In 2011 Radyushkin outlined the practical implementation of the One-Component Double Distribution formalism in realistic Generalized Parton Distribution models. We compare the One-Component Double Distribution framework to the standard one and compute Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering observables for both. In particular the new implementation is more flexible, offering a greater range of variation of the real and imaginary parts of the associated Compton Form Factor while still allowing to recover results similar to the classical approach. Moreover the polynomiality property is satisfied up to the highest order. Although the comparison to experimental data may be improved, the One-Component Double Distribution modeling is thus an attractive alternative.
We present a set of formulas to extract the longitudinal structure function from the proton structure function and its derivatives with respect to lnQ2 in the next-to-next-to-leading order of the perturbative theory at low x based on a hard poemron exchange. The behavior of the DIS cross section ratio R(x;Q2) and the ratio FL(x;Q2)=F2(x;Q2) studied and compared with the experimental data, also these behaviors controlled by the color dipole model bound. These results show a good agreement with the DIS experimental data throughout the low values of x. These results within the next-to-next-to-lea…
We present a global analysis program for the generalized parton distributions (GPDs) based on conformal moment expansion. We apply the strategy of universal moment parameterization to fit both the collinear parton distribution functions (PDFs) from phenomenology and generalized form factors from lattice calculations, and show that the parameterization is flexible enough to accommodate these constraints. In addition, we can also fit direct lattice calculations of GPDs from large-momentum effective theory. In this work we focus on the analysis of $t$-dependent PDFs which correspond to GPDs in th…
We propose new parameterizations for the border and skewness functions appearing in the description of 3D nucleon structure in the language of Generalized Parton Distributions (GPDs). These parameterizations are constructed in a way to fulfill the basic properties of GPDs, like their reduction to Parton Density Functions and Elastic Form Factors. They also rely on the power behavior of GPDs in the $x \to 1$ limit and the propounded analyticity property of Mellin moments of GPDs. We evaluate Compton Form Factors (CFFs), the sub-amplitudes of the Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering (DVCS) process,…
We show that Mellin moments of generalized parton distributions, given as even polynomials in the skewness parameter, are obtained from the Taylor expansion of light front wave functions. Furthermore, we derive non-standard versions of the inverse Radon transform to obtain the double distribution from the parton number conserved light front wave function overlap. These transformations are utilized to extend a generalized parton distribution from the outer region to the central one. We exemplify the formalism for a light front wave function that arises from an AdS/QCD duality conjecture.
In this paper, both the unpolarized and the polarized $ρ$ meson generalized parton distributions are investigated in the framework of the Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model using proper time regularization scheme. The symmetry properties of $ρ$ meson generalized parton distributions are checked. The three independent distribution functions in deep inelastic scattering, $F_1(x)$, $b_1(x)$ and $g_1(x)$, and the Sachs-like charge, magnetic, and quadruple form factors $G_C(t)$, $G_M(t)$ and $G_Q(t)$, which are the first Mellin moments of unpolarized generalized parton distributions are obtained. In additio…
We investigate the relations between transverse momentum dependent parton distributions (TMDs) and generalized parton distributions (GPDs) in a light-front quark-diquark model motivated by soft wall AdS/QCD. Many relations are found to have similar structure in different models. It is found that a relation between the Sivers function and the GPD $E_q$ can be obtained in this model in terms of a lensing function. The quark orbital angular momentum is calculated and the results are compared with the results in other similar models. Implications of the results are discussed. Relations among diffe…
