Evolution of spin polarization in the presence of external electric field is studied for collision energies $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=27\,{\rm GeV}$ and $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=200\,{\rm GeV}$. The numerical analysis is done in the perfect-fluid Bjorken-expanding resistive magnetohydrodynamic background and novel results are reported.
