On Labeled Graph $C^*$-algebras

Given a directed graph $E$ and a labeling $\mathcal{L}$, one forms the labeled graph $C^*$-algebra by taking a weakly left--resolving labeled space $(E, \mathcal{L}, \mathcal{B})$ and considering a universal generating family of partial isometries and projections. In this paper, we work on ideals for a labeled graph $C^*$-algebra when the graph contains sinks. Using some of the tools we build, we compute $C^*(E, \mathcal{L}, \mathcal{B})$ when $E$ is a finite graph.

By a labeled graph $C^*$-algebra we mean a $C^*$-algebra associated to a labeled space $(E,\mathcal L,\mathcal E)$ consisting of a labeled graph $(E,\mathcal L)$ and the smallest normal accommodating set $\mathcal E$ of vertex subsets. AF labeled graph $C^*$-algebras

It is known that a graph $C^*$-algebra $C^*(E)$ is approximately finite dimensional (AF) if and only if the graph $E$ has no loops. In this paper we consider the question of when a labeled graph $C^*$-algebra $C^*(E,\CL,\CB)$ is AF. A notion of loop in a labeled space $(E,\CL,\CB)$ is defined when $\CB$ is the smallest one among the accommodating sets that are closed under relative complements and it is proved that if a labeled graph $C^*$-algebra is AF, the labeled space has no loops. The simplicity of the C*-algebras associated to arbitrary labeled spaces

In this paper, we consider the simplicity of the C*-algebra associated to an arbitrary weakly left-resolving labeled space (E, L, E), where E is the smallest non-degenerate accommodating set. We classify all gauge-invariant ideals of C*(E, L, E) and characterize minimality of (E, L, E) in terms of ideal structure of C*(E, L, E). Using these results, we prove simplicity results for C*-algebras associated to arbitrary labeled spaces.

Finite simple labeled graph $C^*$-algebras of Cantor minimal subshifts

It is now well known that a simple graph $C^*$-algebra $C^*(E)$ of a directed graph $E$ is either AF or purely infinite. In this paper, we address the question of whether this is the case for labeled graph $C^*$-algebras recently introduced by Bates and Pask as one of the generalizations of graph $C^*$-algebras, and show that there exists a family of simple unital labeled graph $C^*$-algebras which are neither AF nor purely infinite. Unique tracial state on the labeled graph $C^*$-algebra associated to Thue--Morse sequence

We give a concrete formula for the unique faithful trace on the finite simple non-AF labeled graph $C^*$-algebra $C^*(E_{\mathbb{Z}}, \mathcal{L}, \overline{\mathcal{E}}_{\mathbb{Z}})$ associated to the Thue--Morse sequence $(E_{\mathbb{Z}}, \mathcal{L})$. Our result provides an alternative proof of the existence of a labeled graph $C^*$-algebra that is not Morita equivalent to any graph $C^*$-algebras. Furthermore, we compute the $K$-groups of $C^*(E_{\mathbb{Z}}, \mathcal{L}, \overline{\mathcal{E}}_{\mathbb{Z}})$ using the path structure of the Thue--Morse sequence.

Group actions on labeled graphs and their C*-algebras

We introduce the notion of the action of a group on a labeled graph and the quotient object, also a labeled graph. We define a skew product labeled graph and use it to prove a version of the Gross-Tucker theorem for labeled graphs. We then apply these results to the $C^*$-algebra associated to a labeled graph and provide some applications in nonabelian duality.

Purely infinite labeled graph $C^*$-algebras

In this paper, we consider pure infiniteness of generalized Cuntz-Krieger algebras associated to labeled spaces $(E,\mathcal{L},\mathcal{E})$. Finiteness conditions for $C^*$-algebras like AF-embeddability, quasidiagonality, stable finiteness have been studied by many authors and shown to be equivalent for certain classes of $C^*$-algebras. Labeled Trees and Localized Automorphisms of the Cuntz Algebras

We initiate a detailed and systematic study of automorphisms of the Cuntz algebras $Ø_n$ which preserve both the diagonal and the core $UHF$-subalgebra. A general criterion of invertibility of endomorphisms yielding such automorphisms is given. Combinatorial investigations of endomorphisms related to permutation matrices are presented. A groupoid approach to $C^*$-algebras associated with $λ$-graph systems and continuous orbit equivalence of subshifts

A $λ$-graph system $\frak L$ is a labeled Bratteli diagram with shift operation. It is a generalized notion of finite labeled graph and presents a subshifts. We will study continuous orbit equivalence of one-sided subshifts and topological conjugacy of two-sided subshifts from the view points of groupoids and $C^*$-algebras constructed from $λ$-graph systems.
