A new shape function for wormholes in $f(R)$ gravity and General Relativity

In the present work, a new shape function is proposed inside a modified $f(R)$ gravity and General Relativity in wormhole (WH) geometry. The shape function obeyed all the desired conditions of WH geometry. The equation of state (EoS) parameter, anisotropy parameter and the energy conditions are computed. The tangential null energy conditions and the weak energy condition are validated, as well as the radial energy conditions, which demonstrates the nonappearance of exotic matter due to modified gravity allied with such a new proposal.

Traversable Wormholes in $f(R,T)$ Gravity

In the present article, models of traversable wormholes within the $f(R, T)$ modified gravity theory are investigated. We have presented some wormhole models, developed from various hypothesis for the substance of their matter, i.e. various relationships with their components of pressure (lateral and radial). An exponential shape function for wormholes in modified gravity

Here, we propose a new exponential shape function in wormhole geometry within modified gravity. The energy conditions and equation of state parameter are obtained. The radial and tangential null energy conditions are validated, as well as the weak energy condition, which indicates the absence of exotic matter due to modified gravity allied with such a new proposal.

New Traversable Wormholes Solutions in $f(T)$ Gravity

In this paper we search for dynamical traversable wormhole solution in the modified $f(T)$ theory of gravity, $T$ being the torsion scalar. For such wormhole, the time dependence is inserted in the static traversable wormhole metric of Morris and Thore. Two set of tetrads are adopted: the diagonal and the non-diagonal tetrads. In this paper, we propose that since Hawking radiation may be a kind of superradiation, the action of superradiation with preset bounds satisfies some higher-dimensional action structure, e.g., bosons in the preset springs of Kerr black hole. Existence of Static Wormhole Solutions in $f(R,G)$ Gravity

This work investigates some feasible regions for the existence of traversable wormhole geometries in $f(R,G)$ gravity, where $R$ and $G$ represent the Ricci scalar and the Gauss-Bonnet invariant respectively. Cylindrical Thin-shell Wormholes in $f(R)$ gravity

In this paper, we employ cut and paste scheme to construct thin-shell wormhole of a charged black string with $f(R)$ terms. We consider $f(R)$ model as an exotic matter source at wormhole throat. The stability of the respective solutions are analyzed under radial perturbations in the context of $R+δR^2$ model. It is concluded that both stable as well as unstable solutions do exist for different values of $δ$. In the limit $δ{\rightarrow}0$, all our results reduce to general relativity.

Existence of stable wormholes on a noncommutative-geometric background in modified gravity

In this paper, we discuss spherically symmetric wormhole solutions in $f(R,T)$ modified theory of gravity by introducing well-known non-commutative geometry in terms of Gaussian and Lorentizian distributions of string theory. Time-Dependent Wormhole Solutions of $f(R)$ Theory of Gravity and Energy Conditions

In this work, we construct time-dependent wormhole solutions in the context of $f(R)$ theory of gravity. The background matter is considered to be traceless. By considering specific shape function and power-law expansion exact solutions for $f(R)$ are found. The null and the weak energy conditions (NEC and WEC) are checked for wormhole solutions. It is shown that the matter threading the wormhole spacetimes with either accelerated expansion or decelerated expansion satisfies the NEC and WEC.

Gravity's Rainbow and Traversable Wormholes

In the context of Gravity's Rainbow, we compute the graviton one-loop contribution to a classical energy in a traversable wormhole background, by considering the equation of state $p_{r} = ωρ$. The investigation is evaluated by means of a variational approach with Gaussian trial wave functionals. However, instead of using a regularization/renormalization process, we use the distortion induced by Gravity's Rainbow to handle the divergences.
