Given the increasing number of experimental data, together with the precise measurement of the properties of the Higgs boson at the LHC, the parameter space of supersymmetric models starts to be constrained. We carry out a detailed analysis of this issue in the framework of the $μν$SSM. In this model, three families of right-handed neutrino superfields are present in order to solve the $μ$ problem and simultaneously reproduce neutrino physics. The new couplings and sneutrino vacuum expectation values in the $μν$SSM induce new mixing of states, and, in particular, the three right sneutrinos can be substantially mixed with the neutral Higgses. After diagonalization, the masses of the corresponding three singlet-like eigenstates can be smaller or larger than the mass of the Higgs, or even degenerated with it. We analyze whether these situations are still compatible with the experimental results. To address it we scan the parameter space of the Higgs sector of the model. In particular, we sample the $μν$SSM using a powerful likelihood data-driven method, paying special attention to satisfy the constraints coming from Higgs sector measurements/limits (using HiggsBounds and HiggsSignals), as well as a class of flavor observables such as $B$ and $μ$ decays, while muon $g-2$ is briefly discussed. We find that large regions of the parameter space of the $μν$SSM are viable, containing an interesting phenomenology that could be probed at the LHC.
We study the upper limits on the mass of the lightest and second lightest CP even Higgs bosons in the (M+1)SSM, the MSSM extended by a gauge singlet. The dominant two loop contributions to the effective potential are included, which reduce the Higgs masses by 10 GeV. Since the coupling R of the lightest Higgs scalar to gauge bosons can be small, we study in detail the relations between the masses and couplings of both lightest scalars. We present upper bounds on the mass of a 'strongly' coupled Higgs (R > 1/2) as a function of lower experimental limits on the mass of a 'weakly' coupled Higgs (…
The "$μ$ from $ν$" supersymmetric standard model ($μν$SSM) can accommodate the newly discovered Higgs-like scalar boson with a mass around 125 GeV. This model provides a solution to the $μ$-problem and simultaneously reproduces correct neutrino physics by the simple use of right-handed neutrino superfields. These new superfields together with the introduced $R$-parity violation can produce novel and characteristic signatures of the $μν$SSM at the LHC. We explore the signatures produced through two-body Higgs decays into the new states, provided that these states lie below in the mass spectrum.…
As the U(1) extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model, the $U(1)_X$SSM has new super fields such as right-handed neutrinos and three Higgs singlets. In the $U(1)_X$SSM, the lightest CP-even Higgs mass $m_{h^0}$ is researched through the Higgs effective potential with one loop corrections. We also calculate the Higgs decays $h^0\rightarrowγγ$, $h^0\rightarrow VV~(V=W,~Z)$, $h^0\rightarrow l\bar{l}Z$ and $h^0\rightarrow ν\barνZ$. The obtained results are reasonable, which are in favour of the study of the Higgs characteristic and the phenomenology of the $U(1)_X$SSM.
Within framework of the $μ$ from $ν$ Supersymmetric Standard Model ($μν$SSM), three exotic right-handed neutrino superfields induce new sources for lepton-flavor violation. In this work, we investigate muon conversion to electron in nuclei within the $μν$SSM in detail. With a 125 GeV Higgs, the numerical results indicate that the $μ-e$ conversion rates in nuclei within the $μν$SSM can reach the experimental upper bound, which could be detected with the future experimental sensitivities.
Recently, the CMS and ATLAS Collaborations have reported direct searches for the 125 GeV Higgs decay with lepton flavor violation, $h\rightarrow μτ$. In this work, we analyze the signal of the lepton flavour violating (LFV) Higgs decay $h\rightarrow μτ$ in the $μ$ from $ν$ Supersymmetric Standard Model ($μν$SSM) with slepton flavor mixing. Simultaneously, we consider the constraints from the LFV decay $τ\rightarrow μγ$, the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment and the lightest Higgs mass around 125 GeV.
To solve the $μ$ problem and generate three tiny neutrino masses in the MSSM, the $μ$ from $ν$ Supersymmetric Standard Model ($μν$SSM) introduces three singlet right-handed neutrino superfields, which lead to the mixing of the Higgs doublets with the sneutrinos. The mixing affects the lightest Higgs boson mass and the Higgs couplings. The present observed 95\% CL upper limit on signal strength of the 125 GeV Higgs boson decay $h\rightarrow Zγ$ is 6.6, which still is plenty of space to prove the existence of new physics. In this work, we investigate the signal strength of the 125 GeV Higgs boso…
To solve the $μ$ problem of the MSSM, the $μ$ from $ν$ Supersymmetric Standard Model ($μν$SSM) introduces three singlet right-handed neutrino superfields $\hatν_i^c$, which lead to the mixing of the neutral components of the Higgs doublets with the sneutrinos, producing a relatively large CP-even neutral scalar mass matrix. In this work, we analytically diagonalize the CP-even neutral scalar mass matrix and analyze in detail how the mixing impacts the lightest Higgs boson mass. We also give an approximate expression for the lightest Higgs boson mass. Simultaneously, we consider the radiative c…
Recently, the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations measured the 125 GeV Higgs boson decay to a pair of muons $h\rightarrow μ\barμ$, which reported the signal strength relative to the standard model (SM) prediction is $1.2\pm0.6$ and $1.19^{+0.40+0.15}_{-0.39-0.14}$, respectively. In this work, we investigate the 125 GeV Higgs boson decay $h\rightarrow μ\barμ$ at one-loop level in the $μ$ from $ν$ Supersymmetric Standard Model ($μν$SSM). Compared to the SM prediction, the decay width of $h\rightarrow μ\barμ$ in the $μν$SSM can boost up about 10\%, considering the constraint from the muon anomalous magn…
The $μν$SSM is a simple supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (SM) capable of predicting neutrino physics in agreement with experiment. In this paper we perform the complete one-loop renormalization of the neutral scalar sector of the $μν$SSM with one generation of right-handed neutrinos in a mixed on-shell/$\overline{\mathrm{DR}}$ scheme. The renormalization procedure is discussed in detail, emphasizing conceptual differences to the minimal (MSSM) and next-to-minimal (NMSSM) supersymmetric standard model regarding the field renormalization and the treatment of non-flavor-diagonal sof…
We study the nonstandard decays of the lightest Higgs state within the Exceptional Supersymmetric Standard Model (E6SSM). We argued that the SM--like Higgs boson can decay predominantly into dark matter particles while its branching ratios into SM particles varies from 2% to 4%. This scenario also implies the presence of other relatively light Inert chargino and neutralino states in the particle spectrum with masses below 200 GeV. We argue that in this case the decays of the lightest Higgs boson into l^{+} l^{-} + X may play an essential role in the Higgs searches.
The $μν$SSM is a simple supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (SM) capable of describing neutrino physics in agreement with experiments. We perform the complete one-loop renormalization of the neutral scalar sector of the $μν$SSM with three generation of right-handed neutrinos in a mixed on-shell/$\overline{\mathrm{DR}}$ scheme. We calculate the full one-loop corrections to the neutral scalar masses of the $μν$SSM. The one-loop contributions are supplemented by available MSSM higher-order corrections. We obtain numerical results for a SM-like Higgs-boson mass consistent with experimen…
Recently, the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations reported the latest experimental upper limits on the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating (LFV) 125 GeV Higgs boson decays, $h\rightarrow eμ$, $h\rightarrow eτ$, and $h\rightarrow μτ$. In this paper, we mainly investigate the LFV Higgs boson decays $h\rightarrow eμ$, $h\rightarrow eτ$, and $h\rightarrow μτ$ in the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model with local $\emph{B-L}$ gauge symmetry. At the same time, the corresponding constraints from the LFV rare decays $μ\rightarrow eγ$, $τ\rightarrow eγ$, $τ\rightarrow μγ$, and m…
The double Higgs boson production through $e^{+}e^-\rightarrow hhZ$ is analyzed in the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model(SM) with the local gauge symmetry $U(1)_{B-L}$, where $h$ denotes the lightest Higgs boson with 125 GeV. Considering the constraints from the updated prediction data, we find that the production cross section of this process in the model depends on some parameters strongly.
The Exceptional Supersymmetric (SUSY) Standard Model predicts three families of Higgs doublets plus three Higgs singlets, where one family develops vacuum expectation values (VEVs), while the remaining two which do not are called Inert. The model can account for the dark matter relic abundance if the two lightest Inert neutralinos, identified as the (next-to) lightest SUSY particles ((N)LSPs), have masses close to half the Z mass. In this case we find that the usual SM-like Higgs boson decays more than 95% of the time into either LSPs or NLSPs. The latter case produces a final state containing…
We present a detailed analysis of the Higgs boson decays $h\rightarrow Z γ$ and $h\rightarrow m_V Z$ in the $U(1)_X$SSM, with $m_V$ denoting the meson ($ω,ρ,ϕ,J/ψ,Υ$). Using the effective Lagrangian method, we calculate the effective constants $C_{γZ}$ (CP-even) and $\tilde{C}_{γZ}$ (CP-odd) for the vertex $h γZ$, which are corrected by the new particle loop diagrams. Numerically, the ratio $Γ_{U(1)_X}(h\rightarrow Z γ)/Γ_{SM}(h\rightarrow Z γ)$ is between $1.02-1.35$. For the vector mesons $ω,ρ,ϕ$ and $J/ψ$, the ratios $Γ_{U(1)_X}(h\rightarrow m_V Z )/Γ_{SM}(h\rightarrow m_V Z)$ are mainly di…
$U(1)_X$SSM is the extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model(MSSM) and its local gauge group is $SU(3)_C\times SU(2)_L \times U(1)_Y \times U(1)_X$. To obtain this model, three singlet new Higgs superfields and right-handed neutrinos are added to MSSM. In the framework of $U(1)_X$SSM, we study the Higgs mass and take the lightest CP-even sneutrino as a cold dark matter candidate. For the lightest CP-even sneutrino, the relic density and the cross section for dark matter scattering off nucleon are both researched. In suitable parameter space of the model, the numerical results sati…
The LHC data implies that the newly discovered Higgs boson h may be sterile (highly SM-like). In supersymmetric SMs (SSMs), Higgs couplings are often modified by Higgs mixing and stop loop corrections, so we study the Higgs sterility in the Higgs and stop sectors in two SSMs: (I) The Minimal SSM (MSSM). In the nearly decoupling region, the doublet-doublet mixing effect can only enhance C_{hb\bar b} by 2m_Z^2/M_A^2. Sterility places M_A\gtrsim 900 GeV. But it hardly constrains the stop sector due to the heaviness of Higgs boson mass m_h; (II) The next to MSSM(NMSSM). In the presence of doublet-…
We study the finely tuned SSM, recently proposed by Arkani-Hamed and Dimopoulos, at the one loop level. The runnings of the four gaugino Yukawa couplings, the mu term, the gaugino masses, and the Higgs quartic coupling are computed. The Higgs mass is found to be 130 - 170 GeV for M_s > 10^6 GeV. If the Yukawa coupling constants are measured at the 1% level, this can determine the SUSY breaking scale to within an order of magnitude. Measuring the relationships between the couplings to this accuracy provides a striking signal for this model.
The "$μ$ from $ν$" supersymmetric standard model ($μν$SSM) cures the $μ$-problem and concurrently reproduces measured neutrino data by using a set of usual right-handed neutrino superfields. Recently, the LHC has revealed the first scalar boson which naturally makes it tempting to test $μν$SSM in the light of this new discovery. We show that this new scalar while decaying to a pair of unstable long-lived neutralinos, can lead to a distinct signal with non-prompt multileptons. With concomitant collider analysis we show that this signal provides an unmistakable signature of the model, pronounced…

The $μν$SSM is a supersymmetric standard model that accounts for light neutrino masses and solves the $μ$ problem of the MSSM by simply using right-handed neutrino superfields. Since this mechanism breaks R-parity, a peculiar structure for the mass matrices is generated. The neutral Higgses are mixed with the right- and left-handed sneutrinos producing 8$\times$8 neutral scalar mass matrices. We analyse the Higgs sector of the $μν$SSM in detail, with special emphasis in possible signals at colliders. After studying in general the decays of the Higges, we focus on those processes that are genui…
The $μν$SSM is a supersymmetric standard model that solves the $μ$ problem of the MSSM using the R-parity breaking couplings between the right-handed neutrino superfields and the Higgses in the superpotential, $λ_{i} \hat ν^c_i \hat H_d \hat H_u$. The $μ$ term is generated spontaneously through sneutrino vacuum expectation values, $μ=λ_i < \tilde ν^c_i>$, once the electroweak symmetry is broken. In addition, the couplings $κ_{ijk} \hat ν^c_i\hat ν^c_j\hat ν^c_k$ forbid a global U(1) symmetry avoiding the existence of a Goldstone boson, and also contribute to spontaneously generate Majorana mas…
Recently the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations have reported significant events that are attributed to the neutral Higgs boson with mass around 125 GeV. In this work, we investigate the signals of the Higgs boson decay channels $h\rightarrowγγ$, $h\rightarrow VV^*$ ($V=Z,W$), and $h\rightarrow f\bar{f}$ ($f=b,τ$) in the $μ$ from $ν$ supersymmetric standard model ($μν$SSM). In the numerical results, we show the light stop and stau effects on the signal strengths for the 125 GeV Higgs boson decay channels in the $μν$SSM, which can account for the updated experimental data on Higgs.
We show how a non-Abelian family symmetry Delta(27) can be used to solve the flavour problem of supersymmetric standard models containing three Higgs families such as the Exceptional Supersymmetric Standard Model (E(6)SSM). The three 27 dimensional families of the E(6)SSM, including the three families of Higgs fields, transform in a triplet representation of the Delta(27) family symmetry, allowing the family symmetry to commute with a possible high energy E(6) symmetry. The Delta(27) family symmetry here provides a high energy understanding of the Z(2)H symmetry of the E(6)SSM, which solves th…
Within the framework of the $μν$SSM, a displaced dilepton signal is expected at the LHC from the decay of a tau left sneutrino as the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP) with a mass in the range $45 - 100$ GeV. We compare the predictions of this scenario with the ATLAS search for long-lived particles using displaced lepton pairs in $pp$ collisions, considering an optimization of the trigger requirements by means of a high level trigger that exploits tracker information. The analysis is carried out in the general case of three families of right-handed neutrino superfields, where all the neut…
The $μν$SSM provides a solution to the $μ$ problem of the MSSM and explains the origin of neutrino masses by simply using right-handed neutrino superfields. We have completed the analysis of the vacua in this model, studying the possibility of spontaneous CP violation through complex Higgs and sneutrino vacuum expectation values. As a consequence of this process, a complex MNS matrix can be present. Besides, we have discussed the neutrino physics and the associated electroweak seesaw mechanism in the $μν$SSM, including also phases. Current data on neutrino masses and mixing angles can easily b…
The $μν$SSM, one of supersymmetric extensions beyond the Standard Model, introduces three singlet right-handed neutrino superfields to solve the $μ$ problem and can generate three tiny Majorana neutrino masses through the seesaw mechanism. In this work, we investigate the rare decay process $\bar{B}\rightarrow X_sγ$ in the $μν$SSM, under a minimal flavor violating assumption for the soft breaking terms. Constrained by the SM-like Higgs with mass around 125 GeV, the numerical results show that the new physics can fit the experimental data for $\bar{B}\rightarrow X_sγ$ and further constrain the …
$U(1)_X$SSM is the extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model(MSSM) and its local gauge group is $SU(3)_C\times SU(2)_L \times U(1)_Y \times U(1)_X$. To obtain this model, three singlet new Higgs superfields and right-handed neutrinos are added to MSSM. In the framework of $U(1)_X$SSM, we study lepton flavor violating decays $τ\rightarrow{Pl}(P=π,~η,~η^\prime;~l=μ,~e)$. According to the latest experimental data of $τ\rightarrow{Pe}$ and $τ\rightarrow{Pμ}$, the influence of different sensitive parameters on the results is analyzed to make a reasonable prediction for future experimen…
We analyze the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon $g-2$ in the $μν$SSM. This $R$-parity violating model solves the $μ$ problem reproducing simultaneously neutrino data, only with the addition of right-handed neutrinos. In the framework of the $μν$SSM, light left muon-sneutrino and wino masses can be naturally obtained driven by neutrino physics. This produces an increase of the dominant chargino-sneutrino loop contribution to muon $g-2$, solving the gap between the theoretical computation and the experimental data. To analyze the parameter space, we sample the $μν$SSM using a likelihood dat…
We consider the Higgs boson mass in a class of the UMSSM models in which the MSSM gauge group is extended by an additional U(1)' group. Implementing the universal boundary conditions at the GUT scale we target phenomenologically interesting regions of UMSSM where the necessary radiative contributions to the lightest CP-even Higgs boson mass are significantly small and LSP is always the lightest neutralino. We find that the smallest amount of radiative contributions is about 50 GeV in UMSSM, this result is much lower than that obtained in MSSM, which is around 90 GeV. Additionally, we examine t…
We perform an analysis of the vacuum stability of the neutral scalar potential of the $μ$-from-$ν$ Supersymmetric Standard Model ($μν$SSM). As an example scenario, we discuss the alignment-without-decoupling limit of the $μν$SSM, for which the required conditions on the Higgs sector are derived. We demonstrate that in this limit large parts of the parameter space feature unphysical minima that are deeper than the electroweak minimum. In order to estimate the lifetime of the electroweak vacuum, we calculate the rates for the tunneling process into each unphysical minimum. We find that in many c…
Three singlet new Higgs superfields and right-handed neutrinos are added to MSSM to obtain $U(1)_X$SSM model. Its local gauge group is $SU(3)_C\times SU(2)_L \times U(1)_Y \times U(1)_X$. In the framework of $U(1)_X$SSM, we study muon anomalous magnetic moment and lepton flavor violating decays $l_j\rightarrow{l_iγ}(j=2,3;i=1,2)$ within the Mass Insertion Approximation(MIA). Through the MIA method, we can find the parameters that directly affect the analytical result of the lepton flavor violating decays $l_j\rightarrow{l_iγ}$, which make our work more convenient. We want to provide a set of s…
We study analytically the general features of electroweak symmetry breaking in the context of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model extended by one Higgs singlet. The exact analytical forms of the renormalization group evolutions of the Yukawa couplings and of the soft supersymmetry breaking parameters are derived to one-loop order. They allow on one hand controllable approximations in closed analytical form, and on the other a precise study of the behaviour of infrared quasi fixed point regimes which we carry out. Some of these regimes are shown to be phenomenologically inconsistent, lead…
We consider the low scale implications in the U(1)' extended MSSM (UMSSM). We restrict the parameter space such that the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP) is always the lightest neutralino. In addition, we impose quasi Yukawa unification (QYU) at the grand unification scale (M_GUT). QYU strictly requires the ratios among the yukawa couplings as y_t/y_b ~ 1.2, y_tau/y_b ~ 1.4, and y_t/y_tau ~ 0.8. We find that the need of fine-tuning over the fundamental parameter space of QYU is in the acceptable range (Delta_EW <= 10^3), even if the universal boundary conditions are imposed at M_ GUT, in…
We study the baryon asymmetry of the universe in the supersymmetric standard model (SSM). At the electroweak phase transition, the fermionic partners of the charged SU(2) gauge bosons and Higgs bosons are reflected from or transmitted to the bubble wallof the broken phase. Owing to a physical complex phase in their mass matrix, these reflections and transmissions have asymmetries between CP conjugate processes. Equilibrium conditions in the symmetric phaseare then shifted to favor a non-vanishing value for the baryon number density, which is realized through electroweak anomaly. We show that t…
In a fourth generation model with heavy quarks, the production cross section of the Higgs boson in the gluon-gluon fusion process is significantly increased due to additional quark loops. In a similar way, the partial decay width of the decay channels $H\rightarrow gg, γγ$ and $γZ$ is modified. These changes and their impact on the Higgs search are discussed.
Measuring the Higgs-self coupling is one of the most crucial goals of the future colliders, such as the LHC Run-II and the ILC-based photon collider. Since the new physics can affects the di-Higgs production not only from the Higgs self-coupling but also from the top-Higgs coupling, we investigate the di-Higgs production in the presence of the non-standard top-Higgs coupling at the LHC and ILC-based photon collider given the recent Higgs data. Due to the changed interference behaviors of the top quark loops with itself or $W$ boson loops, we find that the cross section of di-Higgs production a…
We compute at next-to-leading order level the impact factor for the production of a forward Higgs boson from a colliding proton. Combined with other forward impact factors, it can be used to describe, at next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy, processes in which two objects featuring large separation in rapidity are detected at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). As well, combined with a proper definition of the \textit{unintegrated gluon distribution} (UGD), it can be used to compute small-$x$ corrections to the forward Higgs production.
The existence of a fourth fermion generation has mostly been considered as a source of enhanced Higgs signals with respect to the 3 family Standard Model predictions. However, a fourth Standard Model family neutrino could cause the opposite situation. It is shown that relatively light fourth family neutrino (2m_(nu_(4))<m_(H)) could drastically change the interpretation of the search results for the Higgs boson, especially if m_(H)<170 GeV.
In the standard model (SM), the $ρ$ parameter is equal to 1 and the ratio $λ_{WZ}$ of Higgs $\to ZZ$ and Higgs $\to WW$ is also equal to 1 at the tree level. When going beyond the SM with more than one types of Higgs representations these quantities may be different from the SM predictions which can provide crucial information about new physics. There may also exist a certain charged Higgs $h^+$ decays into a $W^+$ and a $Z$. Imposing a custodial symmetry can force the parameter $ρ$ to be equal to 1 with certain predictions for $λ_{WZ}$ and $h^+ \to W^+Z$. However, imposing $ρ=1$ without custo…
I discuss the importance of the $O(g^4 m_t^2/\mw^2)$ corrections to the effective electroweak angle and Mw in the indirect determination of the Higgs mass. I emphasize the rôle of a very precise Mw measurement on the Mh estimate.
We consider the implication of the recent CDF $W$-mass anomaly in the general framework of two Higgs doublet model. We find that the large deviation of the $S$ and $T$ parameters from their SM values of zero leads to the upper limit of about $1$ TeV on the heavy charged and neutral Higgs bosons when it is combined with the theoretical constraints from the perturbative unitarity and for the Higgs potential to be bounded from below.
Interference and mixing effects between neutral Higgs bosons in the MSSM with complex parameters are shown to have a significant impact on the interpretation of LHC searches for additional Higgs bosons. Complex MSSM parameters introduce mixing between the CP-even and CP-odd Higgs states and generate CP-violating interference terms. Both effects are enhanced in the case of almost degenerate states. Employing as an example an extension of a frequently used benchmark scenario by a non-zero phase $ϕ_{A_t}$, the interference contributions are obtained for the production of neutral Higgs bosons in g…
We examine whether parameters related to the Higgs sector of the minimal supersymmetric standard model can be determined by detailed study of the production cross section and decay branching ratios of the Higgs boson. Assuming that only the light Higgs boson will be observed at a future $e^+e^-$ linear collider with $\sqrt{s}=300\sim500$ GeV, we show that values of $m_{susy}$ and $\tanβ$ are restricted within a narrow region in the $m_{susy}$ versus $\tanβ$ plane by the combined analysis of the light Higgs properties. It is also pointed out that, in some case, $\tanβ$ may be restricted to a re…
We observe a generic connection between LHC Higgs data and electroweak baryogenesis: the particle that contributes to the CP odd $hgg$ or $h γγ$ vertex would provide the CP violating source during a first order phase transition. It is illustrated in the 2HDM that a common complex phase controls the lightest Higgs properties at the LHC, electric dipole moments and the CP violating source for electroweak baryogenesis. We perform a general parametrization of Higgs effective couplings and a global fit to the LHC Higgs data. Current LHC measurements prefer a nonzero phase for $\tan β\lesssim 1$ and…
We analyze relevant signals expected at the LHC for a stop as the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP). The discussion is carried out in the framework of the $μν$SSM, where the presence of $R$-parity violating couplings involving right-handed neutrinos solves the $μ$-problem and reproduces neutrino data. The stops are pair produced at the LHC, decaying with displaced vertices to a lepton and a bottom quark or a neutrino and a top quark. We compare the predictions of this scenario with ATLAS and CMS searches for long-lived particles. To analyze the parameter space we sample the $μν$SSM for a …
In this talk, we present a way to improve the accuracy of theoretical predictions for Higgs boson production cross sections at the LHC using the measurements of lepton angular distributions. In this regards, we exploit the sensitivity of the lepton angular coefficient associated with the longitudinal Z-boson polarization to the parton density function (PDF) for gluons resolved from the incoming protons, in order to constrain the Higgs boson cross section from gluon fusion processes. We find that high-statistics determinations of the longitudinally polarized angular coefficient at the LHC Run 3…
