Considering the quark condensate contributions, the relevant form factors of these transitions are estimated. The branching ratios of these channel modes are also calculated and compared with the obtained data for other approaches.

We present a detailed analysis of exclusive semileptonic decays of Bc meson involving pseudoscalar and vector mesons in the BSW framework, by investigating the effects of the flavor dependence on the average transverse quark momentum inside a meson. Branching ratios of exclusive semileptonic decays of Bc meson are predicted.

Exclusive semileptonic B meson decays to orbitally excited D mesons are investigated in the infinitely heavy quark limit in the framework of the relativistic quark model based on the quasipotential approach. The B\to D^{**}eνIsgur-Wise functions τ_{3/2}(w) and τ_{1/2}(w) are determined. It is found that the relativistic transformation of the meson wave functions (Wigner rotation of the light quark spin) contribute already at the leading order of the heavy quark expansion.

By using a constituent quark model we compute the form factors relevant to semileptonic transitions of B mesons into low-lying p-wave charmed mesons. We evaluate the q^2 dependence of these form factors and compare them with other model calculations. The Isgur-Wise functions tau(1/2) and tau(3/2) are also obtained in the heavy quark limit of our results.
Semileptonic decays of D-mesons into scalar hadronic states are investigated. The form factors of the weak currents, which appear in the semileptonic decays of the heavy pseudoscalar mesons, are calculated within the quark confinement model by taking into account, for the first time, the structure of heavy meson vertex and the finite quark mass contribution in the heavy quark propagators. In this paper we compute, within in the context of a relativistic quark model, the Isgur-Wise functions for exclusive semileptonic $\bar B \to X_c$ decays, where $X_c$ is any charmed mesons with total spin $J=0,1,2$ or one of their first excited states. The relevant matrix elements are computed by a direct numerical integration, in coordinate space, of the convolution of the wave function of the $B$ meson at rest and the wave function of the $X_c$ meson, boosted according with its recoil factor. Our results are compared with other predictions found in the existing literature.
In the extended $U(3)\times U(3)$ NJL model, semileptonic decays of $ρ$, $ω$, $ϕ$, $η$ and $η'$ mesons in both the ground and first radially excited states are described. Quark loops of the anomalous type are considered, which are based on the vertex $η\to VV$. The obtained results are in satisfactory agreement with the existing experimental data. We evaluate semileptonic and two--meson nonleptonic decays of the $B_c^-$ meson in the framework of a nonrelativistic quark model. The former are done in spectator approximation using one--body current operators at the quark level. Our model reproduces the constraints of heavy quark spin symmetry obtained in the limit of infinite heavy quark mass. For the two--meson nonleptonic decays we work in factorization approximation. We compare our results to the ones obtained in different relativistic approaches.
The parton model for semileptonic B meson decays is studied with special attention to the decay distributions. We find that the spectra show dramatic variations when we introduce cuts on the hadronic energy or invariant mass of hadrons. Results for both $b\rightarrow u$ and $b\rightarrow c$ decays are presented. The detailed spectra may help to separate the two types of decays.

A relativistic constituent quark model is adopted to give an unified description of the leptonic and semileptonic decays of pseudoscalar mesons (π, K, D, D_s, B, B_s). The calculated leptonic decay constants and form factors are found to be in good agreement with available experimental data and the results of other approaches. Eventually, the model is found to reproduce the scaling behaviours of spin-flavor symmetry in the heavy-quark limit.

We present the first complete results for the semileptonic and rare radiative form factors of B-mesons weak decay into a light vector-meson (rho, omega, K*, phi) in the light-cone sum-rule approach. The calculation includes radiative corrections, higher-twist corrections and SU(3)-breaking effects. The theoretical uncertainty is investigated in detail. A simple parametrization of the form factors is given in terms of three parameters each. We find that the form factors observe several relations inspired by heavy-quark symmetry.

I review the QCD sum rules calculations of the form factors governing the semileptonic decays of charmed and beauty mesons. In particular, I discuss the predicted dependence of the various form factors on $q^2$ and how it can be obtained for the form factors of vector and axial currents. In some cases the $q^2$ dependence, computed by QCD sum rules, is different from the outcome of lattice QCD. A Tau-Charm factory could be an efficient tool to study this aspect of the charmed meson transitions.
We present the semileptonic decay of $B_{c}$ meson in a QCD potential model with the coulombic part of the Cornell potential $-\frac{4α_{S}}{3r}+br+c$ as perturbation. Computing the slope and curvature of Isgur Wise function in this approach, we study the pseudoscalar and vector form factors for the transition of $B_{c}$ meson to its S wave charmonium $c\bar{c}$ states. Numerical estimates of widths for the transitions of $B_{c}\rightarrow J/ψ(η_{c})lν_{l}$ are presented. The results are found to be in good agreement with other theoretical values.
The anomalous value of the tensor form factor in the kaon decay K -> pi e nu and the destructive interference in pion decay pi -> e nu gamma can be simultaneously described by admixture of a tensor interaction in the standard V-A one. It is shown that the same tensor interaction can describe recent HERA data at very large Q^2.

We calculate the radiative corrections to the nonleptonic inclusive B decay mode $b\to c ud$ taking into account the charm quark mass. The corrections increase the decay rate by (4--8)\%, depending on the renormalization point. Using these results, we obtain an improved theoretical prediction for the semileptonic branching ratio of B mesons. This talk relies on work done in collaboration with E. Bagan, V.M.\ Braun and P. The large recoil momentum of the final $π(ρ)$ meson allows for the expansion of the decay form factors at $q^2=0$ in the inverse powers of $b$-quark mass. This is due to the improved quality of the data and to the increasing maturity of the theoretical treatment of non-perturbative corrections. We evaluate the form factors describing the exclusive decay B-> pi l nu by using a Constituent Quark-Meson model based on an effective quark-meson Lagrangian (CQM). The model allows for an expansion in the pion momenta and we consider terms up to the first order in the pion field derivatives. We compute the leading terms in the soft pion limit and consider corrections to this limit.
