Developments on the Jordan-Schwinger construction and contraction for the $su_q(2)$

The contraction and Jordan-Schwinger construction connect the $su(2)$ and the heisenberg algebra, going in oposite directions. This persists in the q-deformed cases, but in a slightly different way. This work investigates this further, discussing some details and results found in the litterature and presenting some new ones, including a non-linear expression that leads the contraction back to the original q-boson algebra used in the Jordan-Schwinger construction.

Jordan-Schwinger realizations of three-dimensional polynomial algebras

A three-dimensional polynomial algebra of order $m$ is defined by the commutation relations $[P_0, P_\pm]$ $=$ $\pm P_\pm$, $[P_+, P_-]$ $=$ $ϕ^{(m)}(P_0)$ where $ϕ^{(m)}(P_0)$ is an $m$-th order polynomial in $P_0$ with the coefficients being constants or central elements of the algebra. It is shown that two given mutually commuting polynomial algebras of orders $l$ and $m$ can be combined to give two distinct $(l+m+1)$-th order polynomial algebras. The Harmonic Oscillator in the Plane and the Jordan-Schwinger Algebras

The direct and indirect Lagrangian representations of the planar harmonic oscillator have been discussed. The reduction of these Lagrangians in their basic forms characterising either chiral, or pseudo - chiral oscillators have been given. A Hamiltonian analysis, showing its equivalence with the Lagrangian formalism has also been provided. Wigner-Eckart theorem and Jordan-Schwinger representation for infinite-dimensional representations of the Lorentz group

The Wigner-Eckart theorem is a well known result for tensor operators of SU(2) and, more generally, any compact Lie group. This paper generalises it to arbitrary Lie groups, possibly non-compact. The result relies on knowledge of recoupling theory between finite-dimensional and arbitrary admissible representations, which may be infinite-dimensional; the particular case of the Lorentz group will be studied in detail. Jordan-Schwinger Representations and Factorised Yang-Baxter Operators

The construction elements of the factorised form of the Yang-Baxter R operator acting on generic representations of q-deformed sl(n+1) are studied. We rely on the iterative construction of such representations by the restricted class of Jordan-Schwinger representations. The latter are formulated explicitly. On this basis the parameter exchange and intertwining operators are derived.

A generalization of the Jordan-Schwinger map: classical version and its q--deformation

For all three--dimensional Lie algebras the construction of generators in terms of functions on 4-dimensional real phase space is given with a realization of the Lie product in terms of Poisson brackets. This is the classical Jordan--Schwinger map which is also given for the deformed algebras ${\cal {SL}}_{q}(2,\R)$, ${\cal E}_{q} (2)$ and ${\cal H}_q(1)$. The ${\cal U}_{q}(n)$ algebra is discussed in the same context.

Super-Hopf realizations of Lie Superalgebras: Braided Paraparticle extensions of the Jordan-Schwinger map

Jordanian Twist Quantization of D=4 Lorentz and Poincare Algebras and D=3 Contraction Limit

We describe in detail two-parameter nonstandard quantum deformation of D=4 Lorentz algebra $\mathfrak{o}(3,1)$, linked with Jordanian deformation of $\mathfrak{sl} (2;\mathbb{C})$. Using twist quantization technique we obtain the explicit formulae for the deformed coproducts and antipodes. Further extending the considered deformation to the D=4 Poincaré algebra we obtain a new Hopf-algebraic deformation of four-dimensional relativistic symmetries with dimensionless deformation parameter. $PT$ symmetry and a dynamical realization of the SU(1,1) algebra

We show that the elementary modes of the planar harmonic oscillator can be quantised in the framework of quantum mechanics based on pseudo-hermitian hamiltonians. These quantised modes are demonstrated to act as dynamical structures behind a new Jordan - Schwinger realization of the SU(1,1) algebra. This analysis complements the conventional Jordan - Schwinger construction of the SU(2) algebra based on hermitian hamiltonians of a doublet of oscillators.

Schwinger's Picture of Quantum Mechanics II: Algebras and Observables

The kinematical foundations of Schwinger's algebra of selective measurements were discussed in a previous paper (arXiv:1905.12274) and, as a consequence of this, a new picture of quantum mechanics based on groupoids was proposed. In this paper, the dynamical aspects of the theory are analysed. For that, the algebra generated by the observables, as well as the notion of state, are dicussed, and the structure of the transition functions, that plays an instrumental role in Schwinger's picture, is elucidated. Contraction of Dirac matrices via chord diagrams

Chord diagrams and combinatorics of word algebras are used to model products of Dirac matrices, their traces, and contractions. A simple formula for the result of arbitrary contractions is derived, simplifying and extending an old contraction algorithm due to Kahane. This formula is then used to express the Schwinger parametric integrand of a QED Feynman integral in a much simplified form, with the entire internal tensor structure eliminated. Possible next steps for further simplification, including a specific conjecture, are discussed.

Non-Gaussian generalizations of Wick's theorems, related to the Schwinger-Dyson equation

In this work we present a number of generalizations of Wick's theorems on integrals with Gaussian weight to a larger class of weights which we call subgaussian. Schwinger-Dyson Equations in Group Field Theories of Quantum Gravity

In this talk, we elaborate on the operation of graph contraction introduced by Gurau in his study of the Schwinger-Dyson equations. After a brief review of colored tensor models, we identify the Lie algebra appearing in the Schwinger-Dyson equations as a Lie algebra associated to a Hopf algebra of the Connes-Kreimer type. Then, we show how this operation also leads to an analogue of the Wilsonian flow for the effective action. Finally, we sketch how this formalism may be adapted to group field theories.

Some comments on $q$-deformed oscillators and $q$-deformed $su(2)$ algebras

The various relations between $q$-deformed oscillators algebras and the $q$-deformed $su(2)$ algebras are discussed.
