Relativistic diffusive motion in random electromagnetic fields

We show that the relativistic dynamics in a Gaussian random electromagnetic field can be approximated by the relativistic diffusion of Schay and Dudley. Lorentz invariant dynamics in the proper time leads to the diffusion in the proper time. The dynamics in the laboratory time gives the diffusive transport equation corresponding to the Juettner equilibrium at the inverse temperature β^{-1}=mc^{2}. The diffusion constant is expressed by the field strength correlation function (Kubo's formula).

Relativistic diffusive transport

We discuss transport equations resulting from relativistic diffusions in the proper time. We show that a solution of the transport equation can be obtained from the solution of the diffusion equation by means of an integration over the proper time. We study the stochastic processes solving the relativistic diffusion equation and the relativistic transport equation. Constrained Dynamics of an Anomalous $(g/neq 2)$ Relativistic Spinning Particle in Electromagnetic Background

In this paper we have considered the dynamics of an anomalous ($g\neq 2$) charged relativistic spinning particle in the presence of an external electromagnetic field. The constraint analysis is done and the complete set of Dirac brackets are provided that generate the canonical Lorentz algebra and dynamics through Hamiltonian equations of motion. The spin-induced effective curvature of spacetime and its possible connection with Analogue Gravity models are commented upon.

We show the existence and uniqueness of a DiPerna-Lions flow for relativistic particles subject to a Lorentz force in an electromagnetic field. The electric and magnetic fields solves the linear Maxwell system in the void but for singular initial conditions. As the corresponding force field is only in $L^2$, we have to perform a careful analysis of the cancellations over a trajectory.
