According to the helicity conservation (HCns) theorem, the sum of the helicities should be conserved, in any 2-to-2 processes in MSSM with R-parity conservation, at high energies; i.e. all amplitudes violating this rule, must vanish asymptotically. The realization of HCns in gluon-fusion to charginos or neutralinos is studied, at the one loop electroweak order (EW), and simple high energy expressions are derived for the non-vanishing helicity conserving (HC) amplitudes. These are very similar to the corresponding expressions for $gg \to W^+W^-, ZZ, γZ, γγ$ derived before. Asymptotic relations among observable unpolarized cross sections for many such processes are then obtained, some of which may hold at LHC-type energies.
We present the one-loop corrected decay widths of a neutral (charged) Higgs boson into a chargino or neutralino pair (chargino and neutralino) in the CP-conserving MSSM. The chargino and neutralino parameters are renormalized in the on-shell scheme and it is shown that the correction due to the chargino/neutralino mass matrix renormalization is comparable to the conventional vertex correction. The full corrections are typically of the order of 10%.
The chargino and neutralino pair production processes at $e^+e^-$ collisions are explored to determine the underlying SUSY parameters. The sum rules for the couplings are used to check the closure of two-chargino and four-neutralino systems in the minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model.
The goal of this article is to derive the Feynman rules involving charginos, neutralinos, double charged gauge bosons and sleptons in a 3-3-1 supersymmetric model. Using these Feynman rules we will calculate the production of a double charged chargino with a neutralino and also the production of a pair of single charged charginos, both in an electron- electron $e^-e^-$ process.
We examine for representative gaugino-higgsino mixing scenarios sneutrino-neutralino and sneutrino-chargino production in deep inelastic ep-scattering at the cm-energy of 1.8 TeV. The cross sections for sneutrino-chargino production are more than one order of magnitude bigger than those for sneutrino-squark production. Also for zino-like neutralinos we find cross sections at least comparable to those for sneutrino-squark production.
It is shown how the fundamental gaugino and higgsino parameters of the chargino and neutralino system in the MSSM can completely be determined in high--precision experiments at e+e- linear colliders even if in their initial phase only the light charginos $\tildeχ^\pm_1$ and the light neutralinos $\tildeχ^0_1$ and $\tildeχ^0_2$ are kinematically accessible.
We have included the effective description of squark interactions with charginos/neutralinos in the MadGraph MSSM model. This effective description includes the effective Yukawa couplings, and another logarithmic term which encodes the supersymmetry-breaking. We have performed an extensive test of our implementation analyzing the results of the partial decay widths of squarks into charginos and neutralinos obtained by using FeynArts/FormCalc programs and the new model file in MadGraph. We present results for the cross-section of top-squark production decaying into charginos and neutralinos.
In Split-Supersymmetry models, where the only non-Standard Model states produceable at LHC-energies consist of a gluino plus neutralinos and charginos, it is conventionally accepted that only mass differences among these latter are measureable at the LHC. The present work shows that application of a simple `Kinematic Selection' technique allows full reconstruction of neutralino and chargino masses from one event, in principle. A Monte Carlo simulation demonstrates the feasibilty of using this technique at the LHC.
The present status of the calculation of radiative corrections to chargino and neutralino pair production processes in the MSSM is summarized. The main focus will be on the use of the on-shell renormalization scheme for charginos and neutralinos in conjunction with DR-bar parameters, such as those of the SPA conventions. Associated soft and hard bremsstrahlung and an appropriate separation of QED-like parts in the full one-loop contributions will be addressed.
We examine for representative gaugino-higgsino mixing scenarios slepton-neutralino and slepton-chargino production in deep inelastic ep-scattering at $\sqrt{s}=1.8$ TeV. We find sneutrino-chargino production to be the dominant process with cross sections more than one order of magnitude bigger than those for slepton-squark production. Also for associated production of sneutrinos and zino-like neutralinos the cross sections are at least comparable to those for $\tilde l \tilde q$-production, whereas selectron-neutralino/chargino production is with cross sections significantly smaller than those…
We analyze the charge-parity (CP) asymmetry in the charged Higgs boson decays to chargino-neutralino pairs, H^- -> chargino_i + neutralino_j. We show first that these modes have a large branching ratio for m_H^- > 600 GeV. We use Cutkosky rules to obtain the analytical formulas needed for the evaluation of the asymmetry under consideration. We then calculate the CP asymmetry in chargino-neutralino decays by including supersymmetric mass bounds, as well as constraints from b -> s gamma, (g-2)_mu, Deltaρand electric dipole moments. Finally, we discuss observability of the asymmetry at the LHC by…
We study the contribution of charginos and neutralinos of the Minimal SUSY extension of the Standard model (MSSM) to the 1-loop vertices ZAA, ZZA, ZZZ, and examine the related cancellation of anomalies. It is found that when the SUSY parameter μsatisfies |μ| >> M,M', m_W, the couplings of charginos and neutralinos with the gauge bosons become purely vectorial, and then their contribution to the amplitudes for ZAA, ZZA and ZZZ vanish, which implies that this sector of the MSSM does not generate a Wess-Zumino term. We evaluate also the contribution of charginos and neutralinos to the ρparameter,…
Fermion superpartners - neutralinos and charginos in the supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 model are studied. By imposition R parity, their masses and eigenstates are derived. Assuming that Bino-like is dark matter, its mass density is calculated. The cosmological dark matter density gives a bound on mass of LSP neutralino in the range of 20 - 100 GeV, while the bound on mass of the lightest slepton is in the range of 60 - 130 GeV
Within the low-energy effective Minimal Supersymmetric extension of Standard Model (effMSSM) we calculated the neutralino relic density taking into account slepton-neutralino and neutralino-chargino/neutralino coannihilation channels. We performed comparative study of these channels and obtained that both of them give sizable contributions to the reduction of the relic density. Due to these coannihilation processes some models (mostly with large neutralino masses) enter into the cosmologically interesting region for relic density, but other models leave this region. Nevertheless, in general, t…
We consider different patterns of supersymmetry breaking gaugino masses, and implications of these patterns for the phenomenology of neutralinos and charginos in models of low energy supersymmetry. We outline a general procedure for obtaining approximate values for the neutralino masses relevant for our analysis, and describe the constraints on the gaugino mass parameters which follow from the present experimental limits on the mass of the lightest chargino. We evaluate an upper bound on the mass of the lightest neutralino that follows from the structure of the mass matrix in different models …
We study single superparticle productions at the linear collider, putting particular emphasis on resonant processes. We find that there exists a wide region of model parameters where single chargino and neutralino productions dominate over R-violating fermion-antifermion final states. For certain values of mu and M_2 it is possible to produce even the heavier charginos and neutralinos at significant rates, amplifying the total cross section and obtaining interesting chains of cascade decays. Effects from initial-state radiation are also included.
The region of the supersymmetry parameter space, in which charginos decay predominantly into sneutrinos and leptons: chi+ -> \tildeν + l+, is not excluded experimentally for small mass differences between charginos and sneutrinos. The decay sneutrinos are invisible in R-parity conserving theories since they are either the lightest supersymmetric particles or they decay primarily into the channel: neutrino + lightest neutralino. If the energy of the decay leptons is so small that they escape detection, chargino events e+e- -> chi+chi- in e+e- collisions remain invisible, eroding the excluded ch…
Though LEP II direct searches still cannot exclude a chargino nearly degenerate with the lightest neutralino if its mass is only slightly above half of the Z boson mass and the sneutrino is light, it can be excluded indirectly analyzing precision data. In this particular limit simple analytical formulas for oblique electroweak radiative corrections are presented.
The CP-violating effects in the neutralino sector of the MSSM can be observed in event-counting type experiments, i.e. without the need of exploiting variables sensitive to beam or neutralino polarization. On the other hand, such CP-odd effects in the chargino sector can be generated only at the loop level. We contrast the two sectors and present results of full one-loop analysis of the CP-odd asymmetry in the non-diagonal chargino pair production in e+e- collisions.
We discuss the choice of input parameters for the renormalization of the chargino and neutralino sector in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) in the on-shell scheme. We show that one should chose the masses of a bino-like, a wino-like and a higgsino-like state as inputs in order to avoid large corrections to the masses of the other eigenstates in this sector. We also show that schemes where the higgsino-like input state is a neutralino are more stable than those where the mass of the higgsino-like chargino is used as input. The most stable scheme uses the masses of the wino-like …
We review the evaluation of two-body decay modes of charginos in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with complex parameters (cMSSM). Assuming heavy scalar quarks we take into account all decay channels involving charginos, neutralinos, (scalar) leptons, Higgs bosons and SM gauge bosons. The evaluation of the decay widths is based on a full one-loop calculation including hard and soft QED radiation. Here we focus on the decays involving the Lightest Supersymmetric Particle (LSP), i.e. the lightest neutralino, or a heavier neutralino and a W boson. The higher-order corrections of the char…
Though LEP II direct searches still cannot exclude a chargino nearly degenerate with the lightest neutralino if their mass is only slightly above half of the Z boson mass, it can be excluded indirectly analyzing precision data. In this particular limit simple analytical formulas for oblique electroweak radiative corrections are presented.
We point out that interesting signals of the non-strongly interacting sector of the supersymmetric standard model arise from the production of charginos and neutralinos via vector boson fusion (VBF) at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). In particular, if R-parity is violated, the hadronically quiet signals of charginos and neutralinos through direct production get considerably suppressed. We show that in such cases, the VBF channel can be useful in identifying this sector through clean and background-free final states.
As the fundamental SU(2) supersymmetric parameters can be determined in the chargino sector, and the remaining fundamental parameters of the minimal supersymmetric extensions of the standard model can be analyzed in the neutralino sector, the two sectors can be correlated via these parameters. We have shown that for the CP conserving case, the masses of all the neutralinos can be determined in terms of the chargino masses, and $\tanβ$. In this case the neutralino masses are quite insensitive to the variations of $\tanβ$; they change by about $%15$ when $\tanβ$ varies in the range from 5 to 50.…
The light gaugino scenario predicts that the lighter chargino mass is less than m_W, gluino and lightest neutralino masses are <~ 1 GeV, and the dominant decay mode of charginos and non-LSP neutralinos is generically to three jets. The excess "4j" events observed by ALEPH in e+ e- annihilation at 133 GeV may be evidence that m(C_1) = 53 GeV. If so, m(N_2) = 110-121 GeV, m(N_2) = 38-63 GeV, m(N_3) = 75-68 GeV; m(sneu_e) is probably ~m(C_1). A detailed analysis of the multi-jet events is needed to exclude this possibility. Consequences for FNAL and higher energy LEP running are given.
Within the low-energy effective Minimal Supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (effMSSM) we calculate the neutralino relic density taking into account slepton-neutralino, squark-neutralino and neutralino/chargino- neutralino coannihilation channels. By including squark (stop and sbottom) coannihilation channels we extend our comparative study to all allowed coannihilations and obtain the general result that all of them give sizable contributions to the reduction of the neutralino relic density. Due to these coannihilation processes some models (mostly with large neutralino masses) ente…
We point out that vector boson fusion (VBF) at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) can lead to useful signals for charginos and neutralinos in supersymmetric scenarios where these particles are almost invisible. The proposed signals are just two forward jets with missing transverse energy. It is shown that in this way one can put by far the strongest constraint on the parameter space of a theory with anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking (AMSB) at the LHC. In addition, scenarios where the lightest neutralinos and charginos are Higgsino-like can give signals of the above type.
I report on two papers, hep-ph/9806279 and hep-ph/9807336, where complementary strategies are proposed for the determination of the chargino/neutralino sector parameters, $M_1, M_2, μ$ and $\tan β$, from the knowledge of some physical observables. This determination and the occurrence of possible ambiguities are studied as far as possible analytically within the context of the unconstrained MSSM, assuming however no CP-violation.
If the sneutrino mass is below the chargino mass, the dominant decay mode of the lightest chargino is via a two-body decay channel $χ^{\pm}_1 \ra \tildeν + l^{\pm}$. Sneutrinos are invisible in $R$-parity conserving supersymmetric models and, if the mass gap $m(χ^{\pm}_1)-m(\tildeν)$ is sufficiently small, the soft decay lepton may escape detection leading to invisible chargino decays. This ``blind spot'' of the supersymmetry parameter space would jeopardize the chargino search at LEP2. We point out that such a scenario can be tested by searching for single $W$ events in $e^+e^- \ra W^+W^-$, w…
We demonstrate the possibility of studying weakly interacting new particles in weak boson fusion, using the example of supersymmetric same-sign charginos. This signal could establish the existence of Majorana neutralinos and give access to their electroweak couplings. It can be observed over (supersymmetric) QCD backgrounds provided the charginos are light and not too close to the squark mass. We finally show how same-sign fermion production can be distinguished from same-sign scalars or vectors arising in other models of new physics.
We show that LEPII will either discover charginos and neutralinos, or enable a very stringent upper limit to be placed on $\tan β$ as a function of the gluino mass. The only assumption we make is the existence of some unified model which breaks down to the minimal supersymmetric standard model below the unification scale. In such a framework we discuss how the discovery of a chargino at LEPII and the measurement of its mass and production cross-section, together with the measurement of the mass of the lightest neutralino, would enable the gluino mass, $\tan β$ and $μ$ to be predicted, up to a …
We present a consistent procedure for the calculation of the one-loop corrections to the charginos and neutralinos by using their on-shell mass matrices. The on-shell gaugino mass parameters M and M', and the Higgsino mass parameter μare defined by the elements of these on-shell mass matrices. The on-shell mass matrices are different by finite one-loop corrections from the tree-level ones given in terms of the on-shell parameters. When the on-shell M and μare determined by the chargino sector, the neutralino masses receive corrections up to 4%. This must be taken into account in precision meas…
In the scenario recently proposed by Arkani-Hamed and Dimopoulos, the supersymmetric scalar particles are all very heavy, at least of the order of $10^9$ GeV but the gauginos, higgsino, and one of the CP-even neutral Higgs bosons remain light under a TeV. In addition to gluino production, the first SUSY signature would be pair production of neutralinos and/or charginos. Here we study, with explicit CP violation, the production of neutralinos and charginos at hadronic colliders as well as the possible decay modes. We notice that the branching ratio of the neutralino radiative decay can be sizab…
We study the implications of dimension five operators involving Higgs chiral superfields for the masses of neutralinos and charginos in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM). These operators can arise from additional interactions beyond those of MSSM involving new degrees of freedom at or above the TeV scale. In addition to the masses of the neutralinos and charginos, we study the sum rules involving the masses and squared masses of these particles for different gaugino mass patterns in presence of the dimension five operators in the context of MSSM. We derive a relation for the hig…
We consider the production of neutralino, chargino, and charged Higgs boson pairs in the MSSM framework at future $e^+e^-$ colliders. We show that, for c.m. energies in the one TeV range and in a ``moderately'' light SUSY scenario, a combined analysis of the slopes of these production cross sections could lead to a strong consistency test involving the soft supersymmetric breaking parameters $M_1$, $M_2$, the Higgsino parameter $μ$, and $\tanβ$.
We perform a comprehensive analysis of the decays of charginos and neutralinos in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model where the neutralino $χ_1^0$ is assumed to be the lightest supersymmetric particle. We focus, in particular, on the three-body decays of the next-to-lightest neutralino and the lightest chargino into the lightest neutralino and fermion-antifermion pairs and include vector boson, Higgs boson and sfermion exchange diagrams, where in the latter contribution the full mixing in the third generation is included. The radiative corrections to the heavy fermion and SUSY particle m…
We present the complete electroweak one-loop corrections to the partial widths for two-body decays of a chargino (neutralino) into a W-boson and a neutralino (chargino). We perform the calculation for the minimal and the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model using an on-shell renormalization scheme. Particular attention is paid to the question of gauge invariance which is achieved using the so-called pinch technique. Furthermore we show that these corrections show a strong parameter dependence and usually are in the range of 1-10 percent if the neutralino involved is a higgsino or wino…
We calculate the supersymmetric QCD corrections in order $α_s$ to the decays $\squark_i \to q' \chargino_j$ (i,j = 1,2) and $\squark_i \to q \neutralino_k$ (k = 1,...4) within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. In particular we consider the decays of squarks of the third generation, $\stop_i$ and $\sbottom_i$ (i = 1,2), where the left--right mixing must be taken into account. The corrections turn out to be of about 10\%, except for higgsino--like charginos or neutralinos, where they can go up to 40\%.
We discuss the production of charginos, neutralinos, and third generation sfermions in $e^+e^-$ annihilation in the energy range $\sqrt{s} = 0.2-1$ TeV. We present numerical predictions within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model for the cross sections and study the importance of beam polarization for the determination of the underlying SUSY parameters.
The mass spectrum of the chargino--neutralino sector in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) is calculated at the one-loop level, based on the complete set of one-loop diagrams. On-shell renormalization conditions are applied to determine the counterterms for the gaugino-mass-parameters $M_1, M_2$ and the Higgsino-mass parameter $μ$. The input is fixed in terms of three pole masses (two charginos and one neutralino); the other pole masses receive a shift with respect to the tree-level masses, which can amount to several GeV. The detailed evaluation shows that both the fermionic/sfe…
We determine the neutralino and chargino masses in the MSSM at one-loop. We perform a Feynman diagram calculation in the on-shell renormalization scheme, including quark/squark and lepton/slepton loops. We find generically the corrections are of order 6%. For a 20 GeV neutralino the corrections can be larger than 20%. The corrections change the region of $μ,\ M_2,\ \tanβ$ parameter space which is ruled out by LEP data. We demonstrate that, e.g., for a given $μ$ and $\tanβ$ the lower limit on the parameter $M_2$ can shift by 20 GeV.
We have completed the one-loop renormalisation of the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM) allowing for and comparing between different renormalisation schemes. A special attention is paid to on-shell schemes. We study a variety of these schemes based on alternative choices of the physical input parameters. In this paper we present our approach to the renormalisation of the NMSSM and report on our results for the neutralino-chargino and sfermion sectors. We will borrow some results from our study of the Higgs sector whose full discussion is left for a separate publication. We …
We present the contributions from all types of one-loop corrections to the scattering amplitude for the pair production of polarized charginos or neutralinos from polarized electron-positron annihilation. The contributions are classified in terms of ``prototypes'' distinguished by the number of particles inside the loops and their spins. The results are quoted in terms of the Veltman-Passarino functions in terms of general couplings and internal masses. The results can therefore be applied to any supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model or indeed to any polarized fermion pair production …
In the framework of the minimal cosmological standard model, the $Λ$CDM model, the Dark Matter density is now known with an error of a few percent; this error is expected to shrink even further once PLANCK data are analyzed. Matching this precision by theoretical calculations implies that at least leading radiative corrections to the annihilation cross section of the dark matter particles have to be included. Here we compute one kind of large corrections in the context of the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model: corrections associated with two-point function corrections on c…
We consider the production of chargino, neutralino and charged Higgs boson pairs at future linear colliders for c. m. energies in the one TeV range within the MSSM. We compute the leading (double) and next-to leading (linear) supersymmetric logarithmic terms of the so-called "Sudakov expansion" at one-loop level. We show that a combined analysis of the slopes of the chargino, neutralino, and charged Higgs boson pair production cross sections would offer a simple possibility for determining \tanβfor large (\gsim 10) values, and the parameters M_1, M_2, and μ. This test could provide a strong co…
The recent LHC discovery of a Higgs-like boson at 126 GeV has important consequences for SUSY, pushing the spectrum of strong-interacting supersymmetric particles to high energies, very difficult to probe at the LHC. This gives extra motivation to study the direct production of electroweak particles, as charginos and neutralinos, which are presently very poorly constrained. The aim of this work is to improve the analysis of chargino-neutralino pair production at LHC, focusing on the kinematics of the processes. We propose a new method based on the study of the poles of a certain kinematical va…
We study one-loop effects of charginos and neutralinos on the helicity amplitudes for the process $e^+e^-\to W^+W^-$ in the MSSM. The calculation is tested by using two methods. First, the sum rules among form factors which result from BRS invariance. Second, the decoupling property in the large mass limit is used to test the overall normalization of the amplitudes. The one-loop contribution to the helicity amplitudes is shown as a function of $μ$ Higgs parameter and $\sqrt{s}$. We also study the effects of the CP-violating phase.
The scalar top discovery potential has been studied with a full-statistics background simulation at sqrt(s)=500 GeV and L = 500 fb-1 for the TESLA project. The beam polarization is very important to measure the scalar top mixing angle and to determine its mass. The latest estimation of the beam polarization parameters is applied. This study includes e+ polarization, which improves the sensitivity. For a 180 GeV scalar top at minimum production cross section, we obtain delta(m) = 0.8 GeV and delta(cosT) = 0.008 in the neutralino decay channel, and delta(m) = 0.5 GeV and delta(cosT) = 0.004 in t…
We compute analytically the tree-level annihilation rates of a collection of non-relativistic neutralino and chargino two-particle states in the general MSSM, including the previously unknown off-diagonal rates. The results are prerequisites to the calculation of the Sommerfeld enhancement in the MSSM, which will be presented in subsequent work. They can also be used to obtain concise analytic expressions for MSSM dark matter pair annihilation in the present Universe for a large number of exclusive two-particle final states.
The electroweak corrections to the partial widths of the $H^+ \to \tildeχ^+_i \tildeχ_j^0 (i=1,j=1,2)$ decays including one-loop diagrams of the third generation quarks and squarks, are investigated within the Supersymmetric Standard Model. The relative corrections can reach the values about 10%, therefore they should be taken into account for the precise experimental measurement at future colliders.
We present an on-shell renormalization scheme for the neutralino and chargino mass matrices for two R-parity violating models, namely bilinear R-parity violation and the munuSSM with one right-handed neutrino superfield. We discuss in both models how to obtain neutrino masses and mixing angles correctly as well as differences to the existing DRbar calculations. Both models predict correlations between neutrino mixing angles and ratios of R-parity violating decays such as neutralino_1 -> l W which can be tested for example at the LHC. We point out that there are cases where one has to include t…
In the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) the masses of the neutralinos and charginos depend on the gaugino and higgsino mass parameters M, M' and $μ$. If supersymmetry is realized, the extraction of these parameters from future high energy experiments will be crucial to test the underlying theory. We present a consistent method how on-shell parameters can be properly defined at one-loop level and how they can be determined from precision measurements. In addition, we show how a GUT relation for the parameters M and M' can be tested at one-loop level. The numerical analysis is based …
We examine the production and the decay modes of neutralinos and charginos in a softly-broken supersymmetric model with an extra Abelian symmetry U(1)'. We perform the study in a U(1)' model with a secluded sector, where the tension between the electroweak scale and developing a large enough mass for Z' is resolved by incorporating three additional SU(2) singlet fields into the model. Although the chargino sector is the same as in the MSSM, the neutralino sector of the model is very rich: five new fermion fields are added to the neutral sector bring the total neutralino states to nine. We impl…
We study direct production of charginos and neutralinos at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. We simulate all channels of chargino and neutralino production using ISAJET 7.07. The best mode for observing such processes appears to be $pp\to\tw_1\tz_2\to 3\ell +\eslt$. We evaluate signal expectations and background levels, and suggest cuts to optimize the signal. The trilepton mode should be viable provided $m_{\tg}\alt 500-600$~GeV; above this mass, the decay modes $\tz_2\to\tz_1 Z$ and $\tz_2\to H_{\ell}\tz_1$ become dominant, spoiling the signal. In the first case, the leptonic branching fractio…
We apply the covariant derivative expansion method to integrate out the neutralinos and charginos in the minimal supersymmetric Standard Model. The results are presented as set of pure bosonic dimension-6 operators in the Standard Model effective field theory. Nontrivial chirality dependence in fermionic covariant derivative expansion are discussed carefully. The results are checked by computing the $hγγ$ effective coupling and the electroweak oblique parameters using the Standard Model effective field theory with our effective operators and direct loop calculation. In global fitting the propo…
We have investigated charged Higgs boson production via the gluon-bottom quark mode, gb -> tH+, followed by its decay into a chargino and a neutralino. The calculations are based on masses and couplings given by the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) for a specific choice of MSSM parameters. The signature of the signal is characterized by three hard leptons, a substantial missing transverse energy due to the decay of the neutralino and the chargino and three hard jets from the hadronic decay of the top quark. The possibility of detecting the signal over the Standard Model (SM) and no…
We present a high precision calculation of chargino and neutralino pair production at $e^+e^-$ colliders. Within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, the full one-loop and higher order QED corrections are included. Special care has been taken in the definition of the Lagrangian input parameters. Furthermore, the proper inclusion of QED corrections and the separation of weak and QED corrections are discussed. We show numerical results for total cross sections, as well as forward-backward and left-right asymmetries for the SPS1a' scenario as proposed in the SPA project. The complete correc…
We consider recovering analytically the (generally complex) parameters $μ$, $M_1$ and $M_2$ of the gaugino and Higgsino Lagrangian, from appropriate physical input in the chargino and neutralino sectors. For given $\tanβ$, we obtain very simple analytic solutions for $M_2$, $| μ|$, $Arg[μ]$ in the chargino sector and a twofold $| M_1 |$, $Arg[M_1]$ analytic solution in the neutralino sector, assuming two chargino, two neutralino masses, and one of the chargino mixing angles as physical input. The twofold ambiguity in the neutralino parameters reconstruction may be essentially resolved by measu…
In this work, the following reactions have been studied: $e^- e^+ \to H^- \widetildeχ_{1}^+ \widetildeχ_{1}^o$, $e^{-}e^{+}\to h\widetildeχ_{1}^{+}\widetildeχ_{1}^{-}$, $e^{-}e^{+}\to h\widetildeχ_{1}^{o}\widetildeχ_{1}^{o}$, $e^{-}e^{+}\to h H^{+} H^{-}$, where $\widetildeχ_{1}^{\pm}$ is the chargino and $\widetildeχ_{1}^{0}$ is the neutralino. $h$ represent the lightest neutral Higgs boson, and $H_3$ (sometimes refered to as $A$) is the pseudoscalar Higgs boson. The work went to calculate the differential cross section due to each Feynman diagram, then, the total cross section for each react…
This paper is a continuation of an earlier work (arXiv:1210.7928) which computed analytically the tree-level annihilation rates of a collection of non-relativistic neutralino and chargino two-particle states in the general MSSM. Here we extend the results by providing the next-to-next-to-leading order corrections to the rates in the non-relativistic expansion in momenta and mass differences, which include leading P-wave effects, in analytic form. The results are a necessary input for the calculation of the Sommerfeld-enhanced dark matter annihilation rates including short-distance corrections …
