Darboux first integral conditions and integrability of the 3D Lotka-Volterra system

We apply the Darboux theory of integrability to polynomial ODE's of dimension 3. Using this theory and computer algebra, we study the existence of first integrals for the 3-dimensional Lotka-Volterra systems with polynomial invariant algebraic solutions linear and quadratic and determine numerous cases of integrability.

Spectral curve and Hamiltonian structure of isomonodromic SU(2) Calogero-Gaudin system

This paper presents a new approach to the Hamiltonian structure of isomonodromic deformations of a matrix system of ODE's on a torus. An isomonodromic analogue of the $\rmSU(2)$ Calogero-Gaudin system is used for a case study of this approach. A clue of this approach is a mapping to a finite number of points on the spectral curve of the isomonodromic Lax equation. On certain analytical methods in finding integrable systems and their interconnections

In this paper, to begin with, we review six different analytical methods which are widely used to derive symmetries, integrating factors, multipliers, Darboux polynomials and integrals of second order nonlinear ordinary differential equations. On the preservation of second integrals by Runge-Kutta methods

One can elucidate integrability properties of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) by knowing the existence of second integrals (also known as weak integrals or Darboux polynomials for polynomial ODEs). However, little is known about how they are preserved, if at all, under numerical methods. Here, we show that in general all Runge-Kutta methods will preserve all affine second integrals but not (irreducible) quadratic second integrals. Interplay of symmetries and other integrability quantifiers in finite dimensional integrable nonlinear dynamical systems

In this work, we establish a connection between the extended Prelle-Singer procedure with other widely used analytical methods to identify integrable systems in the case of $n^{th}$-order nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs).
