Within the extended BLMSSM, the exotic Higgs superfields $(Φ_{NL},φ_{NL})$ are added to make the exotic leptons heavy, and the superfields ($Y$,$Y^\prime$) are also introduced to make exotic leptons unstable. This new model is named as the EBLMSSM. We study some charged lepton flavor violating (CLFV) processes in detail in the EBLMSSM, including $l_j\rightarrow l_i γ$, muon conversion to electron in nuclei, the $τ$ decays and $h^0\rightarrow l_i l_j$. Being different from BLMSSM, some particles are redefined in this new model, such as slepton, sneutrino, exotic lepton (neutrino), exotic slepton (sneutrino) and lepton neutralino. We also introduce the mass matrices of superfields $Y$ and spinor $\tilde{Y}$ in the EBLMSSM. All of these lead to new contributions to the CLFV processes. In the suitable parameter space, we obtain the reasonable numerical results. The results of this work will encourage physicists to explore new physics beyond the SM.
We analyze the charged lepton flavor violating (CLFV) decays of vector mesons $V\rightarrow l_i^{\pm}l_j^{\mp}$ with $V\in\{ϕ, J/Ψ, Υ, ρ^0, ω\}$ in BLMSSM model. This new model is introduced as an supersymmetric extension of Standard Model (SM), where local gauged baryon number B and lepton number L are considered. The numerical results indicate BLMSSM model can produce significant contributions to such two-body CLFV decays. And the branching ratios for these CLFV processes can easily reach the present experimental upper bounds. Therefore, searching for CLFV processes of vector mesons may be a…
In a supersymmetric extension of the standard model with local gauged baryon and lepton numbers (BLMSSM), there are new sources for lepton flavor violation, because the right-handed neutrinos, new gauginos and Higgs are introduced. We investigate muon conversion to electron in nuclei within the BLMSSM in detail. The numerical results indicate that the $μ\rightarrow e $ conversion rates in nuclei within the BLMSSM can reach the experimental upper bound, which may be detected in the future experiments.
In the framework of the MSSM extension with local gauged baryon and lepton numbers (BLMSSM), we calculate the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment (MDM) and lepton $(e, μ, τ)$ electric dipole moment (EDM), and discuss how the muon MDM and lepton EDM depend on the parameters within the mass insertion approximation. Among many parameters, $\tanβ$,~$g_L$,~$m_L$ and $μ_H$ are more sensitive parameters for $a^{BL}_μ$. Considering the experimental limitations, our best numerical result of $a^{BL}_μ$ is around $2.5 \times 10^{-9}$, which can well compensate the departure between the experiment data …
To extend the BLMSSM, we not only add exotic Higgs superfields $(Φ_{NL},φ_{NL})$ to make the exotic lepton heavy, but also introduce the superfields($Y$,$Y^\prime$) having couplings with lepton and exotic lepton at tree level. The obtained model is called as EBLMSSM, which has difference from BLMSSM especially for the exotic slepton(lepton) and exotic sneutrino(neutrino). We deduce the mass matrices and the needed couplings in this model. To confine the parameter space, the Higgs boson mass $m_{h^0}$ and the processes $h^0\rightarrow γγ$, $h^0\rightarrow VV, V=(Z,W)$ are studied in the EBLMSSM…
In a supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model(SM) where baryon and lepton numbers are local gauge symmetries (BLMSSM), we investigate the charged lepton flavor violating (CLFV) processes $Z\rightarrow l_i^{\pm}l_j^{\mp}$ after introducing the new gauginos and the right-handed neutrinos. In this model, the branching ratios of $Z\rightarrow l_i^{\pm}l_j^{\mp}$ are around ($10^{-8}\sim10^{-10}$), which approach the present experimental upper bounds. We hope that the branching ratios for these CLFV processes can be detected in the near future.
In a supersymmetric extension of the standard model where baryon and lepton numbers are local gauge symmetries(BLMSSM), we deduce the Feynman rules for neutrinos and new neutralinos. We briey introduce the mass matrices for the particles and the related couplings in this work, which are very useful to research the neutrinos and new neutralinos.
To explaine the matter-antimatter asymmetry, a supersymmetric extention of the standard model is proposed where baryon and lepton numbers are local gauged(BLMSSM), and exotic superfields are introduced when gauge group is enlarged to $SU(3)_C\otimes SU(2)_L\otimes U(1)_Y \otimes U(1)_B \otimes U(1)_L$. As signals of new physics have not been observed on Large Hadron Collider, the parameter space relevant to the masses of new particles is stringently constrainted. By diagonalizing the mass squared matrices for neutral scalar sectors and the mass matrices for exotic quarks, we plot the masses of…
Applying the effective Lagrangian method, we study the Flavor Changing Neutral Current $b\to sγ$ within the minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model where baryon and lepton numbers are local gauge symmetries. Constraints on the parameters are investigated numerically with the experimental data on branching ratio of $\bar{B}\to X_sγ$. Additionally, we present the corrections to direct CP-violation in $\bar{B}\rightarrow X_sγ$ and time-dependent CP-asymmetry in $B\rightarrow K^*γ$. With appropriate assumptions on parameters, we find the direct CP-violation $A_{CP}$ is very small, w…
The significance of discovering the boson of 750 GeV is beyond finding a single heavy boson, because it may hint the location of the scale for new physics beyond the standard model which is the target of long-time exploration. There have been many models to explain the diphoton excess observed by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations and the BLMSSM is one of them. The BLMSSM is an extension of the minimal supersymmetric model where baryon and lepton numbers are local gauge symmetries. We analyze the decay channels $Φ\rightarrow gg$, $Φ\rightarrowγγ$, $Φ\rightarrow Zγ$, and $Φ\rightarrow \bar{t}t,\;…
Extending BLMSSM with exotic Higgs superfields $(Φ_{NL},φ_{NL})$ and superfields ($Y,Y^\prime$), one obtains the new model called as EBLMSSM, where exotic leptons are heavy and have tree level couplings with SM lepton. In this model, some new parameters with CP-violating phases are considered, so there are new contributions to lepton anomalous magnetic dipole moments (MDMs) and electric dipole moments (EDMs). Therefore, we study the one-loop, two-loop Barr-Zee and two-loop Rainbow type corrections to lepton MDMs and EDMs in the EBLMSSM. Considering the constraints from the lightest CP-even Hig…
In this talk, I will present the status of lepton flavor physics in composite Higgs models with partial compositeness in the light of recent data in the lepton sector. I will consider anarchic flavor setups, scenarios with flavor symmetries, and minimal incarnations of the see-saw mechanism that naturally predict non-negligible lepton compositeness. The focus will be on lepton flavor violating processes, dipole moments, and on probes of lepton flavor universality, all providing stringent tests of partial compositeness. The expected size of effects in the different approaches to lepton flavor a…
The observation of charged lepton flavor violation is a clear sign of physics beyond the Standard Model (SM). In this work, we investigate the sensitivity of future lepton colliders to charged lepton flavor violation via on-shell production of bileptons, and compare their sensitivity with current constraints and future sensitivities of low-energy experiments. Bileptons couple to two charged leptons with possibly different flavors and are obtained by expanding the general SM gauge invariant Lagrangians with or without lepton number conservation. We find that future lepton colliders will provide…
I discuss different theories of leptonic flavor and their capability of describing the features of the lepton sector, namely charged lepton masses, neutrino masses, lepton mixing angles and leptonic (low and high energy) CP phases. In particular, I show examples of theories with an abelian flavor symmetry G_f, with a non-abelian G_f as well as theories with non-abelian G_f and CP.
We propose a new mechanism to explain neutrino masses with lepton number conservation, in which the Dirac neutrino masses are generated at the two-loop level involving a dark matter candidate. In this model, branching ratios of lepton flavor violating decays of the Higgs boson can be much larger than those of lepton flavor violating decays of charged leptons. If lepton flavor violating decays of the Higgs boson are observed at future collider experiments without detecting lepton flavor violating decays of charged leptons, most of the models previously proposed for tiny neutrino masses are excl…
The observation of lepton flavor violation indicates new physics beyond the Standard Model. Lepton colliders are ideal facilities to probe charged lepton flavor violation (CLFV) signals induced by new physics at high energy. In this work we perform a comprehensive study of the sensitivity of future lepton colliders to charged lepton flavor violation. We consider the most general renormalizable Lagrangian coupling two leptons to new bosonic particles, involving both $ΔL=0$ and $ΔL=2$ interactions. The CLFV processes are introduced by the exchange of off-shell new particles at tree-level. We fin…
The following proceedings contain a theory perspective on the flavor changing neutral current anomalies reported by LHCb on the ratios $B\to K^{(*)} μμ/B\to K^{(*)} ee$
The article reviews the conditions for lepton-flavor conservation in leptonic interactions. The conditions are similar to those developed in the quark sector. For neutrinos the mass eigenstates are unitary superpositions of flavor states which together with small mass differences produce neutrino oscillations. A new property for neutrinos is the fact that their masses are very small suppressing their couplings to neutral scalar fields. The results are demonstrated in several models.
Exotic Higgs decays are promising channels to discover new physics in the near future. We present a simple model with a new light scalar that couples to the Standard Model through a charged lepton-flavor violating interaction. This can yield exciting new signatures, such as $h \to e^+ e^+ μ^-μ^-$, that currently have no dedicated searches at the Large Hadron Collider. We discuss this model in detail, assess sensitivity from flavor constraints, explore current constraints from existing multi-lepton searches, and construct a new search strategy to optimally target these exotic, lepton-flavor vio…
