We present a catalog of 56 candidate intermediate mass eclipsing binary systems extracted from the 3rd data release of the All Sky Automated Survey. We gather pertinent observational data and derive orbital properties, including ephemerides, for these systems as a prelude to anticipated spectroscopic observations. We find that 37 of the 56, or ~66% of the systems are not identified in the Simbad Astronomical Database as known binaries. As a specific example, we show spectroscopic data obtained for the system HI Mon (B0 V + B0.5 V) observed at key orbital phases based on the computed ephemeris, and we present a combined spectroscopic and photometric solution for the system and give stellar parameters for each component.
We report the identification of a new, long period detached eclipsing binary by the All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae (ASAS-SN). Combining V-band photometry from ASAS-SN, ASAS and KELT, we constructed a light curve spanning 2006-2018. ASASSN-V J192543.72+402619.0 is an eccentric detached eclipsing binary with an orbital period of $P\sim7.3$ yr, a minimum orbital eccentricity of $e_{min}\sim0.2$ and a primary eclipse lasting $\sim160$ d. For more than three years now we have been conducting a spectroscopic survey of detached eclipsing binaries (DEBs) from the All-Sky Automated Survey (ASAS) database. Thousands of high-resolution spectra of over 300 systems were secured, and used for radial velocity measurements and spectral analysis. In our sample we found a zoo of multiple systems, such as spectroscopic triples and quadruples, visual binaries with eclipsing components, and circumbinary low-mass companions, including sub-stellar-mass candidates

We report the identification of the bright (V${\sim}13.3$ mag) star FY Sct as a long period detached eclipsing binary using a combined ASAS-SN and ASAS light curve spanning 2000-2018. The orbital period is P${\sim}2.57$ years and the primary eclipse lasts ${\sim}73$ days. The eclipse profile is suggestive of a disk eclipsing binary rather than a stellar component. We also detect ${\sim}0.4$ mag pulsations with a period of P${\sim78}$ d. The next eclipse begins on September, 28, 2018. Further photometric and spectroscopic observations are encouraged, particularly when the system is in eclipse.
Detached eclipsing binaries are the primary tool used to measure precise masses and radii of stars. In our previous paper estimating the parameters of more than 30,000 detached eclipsing binaries, we identified 766 eclipsing binaries with additional features in their All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae (ASAS-SN) and Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) light curves. We use ASAS V-band and ASAS-SN g-band observations to model the long-period detached eclipsing binary ASASSN-21co. ASAS observations show an eclipse of depth V ~ 0.6 mag in April of 2009. ASAS-SN g-band observations from March of 2021 show an eclipse of similar duration and depth, suggesting an orbital period of 11.9 years. We report the discovery of a bright (V=11.6 mag) eclipsing hot subdwarf binary of spectral type B with a late main sequence companion from the All Sky Automated Survey (ASAS 102322-3737.0). Photometric data from the ASAS - South (declination less than 29 deg) survey have been used for identification of bright stars located near the sources from the ROSAT All Sky Survey Bright Source Catalog (RBSC). In total 6028 stars brighter than 12.5 mag in I- or V -bands have been selected and analyzed for periodicity. We report photometric and spectroscopic observations of the eclipsing SU UMa-type dwarf nova ASASSN-18aan. We observed the 2018 superoutburst with 2.3 mag brightening and found the orbital period ($P_{\rm orb}$) to be 0.149454(3) d, or 3.59 hr. This is longward of the period gap, establishing ASASSN-18aan as one of a small number of long-$P_{\rm orb}$ SU UMa-type dwarf novae. Brightening of Hen 3-860, previously classified as an H$α$ emitter, was detected by the ASAS-SN survey at the end of the year 2016. We have obtained the first spectroscopic observations of the transient and supplemented them with photometric data from the DASCH archive of astronomical plates, ASAS and ASAS-SN surveys. Based on the results of our analysis, we can classify the object as a classical symbiotic star of the infrared type S, consisting of an M2-3 giant with $T_{\rm g}$ $\sim$ 3 550 K, a radius $R_{\rm g}\sim$ 60 - 75 R$_{\odot}$, and a luminosity $L_{\rm g}\sim$ 540 - 760 L$_{\odot}$…
Analyzing available photometry from Hipparcos, ASAS, Pi of the sky and Super WASP, we found that the system SY Phe is a detached eclipsing binary with similar components and orbital period about 5.27089 days. It has a slightly eccentric orbit, however the apsidal motion is probably very slow. The system undergoes an additional photometric variation on longer time scales superimposed on the eclipsing light curve. It also contains one distant component, hence the third light was also considered.

Motivated by the detection of a recent outburst of the massive luminous blue variable LMC-R71, which reached an absolute magnitude M_V = -9.3 mag, we undertook a systematic study of the optical variability of 1268 massive stars in the Large Magellanic Cloud, using a recent catalog by Bonanos et al. It is included in the SACY catalog as a potential young star and classified as an eclipsing binary in the ASAS Catalog. We have analyzed spectroscopic and photometric observations of the triple system. The high-resolution optical spectrum of HIP96515A has been used to derive a mass ratio, M_2/M_1, close to 0.9, with the SB2 components showing spectral types of M1 and M2. We find an improved orbital period of $P_\mathrm{o}= 2.0084530 \pm 0.0000006 ~\mathrm{d}$. We calculated physical and orbital properties for 2M06464003+0109157, a 1.06 day eclipsing double lined spectroscopic binary. We modelled the system's ASAS-SN and TESS light curves, measuring the system's inclination and radii of each component. Extracting radial velocities for each component from 6 SDSS/APOGEE spectra, we measured the system's mass ratio and performed a full orbital fit. In this work we report the discovery and analysis of three new triply eclipsing triple star systems found with the TESS mission during its observations of the northern skies: TICs 193993801, 388459317, and 52041148. We utilized the TESS precision photometry of the binary eclipses and third-body eclipsing events, ground-based archival and follow-up photometric data, eclipse timing variations, archival spectral energy distributions, as well as theoretical evolution tracks in a joint photodynamical analysis to deduce the system masses and orbital parameters of both the inner and outer orbits. We characterize an all-sky catalog of ${\sim} 8,400$ $δ$ Scuti variables in ASAS-SN, which includes ${\sim} 3,300$ new discoveries. Using distances from \textit{Gaia} DR2, we derive period-luminosity relationships (PLRs) for both the fundamental mode and overtone pulsators in the $W_{JK}$, $V$, Gaia DR2 $G$, $J$, $H$, $K_s$ and $W_1$ bands. We find that the overtone pulsators have a dominant overtone mode, with many sources pulsating in the second overtone or higher order modes. Magnetic chemically peculiar (mCP) stars allow the investigation of such diverse phenomena as atomic diffusion, magnetic fields and stellar rotation. The aim of the present investigation is to enhance our knowledge of the rotational properties of mCP stars by increasing the sample of objects with accurately determined rotational periods. ASAS J174406+2446.8 was originally found as a $δ$ Scuti-type pulsating star with the period P=0.189068 $days$ by ASAS survey. However, the LAMOST stellar parameters reveal that it is far beyond the red edge of pulsational instability strip on the $\log g-T$ diagram of $δ$ Scuti pulsating stars. To understand the physical properties of the variable star, we observed it by the 1.0-m Cassegrain reflecting telescope at Yunnan Observatories. We present the results of the high-resolution spectroscopic observations of the neglected binary system HD\,194495 (B3\,IV-V+B4\,V). A combined analysis of three different photometric data set ($Tycho$ B$_T$ and V$_T$ photometry, H$_p$-band data of $Hipparcos$ and $V-$band data of ASAS3 photometry) and radial velocities indicates that the system has an orbital period of 4.90494 $\pm$ 0.00005 days and an inclination of 69$\pm$1 degrees. Period or amplitude variations in eclipsing binaries may reveal the presence of additional massive bodies in the system, such as circumbinary planets. Here, we have studied twelve previously-known eclipsing post-common-envelope binaries for evidence of such light curve variations, on the basis of multi-year observations in the SuperWASP archive.
