Closed hypersurfaces of low entropy in $\mathbb{R}^4$ are isotopically trivial

A Bangert-Hingston Theorem for Starshaped Hypersurfaces

Let $Q$ be a closed manifold with non-trivial first Betti number that admits a non-trivial $S^1$-action, and $Σ\subseteq T^*Q$ a non-degenerate starshaped hypersurface. Complete flat fronts as hypersurfaces in Euclidean space

By Hartman--Nirenberg's theorem, any complete flat hypersurface in Euclidean space must be a cylinder over a plane curve. However, if we admit some singularities, there are many non-trivial examples. Flat fronts are flat hypersurfaces with admissible singularities. Murata--Umehara gave a representation formula for complete flat fronts with non-empty singular set in Euclidean $3$-space, and proved the four vertex type theorem. In this paper, we prove that, unlike the case of $n=2$, there do not exist any complete flat fronts with non-empty singular set in Euclidean $(n+1)$-space $(n\geq 3)$.

On the scalar curvature of hypersurfaces in spaces with a Killing field

We consider compact hypersurfaces in an $(n+1)$-dimensional either Riemannian or Lorentzian space $N^{n+1}$ endowed with a conformal Killing vector field. For such hypersurfaces, we establish an integral formula which, especially in the simpler case when $N=M^n\times R$ is a product space, allows us to derive some interesting consequences in terms of the scalar curvature of the hypersurface. Width, Ricci curvature and minimal hypersurfaces

Let $(M,g_0)$ be a closed Riemannian manifold of dimension $n$, for $3 \leq n \leq 7$, and non-negative Ricci curvature. Let $g = ϕ^2 g_0$ be a metric in the conformal class of $g_0$. We show that there exists a smooth closed embedded minimal hypersurface in $(M,g)$ of volume bounded by $C V^{\frac{n-1}{n}}$, where $V$ is the total volume of $(M,g)$ and $C$ is a constant that depends only on $n$.
