We study a simplest viable dark matter model with a real singlet scalar, vector-like singlet and a doublet lepton. We find a considerable enhancement in the allowed region of the scalar dark matter parameter spaces under the influence of the new Yukawa coupling. The Yukawa coupling associate with the fermion sector heavily dominant the dark matter parameter spaces satisfying the current relic density of the Universe. Dilepton$+\slashed{E}_T$ signature arising from the new fermionic sector can observe at Large Hadron Collider (LHC). We perform such analysis in the context of 14 TeV LHC experiments with a future integrated luminosity of 3000 ${\rm fb^{-1}}$. We found that a large region of the parameter spaces can be probed by the LHC experiments. The projected exclusion/discovery reach of direct heavy charged fermion searches in this channels is analyzed by performing a detailed cut based collider analysis. The projected exclusion contour reaches up to $1050-1380~{\rm GeV}$ for 3000 ${\rm fb^{-1}}$ for a light dark matter $\mathcal{O}(10)$ GeV from searches in the $ pp \rightarrow E_1^\pm E_1^\mp, E_1^\pm\rightarrow l^\pm S \rightarrow ll + \slashed{E}_T$ channel.
We investigate lepton flavor violation (LFV) in the the singlet-triplet scotogenic model in which neutrinos acquire non-zero masses at the 1-loop level. In contrast to the most popular variant of this setup, the singlet scotogenic model, this version includes a triplet fermion as well as a triplet scalar, leading to a scenario with a richer dark matter phenomenology. Taking into account results from neutrino oscillation experiments, we explore some aspects of the LFV phenomenology of the model. In particular, we study the relative weight of the dipole operators with respect to other contributi…
We consider the possibility that the dark matter particle is a scalar WIMP messenger associated to neutrino mass generation, made stable by the same symmetry responsible for the radiative origin of neutrino mass. We focus on some of the implications of this proposal as realized within the singlet-triplet scotogenic dark matter model. We identify consistent parameter sets consistent both with neutrino mass and the observed dark matter abundance. Finally we characterize the expected phenomenological profile of heavy Higgs boson physics at the LHC as well as at future linear Colliders.
In this letter, we propose an extension of the scotogenic model where singlet Majorana particle can be dark matter (DM) without the need of a highly suppressed scalar coupling of the order $O(10^{-10})$. For that, the SM is extended with three singlet Majorana fermions, an inert scalar doublet, and two (a complex and a real) singlet scalars, with a global $Z_{4}$ symmetry that is spontaneously broken into $Z_{2}$ at a scale higher than the electroweak one by the vev of the complex singlet scalar. In this setup, the smallness of neutrino mass is achieved via the cancellation between three diagr…
We perform a complete analysis of the consistency of the singlet-triplet scotogenic model, where both dark matter and neutrino masses can be explained. We determine the parameter space that yields the proper thermal relic density been in agreement with neutrino physics, lepton flavor violation, direct and indirect dark matter searches. In particular, we calculate the dark matter annihilation into two photons, finding that the corresponding cross-section is below the present bounds reported by the Fermi-LAT and H.E.S.S. collaborations. We also determine the spin-dependent cross-section for dark…
We study an extension of the scotogenic model with a real singlet scalar. It gives an origin of the mass of right-handed neutrinos and plays a role of inflaton through a non-minimal coupling with Ricci scalar. While an inert doublet scalar is an indispensable ingredient for neutrino mass generation in the model, it is also a promising dark matter (DM) candidate. Introduction of the singlet scalar could affect its nature of DM if mass of the singlet scalar is in a resonance region. We focus our study on such a case where inflaton mass is expected to be in a TeV range and reheating temperature i…
The Scotogenic Model is one of the most minimal models to account for both neutrino masses and dark matter (DM). In this model, neutrino masses are generated at the one-loop level, and in principle, both the lightest fermion singlet and the lightest neutral component of the scalar doublet can be viable DM candidates. However, the correct DM relic abundance can only be obtained in somewhat small regions of the parameter space, as there are strong constraints stemming from lepton flavour violation, neutrino masses, electroweak precision tests and direct detection. For the case of scalar DM, a su…
We study the dark matter phenomenology of scotogenic frameworks through a rather illustrative model extending the Standard Model by scalar and fermionic singlets and doublets. Such a setup is phenomenologically attractive since it provides the radiative generation of neutrino masses, while also including viable candidates for cold dark matter. We employ a Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithm to explore the associated parameter space in view of numerous constraints stemming from the Higgs mass, the neutrino sector, dark matter, and lepton-flavour violating processes. After a general discussion of…

The scotogenic type I and type III seesaw models are good candidates to explain the existence of neutrino masses and dark matter simultaneously. However, since triplet fermions have SU(2) gauge interaction, they cannot be out of equilibrium before the electroweak symmetry breaking. Thus, leptogenesis seems to be difficult within a framework of the pure type III seesaw model. Some extension seems to be required to solve this fault. A model extended by introducing a singlet fermion could be such a simple example. If the singlet fermion is in the thermal equilibrium even for its extremely small n…
A variation of the original 2006 radiative seesaw model of neutrino mass through dark matter is shown to realize the notion of inverse seesaw naturally. The dark-matter candidate here is the lightest of three real singlet scalars which may also carry flavor.
We analyse the signatures at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) of the scotogenic model, when the lightest Z2-odd particle is a singlet fermion and a feebly interacting massive particle (FIMP). We further assume that the singlet fermion constitutes the dark matter and that it is produced in the early Universe via the freeze-in mechanism. The small couplings required to reproduce the observed dark matter abundance translate into decay-lengths for the next-to-lightest Z2-odd particle which can be macroscopic, potentially leading to spectacular signatures at the LHC. We characterize the possible sig…
The recent high precision measurement of $W$ boson mass by CDF-II collaboration points to the contribution(s) of new physics beyond the Standard Model. One of the minimalistic ways to account for the anomalous $W$ boson mass is by introducing a hyperchargeless real $SU(2)_L$ triplet scalar whose vacuum expectation value explicitly contributes to the $W$ boson mass at the tree level while the $Z$ boson mass remains the same. Such a triplet can be naturally embedded in a singlet-triplet scotogenic model for one loop neutrino mass generated by dark sector particles running in the loop. We discuss…
We study the phenomenology of a model that addresses the neutrino mass, dark matter, and generation of the electroweak scale in a single framework. Electroweak symmetry breaking is realized via the Coleman-Weinberg mechanism in a classically scale invariant theory, while the neutrino mass is generated radiatively through interactions with dark matter in a typically scotogenic manner. The model introduces a scalar triplet and singlet and a vector-like fermion doublet that carry an odd parity of $Z_2$, and an even parity scalar singlet that helps preserve classical scale invariance. We sample ov…
Electric dipole moments (EDMs) of charged leptons arise from a new source of CP violation in the lepton sector. In this paper, we calculate the EDMs of the charged leptons in the minimal scotogenic model with two singlet fermions, and the models extended with one or two triplet fermions instead of the singlet fermions, taking into account the constraints of the neutrino oscillation data, the charged lepton flavor violation and perturbative unitarity bound for the Yukawa couplings. We show that the hybrid model with one singlet and one triplet fermions predicts an electron EDM larger than the o…
We investigate a minimal scale-invariant implementation of the scotogenic model and show that viable electroweak symmetry breaking can occur while simultaneously generating one-loop neutrino masses and the dark matter relic abundance. The model predicts the existence of a singlet scalar (dilaton) that plays the dual roles of triggering electroweak symmetry breaking and sourcing lepton number violation. Important constraints are studied, including those from lepton flavor violating effects and dark matter direct-detection experiments. The latter turn out to be somewhat severe, already excluding…
We study an extension of the minimal gauged $L_μ-L_τ$ model in order to explain the anomalous magnetic moments of muon and electron simultaneously. Presence of an additional scalar doublet $η$ and an in-built $Z_2$ symmetry under which the right handed singlet fermions and $η$ are odd, leads to light neutrino mass in scotogenic fashion along with a stable dark matter candidate. In spite of the possibility of having positive and negative contributions to $(g-2)$ from vector boson and charged scalar loops respectively, the minimal scotogenic $L_μ-L_τ$ model can not explain muon and electron $(g-…
We present radiative one-loop neutrino mass model with hypercharge zero scalar triplet in conjunction with another charged singlet scalar and an additional vectorlike lepton doublet. We study three variants of this mass model: the first one without additional beyond-SM symmetry, the second with imposed DM-stabilizing discrete Z_2 symmetry, and the third in which this Z_2 symmetry is promoted to the gauge symmetry U(1)_D. The two latter cases are scotogenic, with a neutral component of the scalar triplet as a dark matter candidate. In first scotogenic model the Z_2-odd dark matter candidate is …
Non-zero neutrino mass and dark matter cast a shadow over the success of the Standard Model (SM) of Particle Physics. The most straightforward extension of the SM to explain these two phenomena is the Scotogenic model, where the SM particle spectrum extends with three isospin singlet right-handed neutrinos and one doublet scalar while all of these being odd under $Z_2$ symmetry. In this work, we have considered the lightest right-handed neutrino as the dark matter candidate and freeze-out mechanism for producing observed dark matter relic density. The observed dark matter relic density, neutri…
We study a simple extension of the Standard Model that accounts for neutrino masses and dark matter. The Standard Model is augmented by two Higgs doublets and one Dirac singlet fermion, all charged under a new dark global symmetry. It is a generalised version of the Scotogenic Model with Dirac fermion dark matter. Masses for two neutrinos are generated radiatively at one-loop level. We study the case where the singlet fermion constitutes the dark matter of the Universe. We study in depth the phenomenology of the model, in particular the complementarity between dark matter direct detection and …
We demonstrate that the condition of vacuum stability severely restricts scenarios with fermionic WIMP dark matter in the scotogenic model. The sizable Yukawa couplings that are required to satisfy the dark matter constraint via thermal freeze-out in these scenarios tend to destabilise the vacuum at scales below that of the heaviest singlet fermion, rendering the model inconsistent from a theoretical point of view. By means of a scan over the parameter space, we study the impact of these renormalisation group effects on the viable regions of this model. Our analysis shows that a fraction of mo…
We assume a dark $U_{D}$ symmetric hidden sector and explore its possible content such that neutrino mass and Dark Matter are generated through the scotogenic mechanism. The hidden sector is considered analogue to the Standard Model, namely the charge assignment of hidden fermions is chiral and anomaly-free. Moreover, $U_{D}$ is assumed broken by an only Higgs singlet that also generates masses to all hidden fermions, therefore the charge assignment is subjected to additional restriction. We search by computer program for charge assignments satisfying all these conditions, and identify the res…
We study the impact that future lepton flavor violating experiments will have on the viable parameter space of the scotogenic model. Within this model, the dark matter particle is assumed to be the lightest singlet fermion and two cases are considered depending on how its relic density is obtained: via self-annihilations or via coannihilations with the scalars. For each case, a scan over the parameter space of the model is used to obtain a large sample of viable points, which we subsequently analyze. We find that future lepton flavor violating experiments, in particular those searching for $μ\…
We present a singly charged scalar extension of the Scotogenic model, ScotoZee, which resolves the recently reported deviations in $W$ boson mass as well as lepton $g-2$. The model admits a scalar or a fermionic dark matter while realizing naturally small radiative neutrino masses. The mass splitting of $\sim 100$ GeV, required by the shift in $W$ boson mass, among the inert doublets fields can be evaded by its mixing with the singlet scalar, which is also key to resolving $(g-2)_\ell$ anomaly within $1σ$. We establish the consistency of this framework with dark matter relic abundance while sa…
In this work, we present a scotogenic model, where the neutrino mass is generated at one-loop diagrams. The standard model (SM) is extended by three singlet Majorana fermions and two inert scalar doublets instead of one doublet as in the minimal scotogenic model. The model scalar sector includes two CP-even, two CP-odd and two charged scalars in addition to the Higgs. The dark matter (DM) candidate could be either the light Majorana fermion (Majorana DM), or the lightest among the CP-even and the CP-odd scalars (scalar DM). We show that the model accommodates both Majorana and scalar DM within…

In this paper, we propose a viable approach to realise two texture-zeros in the scotogenic model with flavor dependent $U(1)_{B-2L_α-L_β}$ gauge symmetry. These models are extended by two right-handed singlets $N_{Ri}$ and two inert scalar doublets $η_{i}$, which are odd under the dark $Z_2$ symmetry. Among all the six constructed textures, texture $A_1$ and $A_2$ are the only two allowed by current experimental limits. Then choosing texture $A_1$ derived from $U(1)_{B-2L_e-L_τ}$, we perform a detail analysis on the corresponding phenomenology such as predictions of neutrino mixing parameters,…
We present a scotogenic model, i.e. a one-loop neutrino mass model with dark right-handed neutrino gauge singlets and one inert dark scalar gauge doublet $η$, which has symmetries that lead to co-bimaximal mixing, i.e. to an atmospheric mixing angle $θ_{23} = 45^\circ$ and to a $CP$-violating phase $δ= \pm π/2$, while the mixing angle $θ_{13}$ remains arbitrary. The symmetries consist of softly broken lepton numbers $L_α$ ($α= e,μ,τ$), a non-standard $CP$ symmetry, and three $Z_2$ symmetries. We indicate two possibilities for extending the model to the quark sector. Since the model has, beside…
We reexamine the minimal Singlet + Triplet Scotogenic Model, where dark matter is the mediator of neutrino mass generation. We assume it to be a scalar WIMP, whose stability follows from the same $\mathbb{Z} _{2}$ symmetry that leads to the radiative origin of neutrino masses. The scheme is the minimal one that allows for solar and atmospheric mass scales to be generated. We perform a full numerical analysis of the signatures expected at dark matter as well as collider experiments. We identify parameter regions where dark matter predictions agree with theoretical and experimental constraints, …
We study the minimal scotogenic model constituting an additional inert Higgs doublet and three sets of right-handed neutrinos. The scotogenic model connects dark matter, baryon asymmetry of the Universe and neutrino oscillation data. In our work, we obtain baryogenesis by the decay of TeV scale heavy neutral singlet fermion ($N_{2}$). We primarily focus on the intermediate-mass region of dark matter within $M_W<M_{DM}\le550$ GeV, where observed relic density is suppressed due to co-annihilation processes. We consider thermal as well as the non-thermal approach of dark matter production and exp…
We study the possibility of singlet fermion dark matter (DM) and successful leptogenesis in minimal scotogenic model which also provides a common origin of DM and light neutrino masses. In this scenario, where the standard model (SM) is extended by three gauge singlet fermions and one additional scalar doublet, all odd under an in-built $Z_2$ symmetry, the lightest singlet fermion which also happens to be the lightest $Z_2$ odd particle, can be either thermal or non-thermal DM candidate depending upon the strength of its couplings with SM leptons and the $Z_2$ odd scalar doublet. In both the s…
In this paper, we investigate the mutual impact between the dark matter (DM) requirements and the scalar sector in the scale invariant (SI) scotogenic model. The model is motivated by the neutrino mass and DM within a classically SI framework. It is a SI generalization of the scotogenic model, where the standard model (SM) is extended by a real singlet, an inert scalar doublet and three Majorana singlet fermions, where the lightest one ($N_{1}$) could play the DM candidate role. In addition to the annihilation channels $N_{1}N_{1}\rightarrow\ell_α\ell_β,ν_α\barν_β$, the DM can be annihilated v…
We explore the intermediate dark matter mass regime of the inert Higgs doublet model (IHDM) by extending the model with three copies of right handed singlet neutrinos. The in built discrete $Z_2$ symmetry of the model allows these right handed neutrinos to couple to the usual lepton doublets through the inert Higgs doublet allowing the possibility of radiative neutrino mass in the scotogenic fashion. Apart from generating non-zero neutrino mass, such an extension can also revive the intermediate dark matter mass regime, between $W$ boson mass to a few hundred GeV's where pure IHDM can not give…
The scotogenic model is the Standard Model (SM) with Z_2 symmetry and the addition of Z_2 odd right-handed Majorana neutrinos and SU(2)_L doublet scalar fields. We have extended the original scotogenic model by an additional Z_2 odd singlet scalar field that plays a role in dark matter. In our model, the asymmetries of the lepton and Z_2 odd doublet scalar are simultaneously produced through CP-violating right-handed neutrino decays. While the former is converted into baryon asymmetry through the sphaleron process, the latter is relaid to the DM density through the decay of SU(2)_L doublet sca…
We study the possibility of realising leptogenesis from three body decay, dark matter (DM) and neutrino mass in a minimal framework. We propose a first of its kind model to implement the idea of leptogenesis from three body decay where CP asymmetry arises from interference of multiple $1 \rightarrow 3$ diagrams using resummed propagators along with DM. The standard model is extended by three heavy singlet fermions, one scalar singlet and one scalar doublet with appropriate discrete charges. Two of these singlet fermions not only play non-trivial roles in generating light neutrino mass at radia…
The scotogenic model is one of the simplest scenarios for physics beyond the Standard Model that can account for neutrino masses and dark matter at the TeV scale. It contains another scalar doublet and three additional singlet fermions (N_i), all odd under a Z_2 symmetry. In this paper, we examine the possibility that the dark matter candidate, N_1, does not reach thermal equilibrium in the early Universe so that it behaves as a Feebly Interacting Massive Particle (FIMP). In that case, it is found that the freeze-in production of dark matter is entirely dominated by the decays of the odd scala…
In this work, we investigate the effects of first-order phase transitions on the singlet fermionic dark matter in the scotogenic model. It is known that this dark matter candidate tends to conflict with the relevant constraints such as the neutrino oscillation data and charged lepton flavor violating processes if its thermal production mechanism is assumed. We find that the dark matter production mechanisms are modified by first-order phase transitions at some specific parameter regions, where the phase transitions can be one-step or two-step depending on the parameters. If the phase transitio…

We consider the scotogenic model, where the standard model (SM) is extended by a scalar doublet and three $Z_2$ odd SM-singlet fermions ($N_i$, $i=1,2,3$), all odd under an additional $Z_2$ symmetry, as a unifying framework for simultaneous explanation of inflation, dark matter, baryogenesis and neutrino mass. The inert doublet is coupled nonminimally to gravity and forms the inflaton. The lightest neutral particle of this doublet later becomes the dark matter candidate. Baryogenesis is achieved via leptogenesis by the decay of $N_1$ to SM leptons and the inert doublet particles. Neutrino mass…
The Scotogenic model extends the standard model with three singlet fermion $N_i$ and one inert doublet scalar $η$ to address the common origin of tiny neutrino mass and dark matter. For fermion dark matter $N_1$, a hierarchical Yukawa structure $|y_{1e}|\ll|y_{1μ}|\sim|y_{1τ}|\sim\mathcal{O}(1)$ is usually favored to satisfy constraints from lepton flavor violation and relic density. Such large $μ$-related Yukawa coupling would greatly enhance the pair production of charged scalar $η^\pm$ at the muon collider. In this paper, we investigate the dilepton signature of the Scotogenic model at a 14…
The scotogenic model of neutrino mass is modified so that the dark Majorana fermion singlet $S$ which makes the neutrino massive is itself generated in one loop. This is accomplished by having $Z_6$ lepton symmetry softly broken to $Z_2$ in the scalar sector by a unique quadratic term. It is shown that $S$ is a viable freeze-in dark-matter candidate through Higgs decay.
