On boundary controllability and stabilizability of the 1D wave equation in non-cylindrical domain

In this paper, we deal with the boundary controllability and boundary stabilizability of the 1D wave equation in non-cylindrical domain of the form ($α(t)<x<β(t)$). By using the characteristics method, we prove under a natural assumption on the boundary functions that the 1D wave equation is controllable and stabilizable from one side of the boundary. Furthermore, the control function and the decay rate of solution are given explicitly

Lyapunov stabilizability of controlled diffusions via a superoptimality principle for viscosity solutions

We prove optimality principles for semicontinuous bounded viscosity solutions of Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equations. In particular we provide a representation formula for viscosity supersolutions as value functions of suitable obstacle control problems. Quantitative rapid and finite time stabilization of the heat equation

The aim of this paper is to study the controllability and stabilization for the Benjamin equation on a periodic domain $\mathbb{T}$.
