The average transverse momentum dependence on multiplicity shows in many experiments at center of mass energies ranging from 22 to 7000 GeV a slope change at a charged particle rapidity density constant within systematic uncertainties. We find correlated signals which together with the slope change may indicate a transition to a new mechanism of particles production.

This Letter presents a study of the reconstruction and identification of $H\to WW^*$ with high transverse momentum, where both $W^{(*)}$ bosons decay hadronically. We show that the boosted $H\to WW^*$ can be effectively reconstructed as a single jet and identified using jet substructures in the center-of-mass frame of the jet. Such a reconstruction and identification approach can discriminate the boosted $H\to WW^*$ in the full hadronic final state from QCD jets. L3 preliminary data of two-particle Bose-Einstein correlations are reported for hadronic Z^0 decays in e+e- annihilation at LEP. The invariant relative momentum Q is identified as the eigenvariable of the measured correlation function. Significant anti-correlations are observed in the Bose-Einstein correlation function in a broad region of 0.5 - 1.6 GeV with a minimum at Q close to 0.8 GeV. Boosted dark matter (BDM) is a well-motivated class of dark matter (DM) candidates in which a small component of DM is relativistic at the present time. We lay the foundation for BDM searches via hadronic interactions in large liquid-argon time-projection chambers (LArTPCs), such as DUNE. We investigate BDM-nucleus scattering in detail by developing new event generation techniques with a parameterized detector simulation. We study the discovery potential in a DUNE-like experiment using the low threshold and directionality of hadron detection in LArTPCs and compare with other experiments.
