In this article, we construct the charmed-diquark-charmed-diquark-charmed-diquark type current to study the axialvector triply-charmed hexaquark state with the QCD sum rules in details. In calculations, we take the energy scale formula $μ=\sqrt{M^2_{H}-(3{\mathbb{M}}_c)^2}$ to choose the pertinent energy scale of the QCD spectral density so as to enhance the pole contribution and improve the convergent behavior of the operator product expansion. If the spin-breaking effects are small for the triply-charmed hexaquark states, the ground state hexaquark states with $J^P=0^+$, $1^+$ and $2^+$ are estimated to have the masses about $5.8\,\rm{GeV}$ and narrow widths.
In this article, we study the scalar-diquark-scalar-diquark-scalar-diquark type hexaquark state with the QCD sum rules by carrying out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension 16. We obtain the lowest hexaquark mass $6.60^{+0.12}_{-0.09}\,\rm{GeV}$, which can be confronted to the experimental data in the future.
Adopting the one-boson-exchange model, we perform a systematic investigation of interactions between a doubly charmed baryon $(Ξ_{cc})$ and an $S$-wave charmed baryon ($Λ_c$, $Σ_c^{(*)}$, and $Ξ_c^{(\prime,*)}$). Both the $S$-$D$ mixing effect and coupled-channel effect are considered in this work. Our results suggest that there may exist several possible triple-charm deuteron-like hexaquarks. Meanwhile, we further study the interactions between a doubly charmed baryon and an $S$-wave anticharmed baryon. We find that a doubly charmed baryon and an $S$-wave anticharmed baryon can be easily boun…
The total and differential cross sections for the production of triply charmed $Ω_{ccc}$ baryons in $e^{+}e^{-}$ annihilation are calculated at the $Z$-boson pole.
In this article, we construct the scalar-diquark-scalar-diquark-antiquark type current to study the ground state triply charmed pentaquark states with the QCD sum rules. We separate the contributions of the negative-parity and positive parity triply charmed pentaquark states explicitly, and take the energy scale formula $μ=\sqrt{M^2_{P}-(3{\mathbb{M}}_c)^2}$ to determine the optimal energy scales of the QCD spectral densities. The predicted pentaquark masses can be confronted to the experimental data in the future.
The doubly charmed exotic state $T_{cc}$ recently discovered by the LHCb Collaboration could well be a $DD^{*}$ molecular state long predicted in various theoretical models, in particular, the $DD^*$ isoscalar axial vector molecular state predicted in the one-boson-exchange model. In this work, we study the $DDD^*$ system in the Gaussian Expansion Method with the $DD^*$ interaction derived from the one-boson-exchange model and constrained by the precise binding energy of $273\pm63$ keV of $T_{cc}$ with respect to the $D^{*+}D^0$ threshold. We show the existence of a $DDD^*$ state with a bindin…
In this work, we study the mass spectrum of the $Ω_{ccc}$ and $Ω_{bbb}$ baryons up to the $N=2$ shell within a nonrelativistic constituent quark model (NRCQM). The model parameters are adopted from the determinations by fitting the charmonium and bottomonium spectra in our previous works. The masses of the $Ω_{ccc}$ and $Ω_{bbb}$ baryon states predicted in present work reasonably agree with the results obtained with the Lattice QCD calculations. Furthermore, to provide more knowledge of the $Ω_{ccc}$ and $Ω_{bbb}$ states, we evaluate their radiative decays with the available masses and wave fu…
We investigate the mass spectra of exotic hadrons known as hexaquarks in the form of dibaryons. We use a phenomenological model based on an extended version of the Gürsey-Radicati mass formula for hadrons to include non-charmed baryons, charmed baryons, and non-strange dibaryons to be able to predict masses of potential dibaryon states. We perform six numerical fits of this model to input data for three different sets of masses of baryons and dibaryons. We find that the model can fit some of the data sets well, especially the sets including charmed baryons and non-strange dibaryons, and observ…
In this article, we construct the color-singlet-color-singlet type currents to study the scalar and axialvector $Ξ_{cc}Σ_c$ dibaryon states with QCD sum rules in details by taking into account both the dibaryon states and two-baryon scattering sates at the hadron side, and examine the existence of the $Ξ_{cc}Σ_c$ dibaryon states. Our calculations indicate that the two-baryon scattering states cannot saturate the QCD sum rules, it is necessary to introduce the dibaryon states, the color-singlet-color-singlet type currents couple potentially to the molecular states, not to the two-particle scatt…
The spectrum of excitations of triply-charmed baryons is computed using lattice QCD including dynamical light quark fields. Calculations are performed on anisotropic lattices with temporal and spatial spacings a_t = 0.0351(2) and a_s ~ 0.12 fm respectively and with pion mass of about 390 MeV. The spectrum obtained has baryonic states with well-defined total spin up to 7/2 and the low-lying states closely resemble the expectation from models with an SU(6)X O(3) symmetry. Energy splittings between extracted states, including those due to spin-orbit coupling in the heavy quark limit are computed …
Until now, the first reported doubly charmed baryon $Ξ_{cc}^{+}(3520)$ is still a puzzle. It was discovered and confirmed by SELEX collaboration, but not confirmed by LHCb, BABAR, BELLE, FOCUS, or any other collaboration. In the present paper, by employing Regge phenomenology, we first express the mass of the ground state ($L$=0) doubly charmed baryon $Ω_{cc}^{*+}$ as a function of masses of the well established light baryons and singly charmed baryons. Inserting the recent experimental data, the mass of $Ω_{cc}^{*+}$ is given to be 3809$\pm$36 MeV, which is independent of any unobservable par…
We present the ground and excited state spectra of singly, doubly and triply-charmed baryons by using dynamical lattice QCD. A large set of baryonic operators that respect the symmetries of the lattice and are obtained after subduction from their continuum analogues are utilized. These operators transform as irreducible representations of SU(3)$_F$ symmetry for flavour, SU(4) symmetry for Dirac spins of quarks and O(3) symmetry for orbital angular momenta. Using novel computational techniques correlation functions of these operators are generated and the variational method is exploited to extr…
We present the ground and excited state spectra of doubly and triply-charmed baryons by using lattice QCD with dynamical clover fermions. The pentaquark states, $P_{c}(4312)$, $P_{c}(4440)$ and $P_{c}(4450)$, can be nicely arranged into a multiplet of seven molecules of $\bar{D}^{(\ast)}Σ_{c}^{(\ast)}$ dictated by heavy quark spin symmetry, while the $Ξ_{cc}^{(\ast)}Σ_{c}^{(\ast)}$ system can be related to the $\bar{D}^{(\ast)}Σ_{c}^{(\ast)}$ system via heavy antiquark diquark symmetry. In this work we employ the one boson exchange model to study the interactions between $Ξ_{cc}^{(\ast)}$ and $Σ_{c}^{(\ast)}$ with constraints from the pentaquark system. We show that a multiplet of ten triply charmed dibaryons emerge naturally in…
The LHCb collaboration has recently observed three narrow pentaquark states --- the $P_c(4312)$, $P_c(4440)$, and $P_c(4457)$ ---that are located close to the $\bar{D} Σ_c$ and $\bar{D}^* Σ_c$ thresholds. Among the so-far proposed theoretical interpretations for these pentaquarks, the molecular hypothesis seems to be the preferred one. Nevertheless, in the molecular picture the spins of the $P_c(4440)$ and $P_c(4457)$ have not been unambiguously determined yet. In this letter we point out that heavy antiquark-diquark symmetry induces a model-independent relation between the spin-splitting in t…
We calculate the low-lying spectrum of charmed baryons in lattice QCD on the $32^3\times64$, $N_f=2+1$ PACS-CS gauge configurations at the almost physical pion mass of $\sim 156$ MeV/c$^2$. By employing a set of interpolating operators with different Dirac structures and quark-field smearings for the variational analysis, we extract the ground and first few excited states of the spin-$1/2$ and spin-$3/2$, singly-, doubly-, and triply-charmed baryons. Additionally, we study the $Ξ_c$-$Ξ_c^\prime$ mixing and the operator dependence of the excited states in a variational approach. We identify sev…
This paper provides results for the spectra of triply charmed and bottom baryons based on a constituent quark model approach. We take advantage of the assumption that potential models are expected to describe triply heavy baryons to a similar degree of accuracy as the successful results obtained in the charmonium and bottomonium sectors. The high precision calculation of the ground state and positive and negative parity excited states recently reported by nonperturbative lattice QCD provides us with a unique opportunity to confront model predictions with data. This comparison may also help to …

We present the results of a calculation of the positive-parity ground-state charmed-baryon spectrum using 2+1+1 flavors of dynamical quarks. The calculation uses a relativistic heavy-quark action for the valence charm quark, clover-Wilson fermions for the valence light and strange quarks, and HISQ sea quarks. The spectrum is calculated with a lightest pion mass around 220 MeV, and three lattice spacings (a \approx 0.12 fm, 0.09 fm, and 0.06 fm) are used to extrapolate to the continuum. The light-quark mass extrapolation is performed using heavy-hadron chiral perturbation theory up to O(m_pi^3)…
We investigate the baryon mass spectrum in quenched lattice QCD with exact chiral symmetry. For 100 gauge configurations generated with Wilson gauge action at $ β= 6.1 $ on the $ 20^3 \times 40 $ lattice, we compute (point-to-point) quark propagators for 30 quark masses in the range $ 67 {MeV} \le m_q \le 1790 {MeV} $. For baryons only composed of strange and charm quarks, their masses are extracted directly from the time correlation functions, while for those containing $ u (d) $ light quarks, their masses are obtained by chiral extrapolation to $ m_π= 135 $ MeV. Our results of baryon masses …
