Gauging the global $B-L$ (Baryon number minus Lepton number) symmetry in the Standard Model (SM) is well-motivated since anomaly cancellations require the introduction of three right-handed neutrinos (RHNs) which play an essential role in naturally generating tiny SM neutrino masses through the seesaw mechanism. In the context of the $B-L$ extended SM, we propose a pseudo-Goldstone boson dark matter (DM) scenario in which the imaginary component of a complex $B-L$ Higgs field serves as the DM in the universe. The DM relic density is determined by the SM Higgs boson mediated process, but its elastic scattering with nucleons through the exchange of Higgs bosons is highly suppressed due to its pseudo-Goldstone boson nature. The model is therefore free from the constraints arising from direct DM detection experiments. We identify regions of the model parameter space for reproducing the observed DM density compatible with the constraints from the Large Hadron Collider and the indirect DM searches by Fermi-LAT and MAGIC.
A pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson (pNGB) is an attractive candidate for dark matter since the current severe limits of dark matter direct detection experiments are naturally evaded by its nature. We construct a model with pNGB dark matter based on a {\it gauged} $U(1)_{B-L}$ symmetry, where no ad-hoc global symmetry is assumed. The model keeps natural suppression mechanism for the dark matter direct detection cross section. On the other hand, the pNGB can decay through the new high scale suppressed operators. We show that the pNGB has long enough lifetime to be a dark matter in the wide range of …
In a recent paper [Phys. Rev. D73, 075005 (2006)], the authors presented the lepton number violation mechanism in the economic version of the 3-3-1 model, without explicit pointing where the pseudo Goldstone Majoron lies. In this comment we clarify this point and show an extended version of the model where the Goldstone Majoron becomes a gauge away would be Majoron.
We analyze the chiral limit in dense isospin-asymmetric nuclear matter. It is shown that the pseudo-Goldstone modes in this system are qualitatively different from the case of isospin-symmetric matter.
We consider the production of the lightest pseudo-Goldstone bosons at future colliders through the vector resonances predicted by the extended BESS model, which consists of an effective lagrangian parametrization with dynamical symmetry breaking, describing scalar, vector and axial-vector bound states in a rather general framework. We find that the detection of pseudo-Goldstone pairs at LHC requires a careful evaluation of backgrounds. For e+e- collisions in the TeV range the backgrounds can be easily reduced and the detection of pseudo-Goldstone pairs is generally easier.
We study the beta functions of the leading, two-derivative terms of the left-gauged SU(N) nonlinear sigma-model in d dimensions. In d>2, we find the usual Gaussian ultraviolet fixed point for the gauge coupling and an attractive non-Gaussian fixed point for the Goldstone boson coupling. The position of the latter fixed point controls the chiral expansion, unitarity and the strength of the tree-level Goldstone boson scattering amplitudes. Attention is paid to the gauge- and scheme-dependence of the results.
In the standard model extended by a single complex scalar boson with a softly broken global U(1) symmetry, a pseudo Nambu-Goldstone boson becomes a candidate for dark matter. In this paper, we discuss the direct detection of the pseudo Nambu-Goldstone boson dark matter. Since the tree-level amplitude for dark matter-nucleon scattering vanishes, higher order quantum corrections for the amplitude should be taken into account. We perform the calculation at the next-to-leading order in QCD in a systematic manner.
Pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone dark matter connected to Standard Model fermion through the Higgs portal has the property that its direct detection vanishes in the zero momentum transfer limit due to a cancellation mechanism. This feature helps the Pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone dark matter to escape the stringent constraints from direct detection experiments. In this paper we explore new constraints on parameter space of non-zero momentum transfer from the direct detection experiments, and also from the neutron star temperature via the dark matter reheating mechanism.
Pseudo-Goldstone dark matter coupled to the Standard Model via the Higgs portal offers an attractive framework for phenomenologically viable pseudo-scalar dark matter. It enjoys natural suppression of the direct detection rate due to the vanishing of the relevant (tree level) Goldstone boson vertex at zero momentum transfer, which makes light WIMP-like dark matter consistent with the strong current bounds. In this work, we explore prospects of detecting pseudo-Goldstone dark matter at the LHC, focusing on the vector boson fusion (VBF) channel with missing energy. We find that, in substantial r…
We study the bosonic excitations in the favorite cubic three flavor crystalline LOFF phases of QCD. We calculate in the Ginzburg-Landau approximation the masses of the eight pseudo Nambu-Goldstone Bosons (NGB) present in the low energy theory. We also compute the decay constants of the massless NGB Goldstones associated to superfluidity as well as those of the eight pseudo NGB. Differently from the corresponding situation in the Color-Flavor-Locking phase, we find that meson condensation phases are not expected in the present scenario.
We discuss the Top Mode pseudo Nambu-Goldstone boson Higgs (TMpNGBH) model which has recently been proposed as a variant of the top quark condensate model in light of the 125 GeV Higgs boson discovered at the LHC. In this talk, we focus on the vacuum alignment and the phenomenologies of characteristic particles of the TMpNGBH model.
A promising solution to the doublet-triplet splitting problem of SUSY GUT's is the Higgs as pseudo-Goldstone boson mechanism. We present two models which naturally implement this idea and extend one of them to include fermion masses. We examine the phenomenological consequences of this mechanism and present the favored parameter region.
Pseudo-Goldstone bosons couple with photons through a P and T violating interaction of the form ${\cal {L_I}}=g_{aγγ}~ a F\tilde F$. Strong magnetic fields in rotating compact stars induce a non-zero ${\vec E}\cdot{\vec B}$ outside the stellar surface which acts as a source for the pseudo-scalar field. Pulsar signals propagating through this pseudo-scalar `hair' suffer a differential time lag between the left and the right circularly polarised modes because of the P and T violating pseudoscalar boson-photon interaction. Determination of this time lag upto a microsecond accuracy can lead to a m…
We construct the non-linear realized Lagrangian for the Goldstone Bosons associated to the breaking pattern of SU(4) to SO(4). This pattern is expected to occur in any Technicolor extension of the standard model featuring two Dirac fermions transforming according to real representations of the underlying gauge group. We concentrate on the Minimal Walking Technicolor quantum number assignments with respect to the standard model symmetries. We demonstrate that for, any choice of the quantum numbers, consistent with gauge and Witten anomalies the spectrum of the pseudo Goldstone Bosons contains e…
A short overview of recent progress in describing kaon and pion decays within Chiral Perturbation Theory is presented. Particular attention is devoted to the issues of final-state interactions and isospin breaking in $K \to 2 π$, as well as to the estimate of long-distance contributions in $K \to \ell^+\ell^- (π)$.
We study a dark matter model with one singlet complex scalar and two Higgs doublets. The scalar potential respects a softly broken global symmetry, which makes the imaginary part of the singlet become a pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson acting as a dark matter candidate. The pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone nature of the boson leads to the vanishing of its tree-level scattering amplitude off nucleons at zero momentum transfer. Therefore, although the interaction strength could be sufficiently large to yield a viable relic abundance via thermal mechanism, direct detection is incapable of probing this candidat…
We consider a model with a small explicit breaking of a global symmetry, as suggested by gravitational arguments. Our model has one scalar field transforming under a non-anomalous U(1) symmetry, and coupled lo matter and to gauge bosons. The spontaneous breaking of the explicitly broken symmetry gives rise to a massive pseudo-Goldstone boson. We analyze thermal and non-thermal production of this particle in the early universe, and perform a systematic study of astrophysical and cosmological constraints on its properties. We find that for very suppressed explicit breaking the pseudo-Goldstone b…
In this report we present a review of recent developments in the TC/ETC theories, concentrating on the theoretical estimations and the phenomenological analysis about the Non-Oblique corrections on the $Zb\overline{b}$ vertex from ETC dynamics and Pseudo-Goldstone Bosons. The relevant studies about the vertex corrections on other processes from the PGBs were also considered.
We study pseudo-Goldstone dark matter in the $\mathbb{Z}_{3}$ complex scalar singlet model. Because the direct detection spin-independent cross section is suppressed, such dark matter is allowed in a large mass range. Unlike in the original model stabilized by a parity, due to the cubic coupling of the singlet the $\mathbb{Z}_{3}$ model can accommodate first-order phase transitions that give rise to a stochastic gravitational wave signal potentially observable in future space-based detectors.
Technicolor models with the GIM mechanism are successful solutions to common problems of technicolor model building. These models have a rich set of new particles and interactions. We present the spectrum of the lightest exotic particles in such models and their signatures in present and future collider experiments.
In a class of models of dynamical symmetry breaking not ruled out by the available data, the lightest neutral pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson P0 contains only down-type techniquarks and charged technileptons. Its mass scale is naturally determined by the b-quark and therefore it is likely to be light. As the presence of pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone bosons in models of dynamical symmetry breaking is a quite general feature, the search of the P0 at colliders is an interesting opportunity of putting limits on or discovering a dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking scenario. In this note we discuss the pr…
We present a novel way of realizing the pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson mechanism at all orders in perturbation theory, for the doublet-triplet splitting in supersymmetric grand unified theories. The global symmetries of the Higgs sector are attributed to a non-vectorlike Higgs content, which is consistent with unbroken supersymmetry in a scenario with flat extra dimensions and branes. We also show how in such a model one can naturally obtain a realistic pattern for the Standard Model fermion masses and mixings.
We propose a model with flavor dependent gauged symmetries of $\displaystyle \prod_{i=1}^3 U(1)_{B_i-L_i}$ with $i$ the family indices. After formulating the renormalizable Yukawa Lagrangian, Higgs potential and kinetic term, we study the lepton sector based on a successful two-zero texture without introducing extra scalar bosons to avoid the dangerous Goldstone bosons. In particular, we discuss the muon related phenomenologies via additional neutral gauge bosons. In our numerical analysis, we explore the allowed parameter space, in which the anomaly of $B \to K^* \bar μμ$ can be explained.
The gluon-gluon-higgs amplitude is investigated in the context of 5D models of gauge-higgs unification. A simple algorithm allows to include, in a fully analytical way, the contribution of the whole Kaluza-Klein tower of a 5D quark to the amplitude. This algorithm is applied to realistic models based on SO(5) symmetry. Within the studied classes of models, the higgs production cross section is always suppressed.
We pursue a possibility that a pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson is lurking around or below the intermediate scale. To this end we consider an anomaly-free global flavor symmetry, and construct models where the pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson is coupled preferentially to leptons. The experimental and astrophysical bounds derived from couplings to photons and nucleons are significantly relaxed. If sufficiently light, the pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson contributes to dark matter, and interestingly, it generally decays into photons through couplings arising from threshold corrections. We show that the rece…
We derive the general structure of dimension-six derivative interactions in the N Higgs doublet models, where Higgs fields arise as pseudo Nambu-Goldstone modes of a strongly interacting sector. We show that there are several relations among the dimension-six operators, and therefore the number of independent operators decreases compared with models on which only SU(2)_L x U(1)_Y invariance is imposed. As an explicit example, we derive scattering amplitudes of longitudinal gauge bosons and Higgs bosons at high energy on models involving two Higgs doublets, and compare them with the amplitudes …
Possible deviations from a low-energy theorem for the scattering of strongly interacting longitudinally polarized $W$ and $Z$ bosons are discussed within a particular scheme of electroweak symmetry breaking. The scheme (suggested earlier by other authors in a slightly different context) is based on spontaneous breakdown of a SU(4) symmetry to custodial SU(2) subgroup. The physical spectrum of such a model contains a set of relatively light pseudo-Goldstone bosons whose interactions with vector bosons modify the low-energy theorem proven for a ``minimal'' symmetry-breaking sector. The Goldstone…
It has been found that a pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson dark matter suppresses the amplitude for elastic scattering with nuclei in non-relativistic limit, and thus can naturally evade the strong constraint of dark matter direct detection experiments. In this paper, we show that non-zero elastic scattering cross section can be induced if the mediator mass is as small as momentum transfer. The predicted recoil energy spectrum can differ from that for usual thermal dark matter. Together with the relevant constraints such as thermal relic abundance, indirect detection and Higgs decays, we investigat…
If the electroweak symmetry breaking sector contains colored particles weighing a few hundred GeV, then they will be copiously produced at a hadron supercollider. Colored technipions can rescatter into pairs of gauge bosons. As proposed by Bagger, Dawson, and Valencia, this leads to gauge boson pair rates far larger than in the standard model. In this note we reconsider this mechanism, and illustrate it in a model in which the rates can be reliably calculated. The observation of both an enhanced rate of gauge-boson-pair events and colored particles would be a signal that the colored particles …
We present a unified theory of inflation, neutrino mass, baryogenesis and dark matter where global lepton number symmetry and its breaking play a crucial role. The basic idea is to use a lepton number carrying complex scalar field as the inflaton as well as the field that implements Affleck-Dine (AD) leptogenesis. Dark matter is the massive majoron which is a pseudo-Goldstone boson, resulting from the spontaneous breaking of lepton number symmetry supplemented by explicit lepton number violation needed to implement AD leptogenesis. The magnitude of the resulting $n_B/s$ in the model is related…
We propose a possibility of the 125 GeV Higgs being a pseudo-Goldstone boson in supersymmetry with extra vector-like fermions. Higgs mass is obtained from loops of top quark and vector-like fermions from the global symmetry breaking scale f at around TeV. The mu, Bmu/mu \sim f are generated from the dynamics of global symmetry breaking and the Higgs quartic coupling vanishes at f as tan beta \simeq 1. The relation of msoft \sim $4πM_Z$ with f \sim mu \sim m_soft \sim TeV is obtained and large mu does not cause a fine tuning for the electroweak symmetry breaking. The Higgs to di-photon rate can…
In certain mild extensions of the Standard Model, spin-independent long range forces can arise by exchange of two very light pseudoscalar spin--0 bosons. In particular, we have in mind models in which these bosons do not have direct tree level couplings to ordinary fermions. Using the dispersion theoretical method, we find a $1/r^{3}$ behaviour of the potential for the exchange of very light pseudoscalars and a $1/r^{7}$ dependence if the pseudoscalars are true massless Goldstone bosons.
There are few robust solutions to the doublet-triplet splitting problem in supersymmetric GUT theories. One of the more promising solutions is the Higgs as pseudo-Goldstone boson mechanism. In its minimal implementation, such a solution places an additional restriction on the parameter space of the minimal supersymmetric standard model. A testable consequence of this constraint is an equation for $\tan β$. We present this restriction and study its solutions in order to constrain the allowed parameter space. Thus the assumptions on the GUT scale Higgs sector should yield testable predictions fo…
We consider cases where the dark matter-nucleon interaction is naturally suppressed. We explicitly show that by extending the standard model scalar sector by a number of singlets, can lead to a vanishing direct detection cross section, if some softly broken symmetries are imposed in the dark sector. In particular, it is shown that if said symmetries are $SU(2)$ ($SU(N)$) and $U(1) \times S_N$, then the resulting pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone bosons can constitute the dark matter of the Universe, while naturally explaining the missing signal in nuclear recoil experiments.
We construct a 5D SUSY SU(6) GUT on an $S^{(1)}/Z_2\tm Z_2'$ orbifold. The first stage of gauge symmetry breaking occurs through compactification and a specific selection of boundary conditions. Additional symmetries play a crucial role for the generation of $μ$ and $Bμ$ terms of appropriate values: with a $SU(2)_{cus}$ custodial symmetry the Higgs doublets naturally emerge as massless pseudo-Goldstone bosons in the unbroken SUSY limit. After SUSY breaking they get masses of the order of the weak scale. If instead of $SU(2)_{cus}$ a discrete $Z_5$ symmetry is applied the Higgs doublet's masses…
A mechanism is discussed to obtain light scalar fields from a spontaneously broken continuous symmetry without explicitly breaking it. If there is a continuous manifold of classical vacua in orbit space, its tangent directions describe classically massless fields that may acquire mass from perturbations of the potential that do not break the symmetry. We consider the simplest possible example, involving a scalar field in the adjoint representation of SU(N). We study the scalar mass spectrum and its RG running at one-loop level including scalar and pseudoscalar Yukawa couplings to a massive Dir…
We study the breaking of supersymmetry in models with anomalous U(1). These models are simple to construct and contain natural candidates for being the messengers of gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking. When some of the ordinary matter fields transform under the anomalous U(1), we find a hybrid scenario in which the U(1) and the gauge interactions mediate the breaking of supersymmetry. This leads to a hierarchy of soft masses between the charged and neutral fields and provides a solution to the $μ$-problem. Among these models, we present a scenario in which the Higgs arises as a pseudo-Golds…
We calculate the prominent perturbative contributions shaping the one-loop scalar spectrum of the minimal non-supersymmetric renormalizable $SO(10)$ Higgs model whose unified gauge symmetry is spontaneously broken by an adjoint scalar. Focusing on its potentially realistic $45\oplus 126$ variant in which the rank is reduced by a VEV of the 5-index self-dual antisymmetric tensor, we provide a thorough analysis of the corresponding one-loop Coleman-Weinberg potential, paying particular attention to the masses of the potentially tachyonic pseudo-Goldstone bosons (PGBs) transforming as $(8,1,0)$ a…
We consider a model of dynamical neutrino masses via the see-saw mechanism. Nambu-Goldstone bosons (majorons) arise associated with the formation of the heavy right-handed majorana masses. These bosons then acquire naturally soft masses (become pNGB's) at loop level via the Higgs-Yukawa mass terms. These models, like the original neutrino pNGB quintessence schemes of the 1980's that proceed through the Dirac masses, are natural, have cosmological implications through mass varying neutrinos, long range forces, and provide a soft potential for dark energy. We further argue that these models can …
We propose an ultraviolet completion model for pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone dark matter with a hidden $\mathrm{U}(1)$ gauge symmetry. Compared to previous studies, this setup is simpler, introducing less interactions. Dark matter scattering off nucleons is highly suppressed by the ultraviolet scale and direct detection constraints can be easily evaded. The kinetic mixing between the hidden $\mathrm{U}(1)$ and the $\mathrm{U}(1)_\mathrm{Y}$ gauge fields would lead to dark matter decays. We find that the current bound on the dark matter lifetime implies that the ultraviolet scale should be higher than…
In the context of a Coleman-Weinberg mechanism for the Higgs boson mass, we address the strong CP problem. We show that a DFSZ-like invisible axion model with a gauge-singlet complex scalar field S, whose couplings to the Standard Model are naturally ultra-weak, can solve the strong CP problem and simultaneously generate acceptable electroweak symmetry breaking. The ultra-weak couplings of the singlet S are associated with underlying approximate shift symmetries that act as custodial symmetries and maintain technical naturalness. The model also contains a very light pseudo-Goldstone dilaton th…
Pseudo-Goldstone bosons in 4D strongly coupled theories have a dual description in terms of 5D gauge theories in warped backgrounds. We introduce systematic methods of computing the pseudo-Goldstone potential for an arbitrary warp factor in 5D. When applied to electroweak symmetry breaking, our approach clarifies the relation of physical observables to geometrical quantities in five dimensions.
We consider an extension of the Standard Model with the global symmetry breaking pattern SO(5)/SO(4), where the Higgs boson arises as a pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson. The scalar content of the theory consists of a Standard-Model-like Higgs field and an extra real scalar field. The flavour sector of the model is extended by two right-handed neutrinos compatible with the observed light-neutrino phenomenology, and we find that the correct vacuum alignment determines the mass of the heavier neutrino eigenstate to be around 80 TeV. The new singlet-scalar state generates dynamically a Majorana mass t…
Four of the five expected Goldstone modes, which will be eaten up by gauge fields, in neutral two-flavor color superconductor are actually pseudo-Goldstone modes, and their degenerated mass is exactly the magnitude of the color chemical potential, which is introduced to guarantee the color neutrality at moderate baryon density.
The capability of the linear collider to discover and study the lightest neutral pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson P_0 of dynamical symmetry breaking models in the e+e- and gamma gamma modes is presented. For a number of technicolor N_TC=4, the discovery of the P_0 at an e+e- collider via the reaction e+e- -> gamma P_0 should be possible for an integrated luminosity of L=100 fb^-1 at E=500 GeV as long as m_{P_0} is not near m_Z. In the gamma gamma collider mode the gamma gamma -> P_0 -> b anti b signal should be very robust and could be measured with high statistical accuracy for a broad range of m…
We study the top quark pair production process p+p(anti-p)-->top+antitop in various kinds of technicolor (TC) models at the Fermilab Tevatron Run II and the CERN LHC. The s-channel neutral pseudo-Goldstone bosons (PGB's) contribute dominately to the production amplitudes from its coupling to the gluons through the triangle loops of techniquarks and the top quark. Cross sections in different TC models with s-channel PGB contributions are calculated. It is shown that the PGB effects can be experimentally tested and different TC models under consideration can be distinguished at the LHC. Therefor…
The present apparent cosmological constant is interpreted as the potential of the lightest pseudo Goldstone boson. Some numerical relations among cosmological parameters and particle masses are shown to arise from the mixture of this very light particle, whose interaction is of the gravitational order, with other pseudo Goldstone bosons like the pion and the axion which feel the strong interaction.
The doublet-triplet splitting problem is perhaps the most problematic aspect of supersymmetric grand unified theories. It can be argued that the most natural reason for the Higgs doublets to be light is that they are pseudo-Goldstone bosons associated with the spontaneous breakdown of an accidental global symmetry. In this paper we discuss the possibility of implementing this idea in the SU(6) model of refs. \cite{Zur,Bar2,Bar3,Bar4}. We show that although it is simple to generate an accidental symmetry of the renormalizable terms of the potential, it is quite difficult to construct a model wh…
Pseudo Nambu-Goldstone bosons (pNGBs) are naturally light spin-zero particles, which can be interesting dark matter (DM) candidates. We study the phenomenology of a pNGB theta associated with an approximate symmetry of the neutrino seesaw sector. A small coupling of theta to the Higgs boson is induced radiatively by the neutrino Yukawa couplings. By virtue of this Higgs portal interaction (i) the pNGB acquires a mass m_theta proportional to the electroweak scale, and (ii) the observed DM relic density can be generated by the freeze-in of theta-particles with mass m_theta ~ 3 MeV. Alternatively…
In contrast to the conventional treatment of gauge theories, in the background-field method the Ward identities for connected Green functions are not violated by Dyson summation of self-energies in finite orders of perturbation theory. Thus, Dyson summation does not spoil gauge cancelations at high energies which are ruled by the Goldstone-boson equivalence theorem. Moreover, in the background-field method the precise formulation of the equivalence theorem in higher orders (including questions of renormalization) is simplified rendering actual calculations easier. Finally, the equivalence theo…
We examine the nature of electroweak Baryogenesis when the Higgs boson's properties are modified by the effects of new physics. We utilize the effective potential to one loop (ring improving the finite temperature perturbative expansion) while retaining parametrically enhanced dimension six operators of O(v^2/f^2) in the Higgs sector. These parametrically enhanced operators would be present if the Higgs is a pseudo-goldstone boson of a new physics sector with a characteristic mass scale Lambda ~ TeV, a coupling constant (4 pi) > g > 1 and a strong decay constant scale f = Lambda/g. We find tha…

We calculate the axial current decay constants of taste non-Goldstone pions and kaons in staggered chiral perturbation theory through next-to-leading order. The results are a simple generalization of the results for the taste Goldstone case. New low-energy couplings are limited to analytic corrections that vanish in the continuum limit; certain coefficients of the chiral logarithms are modified, but they contain no new couplings. We report results for quenched, fully dynamical, and partially quenched cases of interest in the chiral SU(3) and SU(2) theories.
We study the early kinetic decoupling effect in a pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone (pNG) dark matter (DM) model. The pNG DM scattering processes with particles in the thermal bath in the early Universe are suppressed by the small momentum transfer. As a result, kinetic equilibrium is not maintained, and the temperature of DM is different from the temperature of the thermal bath at the freeze-out era. This temperature difference affects the thermal relic abundance of DM. We investigate the early kinetic decoupling in the Higgs resonance region, 50 GeV $\lesssim m_χ\lesssim m_h/2$, where $m_χ$ is the mass…
We propose a pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson (pNGB) dark matter (DM) model based on an additional non-Abelian gauge symmetry $SU(2)_D$. The gauge symmetry $SU(2)_D$ is spontaneously broken to a global custodial symmetry $U(1)_V$ via the nonvanishing vacuum expectation values of $SU(2)_D$ doublet and triplet scalar fields. Due to the exact global symmetry $U(1)_V$, the lightest $U(1)_V$ charged particle becomes stable. We assume that the lightest charged particle in the model is the charged complex pNGB, which we regard as DM. It avoids the strong constraints from current DM direct detection exper…
