Tensor powers of adjoint representations ot classical Lie groups

Exploiting particular features of classical groups, simple constructions are given for the irreducible constituents of the tensor square of the adjoint modules and the leading terms in higher tensor powers. Invariant Adjoint Tensors of the Classical Groups

For $\mathfrak{g}$ a simple Lie algebra and $G$ its adjoint group, the Chevalley map and work of Coxeter gives a concrete description of the algebra of $G$-invariant polynomials on $\mathfrak{g}$ in terms of traces over various representations. Here we provide an extension of this description to $G$-invariant tensors on $\mathfrak{g}$, although restricted to only providing generators and only for the classical Lie algebras.

Frobenius reciprocity and the Haagerup tensor product

In the context of operator-space modules over C*-algebras, we give a complete characterisation of those C*-correspondences whose associated Haagerup tensor product functors admit left adjoints. Derangements and tensor powers of adjoint modules for sl_n

We obtain the decomposition of the tensor space $\mathfrak{sl}_n^{\otimes k}$ as a module for $\mathfrak{sl}_n$, find an explicit formula for the multiplicities of its irreducible summands, and (when $n \ge 2k$) describe the centralizer algebra $C=End_{\mathfrak{sl}_n}(\mathfrak{sl}_n^{\otimes k})$ and its representations. The multiplicities of the irreducible summands are derangement numbers in several important instances, and the dimension of $C$ is given by the number of derangements of a set of $2k$ elements.

Ribbon tensor structure on the full representation categories of the singlet vertex algebras

Logarithmic Link Invariants of $\overline{U}_q^H(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$ and Asymptotic Dimensions of Singlet Vertex Algebras

On the Adjoint Representation of a Hopf Algebra

We consider the adjoint representation of a Hopf algebra $H$ focusing on the locally finite part, $H_{\text{adfin}}$, defined as the sum of all finite-dimensional subrepresentations. For virtually cocommutative $H$ (i.e., $H$ is finitely generated as module over a cocommutative Hopf subalgebra), we show that $H_{\text{adfin}}$ is a Hopf subalgebra of $H$. Topological tensor representations of gl(V) for a space V of countable dimension

The Lie algebra $gl(V)$ is the Lie algebra of all endomorphisms of a countable-dimensional complex vector space $V$. We define a tensor category of topological representations of the Lie algebra $gl(V)$, so that $V$, its dual and the adjoint representation $gl(V)$ are objects of this category. This makes it an analogue of the category of finite-dimensional modules over the finite-dimensional Lie algebra $gl(n)$. Our main result is that this category is antiequivalent as a symmetric monoidal category to the category of tensor representations of the Lie algebra of finitary infinite matrices.
