level. In particular, we prove the first part of the Feigin-Frenkel conjecture: the linkage principle for restricted Verma modules. Moreover, we prove a version of the BGGH-reciprocity principle and we determine the block decomposition of the restricted category O. For the proofs we need a deformed version of the classical structures, so we mostly work in a relative setting.
In this paper we prove that in type $\tt A_n$, the Feigin-Fourier-Littelmann-Vinberg (FFLV) polytope coincides with the Minkowski sum of Lusztig polytopes arising from various reduced decompositions. Using this result, we formulate a conjecture about the crystal structures on FFLV polytopes.
Let L_1 denotes the Lie algebra of formal vector fields on the line which vanish at the origin together with their first derivatives. Buchstaber and Shokurov have shown that the universal enveloping algebra U(L_1) is isomorphic to the tensor product of the Landweber-Novikov algebra S in complex cobordism theory by reals. The cohomology H*(L_1) has trivial multiplication. Buchstaber conjectured that H*(L_1) is generated with respect to non-trivial Massey products by H^1(L_1). Feigin, Fuchs and Retakh found representation of H*(L_1) by trivial Massey products. In the present article we prove tha…
We prove the conjecture of Gaiotto and Rapčák that the $Y$-algebras $Y_{L,M,N}[ψ]$ with one of the parameters $L,M,N$ zero, are simple one-parameter quotients of the universal two-parameter $\mathcal{W}_{1+\infty}$-algebra, and satisfy a symmetry known as triality. These $Y$-algebras are defined as the cosets of certain non-principal $\mathcal{W}$-algebras and $\mathcal{W}$-superalgebras by their affine vertex subalgebras, and triality is an isomorphism between three such algebras. Special cases of our result provide new and unified proofs of many theorems and open conjectures in the literatur…
We prove the strong Macdonald conjecture of Hanlon and Feigin for reductive groups G. In a geometric reformulation, we show that the Dolbeault cohomology $H^q(X;Ω^p)$ of the loop Grassmannian X is freely generated by de Rham's forms on the disk coupled to algebra generators of $H*(BG)$. Equating Euler characteristics of the two gives an identity, independently known to Macdonald [M], which generalises Ramanujan's_1ψ_1 sum. Simply laced root systems at level 1 are related to a `strong'_4ψ_4 sum. Failure of Hodge decomposition implies the singularity of X, and of the algebraic loop groups.
We provide a new approach towards the analysis of the fusion products defined by B.~Feigin and S.~Loktev in the representation theory of (truncated) current Lie algebras. We understand the fusion product as a degeneration using Gröbner theory of non-commutative algebras and outline a strategy on how to prove a conjecture about the defining relations for the fusion product of two evaluation modules. We conclude with following this strategy for $\mathfrak{sl}_2(\mathbb{C}[t]) $ and hence provide yet another proof for the conjecture in this case.
Gaudin algebra is the commutative subalgebra in $U(\mathfrak{g})^{\otimes N}$ generated by higher integrals of the quantum Gaudin magnet chain attached to a semisimple Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$. This algebra depends on a collection of pairwise distinct complex numbers $z_1,\ldots,z_N$. We prove that this subalgebra has a cyclic vector in the space of singular vectors of the tensor product of any finite-dimensional irreducible $\mathfrak{g}$-modules, for all values of the parameters $z_1,\ldots,z_N$. We deduce from this result the Bethe Ansatz conjecture in the Feigin-Frenkel form which states…
Feigin and Shoikhet conjectured in math/0610410 that successive quotients $B_m(A_n)$ of the lower central series filtration of a free associative algebra $A_n$ have polynomial growth. In this paper we give a proof of this conjecture, using the structure of $W_n$-representation on $B_m(A_n)$ which was defined in math/0610410 . We also prove that the number of squares in a Young diagram $D$ corresponding to an irreducible $W_n$-module in the Jordan-Holder series of $B_m(A_n)$ is bounded above by the integer $(m-1)^2+2[(n-2)/2](m-1)$. This bound combined with MAGMA computations by Rains in math/0…
We prove the long-standing conjecture on the coset construction of the minimal series principal $W$-algebras of $ADE$ types in full generality. We do this by first establishing Feigin's conjecture on the coset realization of the universal principal $W$-algebras, which are not necessarily simple. As consequences, the unitarity of the "discrete series" of principal $W$-algebras is established, a second coset realization of rational and unitary $W$-algebras of type $A$ and $D$ are given and the rationality of Kazama-Suzuki coset vertex superalgebras is derived.
First, we establish the relation between the associated varieties of modules over Kac-Moody algebras \hat{g} and those over affine W-algebras. Second, we prove the Feigin-Frenkel conjecture on the singular supports of G-integrable admissible representations. In fact we show that the associated variates of G-integrable admissible representations are irreducible G-invariant subvarieties of the nullcone of g, by determining them explicitly. Third, we prove the C_2-cofiniteness of a large number of simple W-algebras, including all minimal series principal W-algebras and the exceptional W-algebras …
Following Braverman-Finkelberg-Feigin-Rybnikov (arXiv:1008.3655), we study the convolution algebra of a handsaw quiver variety, a.k.a. a parabolic Laumon space, and a finite W-algebra of type A. This is a finite analog of the AGT conjecture on 4-dimensional supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory with surface operators. Our new observation is that the C^*-fixed point set of a handsaw quiver variety is isomorphic to a graded quiver variety of type A, which was introduced by the author in connection with the representation theory of a quantum affine algebra. As an application, simple modules of the W-a…
The aim of the present paper is to introduce a generalized quantum cluster character, which assigns to each object V of a finitary Abelian category C over a finite field FF_q and any sequence ii of simple objects in C the element X_{V,ii} of the corresponding algebra P_{C,ii} of q-polynomials. We prove that if C was hereditary, then the assignments V-> X_{V,ii} define algebra homomorphisms from the (dual) Hall-Ringel algebra of C to the P_{C,ii}, which generalize the well-known Feigin homomorphisms from the upper half of a quantum group to q-polynomial algebras. If C is the representation cate…
Trialities of $\mathcal{W}$-algebras are isomorphisms between the affine cosets of three different $\mathcal{W}$-(super)algebras, and were first conjectured in the physics literature by Gaiotto and Rapčák. In this paper we prove trialities among eight families of $\mathcal{W}$-(super)algebras of types $B$, $C$, and $D$. The key idea is to identify the affine cosets of these algebras with one-parameter quotients of the universal two-parameter even spin $\mathcal{W}_{\infty}$-algebra which was recently constructed by Kanade and the second author. Our result is a vast generalization of both Feigi…
