In this paper, the general formulation for inextensible flows of curves on oriented surface in $\mathbb{R}^3 $ is investigated. The necessary and sufficient conditions for inextensible curve flow lying an oriented surface are expressed as a partial differential equation involving the geodesic curvature and the geodesic torsion. Moreover, some special cases of inextensible curves on oriented surface are given.

A note on Lagrangian submanifolds of twistor spaces and their relation to superminimal surfaces

In this paper a bijective correspondence between superminimal surfaces of an oriented Riemannian $4$-manifold and particular Lagrangian submanifolds of the twistor space over the $4$-manifold is proven. Four-manifolds with positive curvature

In this note we prove that a four-dimensional compact oriented half-confor\-mally flat Riemannian manifold $M^4$ is topologically $\mathbb{S}^{4}$ or $\mathbb{C}\mathbb{P}^{2},$ provided that the sectional curvatures all lie in the interval $[\frac{3\sqrt{3}-5}{4},\,1].$ In addition, we use the notion of biorthogonal (sectional) curvature to obtain a pinching condition which guarantees that a four-dimensional compact manifold is homeomorphic to a connected sum of copies of the complex projective plane or the $4$-sphere.

Notes on the "Ramified" Seiberg-Witten Equations and Invariants

In these notes, we carefully analyze the properties of the "ramified" Seiberg-Witten equations associated with supersymmetric configurations of the Seiberg-Witten abelian gauge theory with surface operators on an oriented closed four-manifold X. A note on invariant constant curvature immersions in Minkowski space

Let $S$ be a compact, orientable surface of hyperbolic type.
