Liouville domains are a special type of symplectic manifolds with boundary (they have an everywhere defined Liouville flow, pointing outwards along the boundary). Symplectic cohomology for Liouville domains was introduced by Cieliebak-Floer-Hofer-Wysocki and Vitero. The latter constructed a restriction (or transfer) map associated to an embedding of one Liouville domain into another. On partially wrapped Fukaya categories

We define a new class of symplectic objects called "stops", which roughly speaking are Liouville hypersurfaces in the boundary of a Liouville domain. Locally, these can be viewed as pages of a compatible open book. To a Liouville domain with a collection of disjoint stops, we assign an $A_\infty$-category called its partially wrapped Fukaya category. An exact Landau-Ginzburg model gives rise to a stop, and the corresponding partially wrapped Fukaya category is meant to agree with the Fukaya category one is supposed to assign to the Landau-Ginzburg model. Unknotted Reeb orbits and nicely embedded holomorphic curves

We exhibit a distinctly low-dimensional dynamical obstruction to the existence of Liouville cobordisms: for any contact 3-manifold admitting an exact symplectic cobordism to the tight 3-sphere, every nondegenerate contact form admits an embedded Reeb orbit that is unknotted and has self-linking number -1. The same is true moreover for any contact structure on a closed 3-manifold that is reducible.
