Generalizing the kink operator of the Heisenberg spin 1/2 model, we construct a set of Klein factors explicitly such that $(1+1)$ dimensional fermion theories with arbitrary number of species are mapped onto the corresponding boson theories with the same number of species and vice versa. We study the Fermionisation of Seiberg-Witten mapped action (to order $θ$) of the $λϕ^{4}$ theory coupled minimally with U(1) gauge field governed by Chern-Simon action. Starting from the corresponding partition function we derive non-perturbatively (in coupling constant) the partition function of the spin 1/2 theory following Polyakov spin factor formalism. We find the dual interacting fermionic theory is non local. This feature persist also in the limit of vanishing self coupling. In $θ\to 0$ limit, the commutative result is regained.

We study the asymptotic interaction between two half-quantized vortices in two-component Bose-Einstein condensates. When two vortices in different components are placed at distance 2R, the leading order of the force between them is found to be (log R/ξ-1/2)/R^3, in contrast to 1/R between vortices placed in the same component. We derive it analytically using the Abrikosov ansatz and the profile functions of the vortices, confirmed numerically with the Gross-Pitaevskii model. We also find that the short-range cutoff of the inter-vortex potential linearly depends on the healing length.
We demonstrate that the confinement of half-quantized vortices (HQVs) in coherently coupled Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) simulates certain aspects of the confinement in $SU(2)$ quantum chromodynamics (QCD) in 2+1 space-time dimensions. In this paper we construct the operator connecting the three vertex in half string field theory and the dual model vertex of Sciuto, Caneshi Schwimmer and Veneziano (SCSV). This construction results in an explicit conformal transformation linking the two interactions in the matter sector at all levels. In this paper, we analyze a proposed gravity dual to a $SU(N)$ Bose-Hubbard model, as well as construct a holographic dual of a $SU(N)$ Fermi-Hubbard model from D-branes in string theory. Witten has argued that in $2+1$ dimensions local supersymmetry can ensure the vanishing of the cosmological constant without requiring the equality of bose and fermi masses. We find that this mechanism is implemented in a novel fashion in the (2+1)-dimensional supersymmetric abelian Higgs model coupled to supergravity. We provide a detailed description of our previously proposed scheme for topological interface engineering with constructed defects and textures perforating across coherent interfaces between different broken symmetries [M.
