Flow in pPb collisions at 5 TeV?

There is little doubt that hydrodynamic flow has been observed in heavy ion collisions at the LHC and RHIC, mainly based on results on azimuthal anisotropies, but also on particle spectra of identified particles, perfectly compatible with hydrodynamic expansions. Surprisingly, in p-Pb collisions one observes a very similar behavior. So do we see flow even in p-Pb? We will try to answer this question.

Evidence for flow in pPb collisions at 5 TeV from v2 mass splitting

We show that a fluid dynamical scenario describes quantitatively the observed mass splitting of the elliptical flow coefficients v2 for pions, kaons, and protons. This provides a strong argument in favor of the existence of a fluid dynamical expansion in pPb collisions at 5TeV.

Diffusion-model analysis of pPb and PbPb collisions at LHC energies

We present an analysis of centrality-dependent pseudorapidity distributions of produced charged hadrons in pPb and PbPb collisions at the LHC energy of sqrt{s_NN}=5.02 TeV, and of minimum-bias pPb collisions at 8.16 TeV within the nonequilibrium-statistical relativistic diffusion model (RDM). In a three-source approach, the role of the fragmentation sources is emphasized. Analysis of pPb collisions at LHC energies in the relativistic diffusion model

Particle production sources in pPb collisions at LHC energies are investigated in pseudorapidity space as functions of centrality. The nonequilibrium-statistical relativistic diffusion model (RDM) with three sources is applied to the analysis of preliminary charged-hadron distributions measured by the ATLAS and ALICE collaborations in pPb collisions at 5.02 TeV. Freeze-out of Strange Hadron in pp, pPb and PbPb Collisions at LHC Energies

In this article, we will present a systematic analysis of transverse momentum spectra of the strange hadron in different multiplicity events produced in pp collision at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV, pPb collision at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV and PbPb collision at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV. Top-quark pair production cross sections at NNLO+NNLL in pPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 8.16 TeV

Total and fiducial top pair ($t\bar{t}$) production cross sections in proton-lead (pPb) collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 8.16 TeV are computed at next-to-next-to-leading-order (NNLO) accuracy including next-to-next-to-leading-log (NNLL) gluon resummation, using the CT14 and CT10 proton parton distribution functions (PDF), and the EPPS16 and EPS09 nuclear PDF parametrizations for the lead ion. Hot medium effects on J/psi production in p+Pb collisions at sqrt{s_{NN}}=5.02 TeV

Based on a kinetic description of J/psi dissociation and production in an expanding quark-gluon plasma that is described by a 2+1 dimensional ideal hydrodynamics, we have studied the hot medium effects on J/psi production in p+Pb collisions at sqrt{s_{NN}}=5.02 TeV. Including also the cold nuclear matter effects, we are able to reproduce recent experimental results on the nuclear modification factor R_{pPb}(J/psi) measured by the ALICE Collaboration. Impact of the Nuclear Modification of the Gluon Densities on J/Psi production in pPb collisions at sqrt(s_NN) = 5 TeV

We update our previous studies of nuclear-matter effects on J/Psi production in proton-nucleus for the recent LHC pPb runs at sqrt(s_NN)=5 TeV. We have analysed the effects of the modification of the gluon PDFs in nucleus, using an exact kinematics for a 2->2 process, namely g+g->J/Psi+g as expected from LO pQCD. Nuclear effects in photoproduction of heavy quarks and vector mesons in ultraperipheral PbPb and pPb collisions at the LHC

The comparison of photoproduction cross sections for $c\bar{c}$ and b-b(bar) in PbPb and pPb collisions can give sensitivity to nuclear shadowing effects.
