Fundamental Vibrational Transition of CO during the Outburst of EX Lupi in 2008

We report monitoring observations of the T Tauri star EX Lupi during its outburst in 2008 in the CO fundamental band at 4.6-5.0 um. The observations were carried out at the VLT and the Subaru Telescope at six epochs from April to August 2008, covering the plateau of the outburst and the fading phase to a quiescent state. The line flux of CO emission declines with the visual brightness of the star and the continuum flux at 5 um, but composed of two subcomponents that decay with different rates. Radio interferometric imaging of RS Oph bipolar ejecta for the 2021 nova outburst

The recurrent nova and symbiotic binary RS Oph erupted again in August 2021 for its eighth known outburst. As part of a multi-epoch and frequency campaign, we observed RS Oph 34 days after the outburst at 5 GHz with the European VLBI Network (EVN). The radio image is elongated over the east-west direction for a total extension of about 90 mas (or about 240 AU at the Gaia DR3 distance d=2.68 [-0.15/+0.17] kpc), and shows a bright and compact central component coincident with the Gaia astrometric position, and two lobes east and west of it, expanding perpendicular to the orbital plane. Gaia 20eae: A newly discovered episodically accreting young star

The Gaia Alert System issued an alert on 2020 August 28, on Gaia 20eae when its light curve showed a $\sim$4.25 magnitude outburst. We present multi-wavelength photometric and spectroscopic follow-up observations of this source since 2020 August and identify it as the newest member of the FUor/EXor family of sources. We find that the present brightening of Gaia 20eae is not due to the dust clearing event but due to an intrinsic change in the spectral energy distribution. Suzaku Observation of Strong Fluorescent Iron Line Emission from the Young Stellar Object V1647 Ori during Its New X-ray Outburst

The Suzaku X-ray satellite observed the young stellar object V1647 Ori on 2008 October 8 during the new mass accretion outburst reported in August 2008. During the 87 ksec observation with a net exposure of 40 ks, V1647 Ori showed a high level of X-ray emission with a gradual decrease in flux by a factor of 5 and then displayed an abrupt flux increase by an order of magnitude. Such enhanced X-ray variability was also seen in XMM-Newton observations in 2004 and 2005 during the 2003-2005 outburst, but has rarely been observed for other young stellar objects. A Closer Look at the Fluctuations in Brightness of SN 2009ip During Its Late 2012 Eruption

The supernova impostor SN 2009ip has re-brightened several times since its initial discovery in August 2009. During its last outburst in late September 2012 it reached a peak brightness of m$_v$ $\sim$ 13.5 (M$_v$ brighter than -18) causing some to speculate that it had undergone a terminal core-collapse supernova. Relatively high-cadence multi-wavelength photometry of the post-peak decline revealed bumps in brightness infrequently observed in other Type IIn supernovae. A few days before the end of the 2008 extreme outburst of EX Lup : accretion shocks and a smothered stellar corona unveiled by XMM-Newton

In mid-January 2008, EX Lup, the prototype of the small class of eruptive variables called EXors, began an extreme outburst that lasted seven months. We observed EX Lup during about 21 h with XMM-Newton, simultaneously in X-rays and UV, on August 10-11, 2008 -- a few days before the end of its 2008 outburst -- when the optical flux of EX Lup remained about 4 times above its pre-outburst level. Mass outflow from the symbiotic binary RS Oph during its 2021 outburst

RS Oph is a symbiotic recurrent nova containing a massive white dwarf with heavy mass loss during activity. In August 2021, it underwent its seventh optical eruption since the end of the 19th century. The goal of this work is to analyse the structure of the outflows from the outbursting object. Based on broad-band $U$, $B$, $V$, $R_{\rm C}$, and $I_{\rm C}$ photometry and high-resolution H$α$ spectroscopy obtained at days 11--15 of the outburst, we derived some parameters of the system's components and outflows and their changes during our observation. CzeV404 - an eclipsing dwarf nova in the period gap during its July 2014 superoutburst

Results of the CCD observations of CzeV404 Her are displayed. During the season of June-August 2014 we detected one outburst and one superoutburst of the star. Clear superhumps with the period of P_sh=0.10472(2) days were observed. The superhump period was decreasing with a high value of P_dot=-2.43(8) x 10^(-4). For 17 eclipses, we calculated an orbital period with the value of P_orb=0.0980203(6) days which indicates that CzeV404 Her belongs to period gap objects and it is the longest orbital period eclipsing SU UMa star. Suzaku view of Be/X-ray binary pulsar GX 304-1 during Type I X-ray outbursts

We report the timing and spectral properties of Be/X-ray binary pulsar GX 304-1 by using two Suzaku observations during its 2010 August and 2012 January X-ray outbursts. Pulsations at ~275 s were clearly detected in the light curves from both the observations. Pulse profiles were found to be strongly energy-dependent. During 2010 observation, prominent dips seen in soft X-ray ($\leq$10 keV) pulse profiles were found to be absent at higher energies. XMM-Newton and INTEGRAL observations of the very faint X-ray transient IGRJ17285-2922/XTEJ1728-295 during the 2010 outburst

We report the first broad-band (0.5-150 keV) simultaneous X-ray observations of the very faint X-ray transient IGRJ17285-2922/XTEJ1728-295 performed with XMM-Newton and INTEGRAL satellites during its last outburst, started on 2010, August 28. XMM-Newton observed the source on 2010 September 9-10, for 22ks. INTEGRAL observations were part of the publicly available Galactic Bulge program, and overlapped with the times covered by XMM-Newton. The broad-band spectroscopy resulted in a best-fit with an absorbed power law displaying a photon index of 1.61+/-0.01, an absorbing column density of (5.10+…
