This paper is devoted to the study of the relatively compact sets in Quasi-Banach function spaces, providing an important improvement of the known results. As an application, we take the final step in establishing a relative compactness criteria for function spaces with any weight without any assumption.
We consider the Calderón-Lozanovskii construction $φ(X_0,X_1)$ in the context of quasi-Banach lattices and provide an extension of a result by V. I. Ovchinnikov concerning the associated interpolation methods $φ^c$ and $φ^0$. Our approach is based on the interpolation properties of $(\infty,1)$-regular operators between quasi-Banach lattices.
We show that, for quasi-greedy bases in Hilbert spaces, the associated conditionality constants grow at most as $O(\log N)^{1-ε}$, for some $ε>0$, answering a question by Temlyakov. We show the optimality of this bound with an explicit construction, based on a refinement of the method of Olevskii. This construction leads to other examples of quasi-greedy bases with large $k_N$ in Banach spaces, which are of independent interest.
In this paper, we prove that the inner complex interpolation of two quasi-Banach lattices coincides with the closure of their intersection in their Calderón product. This generalizes a classical result by Shestakov in 1974 for Banach lattices.
We extend the helicoidal method that we previously developed to the quasi-Banach context, proving in this way multiple Banach and quasi-Banach vector-valued inequalities for paraproducts $Π$ and for the bilinear Hilbert transform $BHT$. As an immediate application, we obtain mixed norm estimates for $Π\otimes Π$ in the whole range of Lebesgue exponents. One of the novelties in the quasi-Banach framework (that is, when $0<r<1$), which we expect to be useful in other contexts as well, is the "linearization" of the operator $ \left( \sum_k | T(f_k, g_k) |^r \right)^{1/r}$ by dualizing its weak-$L…
Let $X$ be a ball quasi-Banach function space on ${\mathbb R}^n$. In this article, the authors introduce the weak Hardy-type space $WH_X({\mathbb R}^n)$, associated with $X$, via the radial maximal function. Assuming that the powered Hardy--Littlewood maximal operator satisfies some Fefferman--Stein vector-valued maximal inequality on $X$ as well as it is bounded on both the weak ball quasi-Banach function space $WX$ and the associated space, the authors then establish several real-variable characterizations of $WH_X({\mathbb R}^n)$, respectively, in terms of various maximal functions, atoms a…
Let $α\in{\Bbb R}$, $0<p<\infty$ and $X$ be a ball quasi-Banach function space on ${\Bbb R}^n$. In this article, we introduce the Herz-type space $\dot{K}^{α,p}_X({\Bbb R}^n)$ associated with $X$. We identify the dual space of $\dot{K}^{α,p}_X({\Bbb R}^n)$, by which the boundedness of Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator on $\dot{K}^{α,p}_X({\Bbb R}^n)$ is proved. By using the extrapolation theorem on ball quasi-Banach function spaces, we establish the extrapolation theorem on Herz-type spaces associated with ball quasi-Banach function spaces. Applying our extrapolation theorem, the boundedness o…
We study the structure of families of well approximable elements of tensor products of Banach spaces including analogs of the classical quasianalytic classes in the sense of Bernstein and Beurling. As in the case of quasianalytic functions, we prove for members of these families variants of the Mazurkiewicz and Markushevich theorems and in some particular cases, if such elements are Banach-valued continuous maps on a compact metric space, estimate massivity of their graphs and level sets.

We establish some new $L^p$-improving bounds for the $k$-simplex averaging operators $S^k$ that hold in dimensions $d \geq k$. As a consequence of these $L^p$-improving bounds we obtain nontrivial bounds $S^k\colon L^{p_1}\times\cdots\times L^{p_k}\rightarrow L^r$ with $r < 1$. In particular we show that the triangle averaging operator $S^2$ maps $ L^{\frac{d+1}{d}}\times L^{\frac{d+1}{d}} \rightarrow L^{\frac{d+1}{2d}}$ in dimensions $d\geq 2$. This improves quasi-Banach bounds obtained by Palsson and Sovine and extends bounds obtained by Greenleaf, Iosevich, Krauss, and Liu for the case of $…
We complete our boundedness theory of commutators of bilinear bi-parameter singular integrals by establishing the following result. If $T$ is a bilinear bi-parameter singular integral satisfying suitable $T1$ type assumptions, $\|b\|_{\operatorname{bmo}(\mathbb{R}^{n+m})} = 1$ and $1 < p, q \le \infty$ and $1/2 < r < \infty$ satisfy $1/p+1/q = 1/r$, then we have $$ \|[b, T]_1(f_1, f_2)\|_{L^r(\mathbb{R}^{n+m})} \lesssim \|f_1\|_{L^p(\mathbb{R}^{n+m})} \|f_2\|_{L^q(\mathbb{R}^{n+m})}. $$ Previously the range $r \le 1$ was proved only in the paraproduct free situation. The main novelty lies in t…
If a differential equation in a Banach manifold is invariant or quasi-invariant under the action of one or more Lie groups, then its stationary points cannot be isolated, so that classical linearized stability theorem does not apply to it. The first main purpose of this paper is to establish a linearized stability theorem for parabolic differential equations in Banach manifolds which are either invariant or quasi-invariant under actions of a number of Lie groups. The second purpose of this paper is to apply this theorem to analyze stability of stationary solutions of some free boundary problem…
