We consider dispersive shock wave to the focusing nonlinear Schrödinger equation generated by a discontinuous initial condition which is periodic or quasi-periodic on the left semi-axis and zero on the right semi-axis. As an initial function we use a finite-gap potential of the Dirac operator given in an explicit form through hyper-elliptic theta-functions. The paper aim is to study the long-time asymptotics of the solution of this problem in a vicinity of the leading edge, where a train of asymptotic solitons are generated. Such a problem was studied in \cite{KK86} and \cite{K91} using Marchenko's inverse scattering technics. We investigate this problem exceptionally using the Riemann-Hilbert problems technics that allow us to obtain explicit formulas for the asymptotic solitons themselves that in contrast with the cited papers where asymptotic formulas are obtained only for the square of absolute value of solution. Using transformations of the main RH problems we arrive to a model problem corresponding to the parametrix at the end points of continuous spectrum of the Zakharov-Shabat spectral problem. The parametrix problem is effectively solved in terms of the generalized Laguerre polynomials which are naturally appeared after appropriate scaling of the Riemann-Hilbert problem in a small neighborhoods of the end points of continuous spectrum. Further asymptotic analysis give an explicit formula for solitons at the edge of dispersive wave. Thus, we give the complete description of the train of asymptotic solitons: not only bearing envelope of each asymptotic soliton, but its oscillating structure are found explicitly. Besides the second term of asymptotics describing an interaction between these solitons and oscillating background is also found. This gives the fine structure of the edge of dispersive shock wave.
We compute an explicit formula for the integrated density of states of the periodic Airy-Schr{ö}dinger operator on the real line. For this purpose, we study precisely the spectrum of the restriction of the periodic Airy-Schr{ö}dinger operator to a finite number of periods. We prove that all the eigenvalues of this restriction are in the spectral bands of the periodic Airy-Schr{ö}dinger operator and none of them are in its spectral gaps. We count exactly the number of eigenvalues in each of the spectral bands, this number being equal to the number of periods to which the periodic operator is re…
We prove exponential decay for a system of two Schr{ö}dinger equations in a wave guide, with coupling and damping at the boundary. This relies on the spectral analysis of the corresponding coupled Schr{ö}dinger operator on the one-dimensional cross section. We show in particular that we have a spectral gap and that the corresponding generalized eigenfunctions form a Riesz basis.
I review an information-theoretic variant of the quantum de Finetti theorem due to Brand{ã}o and Harrow and discuss its applications to the topic of bosonic mean-field limits. This leads to slightly improved methods for the derivation of the local non-linear Schr{ö}dinger energy functional from many-body quantum mechanics.
We prove a Limiting Absorption Principle for Schr{ö}dinger operators in tubes about infinite curves embedded in the Euclidian space with different types of boundary conditions. The argument is based on the Mourre theory with conjugate operators different from the generator of dilations which is usually used in this case, and permits to prove a Limiting Absorption Principle for Schr{ö}dinger operators in singular waveguides.
We prove low frequency resolvent estimates and local energy decay for the Schr{ö}dinger equation in an asymptotically Euclidean setting. More precisely, we go beyond the optimal estimates by comparing the resolvent of the perturbed Schr{ö}dinger operator with the resolvent of the free Laplacian. This gives the leading term for the developpement of this resolvent when the spectral parameter is close to 0. For this, we show in particular how we can apply the usual commutators method for generalized resolvents and simultaneously for different operators. Finally, we deduce similar results for the …
We recall a Moure theory adapted to non self-adjoint operators and we apply this theory to Schr{ö}dinger operators with non real potentials, using different type of conjugate operators. We show that some conjugate operators permits to relax conditions on the derivatives of the potential that were required up to now.

In this paper, we study weight representations over the Schr{ö}dinger Lie algebra $\mathfrak{s}_n$ for any positive integer $n$. It turns out that the algebra $\mathfrak{s}_n$ can be realized by polynomial differential operators. Using this realization, we give a complete classification of irreducible weight $\mathfrak{s}_n$-modules with finite dimensional weight spaces for any $n$. All such modules can be clearly characterized by the tensor product of $\mathfrak{so}_n$-modules, $\mathfrak{sl}_2$-modules and modules over the Weyl algebra.
We prove that if a solution of the time-dependent Schr{ö}dinger equation on an homogeneous tree with bounded potential decays fast at two distinct times then the solution is trivial. For the free Schr{ö}dinger operator, we use the spectral theory of the Laplacian and complex analysis and obtain a characterization of the initial conditions that lead to a sharp decay at any time. We then use the recent spectral decomposition of the Schr{ö}dinger operator with compactly supported potential due to Colin de Verdi{è}rre and Turc to extend our results in the presence of such potentials. Finally, we u…
We study the threshold behaviour of two dimensional Schr{\" o}dinger operators with finitely many local point interactions. We show that the resolvent can either be continuously extended up to the threshold, in which case we say that the operator is of regular type, or it has singularities associated with $s$ or p-wave resonances or even with an embedded eigenvalue at zero, for whose existence we give necessary and sufficient conditions. An embedded eigenvalue at zero may appear only if we have at least three centres. When the operator is of regular type we prove that the wave operators are bo…
We consider discrete Schr{ö}dinger operators on ${\mathbb{Z}}^d$ for which the perturbation consists of the sum of a long-range type potential and a Wigner-von Neumann type potential. Still working in a framework of weighted Mourre theory, we improve the limiting absorption principle (LAP) that was obtained in [Ma1]. To our knowledge, this is a new result even in the one-dimensional case. The improvement consists in a weakening of the assumptions on the long-range potential and better LAP weights. The improvement relies only on the fact that the generator of dilations (which serves as conjugat…
How and why may an interacting system of many particles be described assuming that all particles are independent and identically distributed ? This question is at least as old as statistical mechanics itself. Its quantum version has been rejuvenated by the birth of cold atoms physics. In particular the experimental creation of Bose-Einstein condensates directly asks the following variant: why and how can a large assembly of very cold interacting bosons (quantum particles deprived of the Pauli exclusion principle) all populate the same quantum state ? In this text I review the various mathemati…
