We present the new agegraphic dark energy model by introducing the quantum corrections to the entropy-area relation in the setup of loop quantum gravity. Employing this new form of dark energy, we investigate the model of interacting dark energy and derive its equation of state. We study the correspondence between the tachyon, K-essence and dilaton scalar field models with the interacting entropy-corrected new agegraphic dark energy model in the non-flat FRW universe. Moreover, we reconstruct the corresponding scalar potentials which describe the dynamics of the scalar field models.
We study the correspondence between the tachyon, K-essence and dilaton scalar field models with the interacting new agegraphic dark energy model in the non-flat FRW universe. We reconstruct the potentials and the dynamics for these scalar field models, which describe accelerated expansion of the universe.
Motivated by recent work of one of us [1], we generalize this work to agegraphic tachyon models of dark energy with entropy correction terms arising from loop quantum gravity. We establish a connection between the entropy-corrected agegraphic dark energy and the tachyon scalar field in a universe with spacial curvature and reconstruct the potential and the dynamics of the tachyon scalar field which describe the tachyon cosmology. The cosmological implications of the entropy-corrected agegraphic dark energy models are also discussed.
We study the structure formation by investigating the spherical collapse model in the context of new agegraphic dark energy model in flat FRW cosmology. We compute the perturbational quantities $g(a)$, $δ_{c}(z_{c})$, $λ(z_{c})$, $ξ(z_{c})$, $Δ_{vir}(z_{c})$, $\log[νf(ν)]$ and $\log[n(k)]$ for the new agegraphic dark energy model and compare the results with those of EdS and $ΛCDM$ models. We find that there is a dark energy dominated universe at low redshifts and a matter dominated universe at high redshifts in agreement with observations. Also, the size of structures, the overdense spherical…
In the present work we investigated the validity of the generalized second law (GSL) of thermo- dynamics in presence of interaction between DBI-essence and other four candidates of dark energy namely modified Chaplygin gas, hessence, tachyonic field and new agegraphic dark energy. It has been observed that the GSL breaks down in presence of the interactions. However, the event horizon remains to be an increasing function of time.
The present work considers interaction between DBI-essence and other candidates of dark energies like modified Chaplygin gas, hessence, tachyonic field, and new agegraphic dark energy. The potentials of the fields have been reconstructed under interaction and their evolutions have been viewed against cosmic time $t$ and scalar field $ϕ$. Equation of state parameters have also been obtained. The nature of potentials and the equation of state parameters of the dark energies have been found graphically in presence of interaction (both small and large interaction).
We investigate a flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker spacetime filled with k-essence and find the set of functions F which generate three different families of extended tachyon fields and Chaplygin gases. They lead to accelerated and superaccelerated expanding scenarios. For any function F, we find the first integral of the k-field equation when the k-field is driven by an inverse square potential or by a constant one. In the former, we obtain the general solution of the coupled Einstein-k-field equations for a linear function F. This model shares the same kinematics of the background geometry wit…
We investigate a k-essence field localized on the brane evolving linearly with the cosmological time for arbitrary kinetic functions and consider the atypical k-essence model for linear and nonlinear k-fields in Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) cosmology. In the former case the k-field is driven by an inverse quadratic polynomial potential and the solutions exhibit several different behaviors which include expanding, contracting and bouncing universes as well as a model with a finite time span, some of them ending in a big crunch or a big rip. In the latter case we find the potential and show …
We devise a method to obtain a phantom version of FRW k-essence cosmologies with homogeneous k-fields by applying form-invariance transformations. It can be seen that the transformation performs the maps $H\toH$ and $ρ+p\to-(ρ+p)$, which in turn give $γ\toγ$ and $a\to a^{-1}$. The discussion is presented in a general setup, valid for FRW k-essence cosmologies, and then we discuss power-law solutions for illustration purposes. First, we deal with models such that the gradient of the k-field is not constant, which include standard and generalized tachyon cosmologies. We concentrate on the usual …
We consider the prospects for dark matter/energy unification in k-essence type theories. General mappings are established between the k-essence scalar field, the hydrodynamic and braneworld descriptions. We develop an extension of the general relativistic dust model that incorporates the effects of both pressure and the associated acoustic horizon. Applying this to a tachyon model, we show that this inhomogeneous "variable Chaplygin gas" does evolve into a mixed system containing cold dark matter like gravitational condensate in significant quantities. Our methods can be applied to any dark en…
We have studied accretion of the dark matter and dark energy onto of $(n+2)$-dimensional Schwarzschild black hole and Morris-Thorne wormhole. The mass and the rate of change of mass for $(n+2)$-dimensional Schwarzschild black hole and Morris-Thorne wormhole have been found. We have assumed some candidates of dark energy like holographic dark energy, new agegraphic dark energy, quintessence, tachyon, DBI-essence, etc. The black hole mass and the wormhole mass have been calculated in term of redshift when dark matter and above types of dark energies accrete onto them separately. We have shown th…
We derive two field theory models of interacting dark energy, one in which dark energy is associated with the quintessence and another in which it is associated with the tachyon. In both, instead of choosing arbitrarily the potential of scalar fields, these are specified implicitly by imposing that the dark energy fields must behave as the new agegraphic dark energy. The resulting models are compared with the Pantheon supernovae sample, CMB distance information from Planck 2015 data, baryonic acoustic oscillations (BAO) and Hubble parameter data. For comparison, the noninteracting case and the…
By using the formulation of the reconstruction, we explicitly construct models of $k$-essence, which unify the inflation in the early universe and the late accelerating expansion of the present universe by a single scalar field. Due to the higher derivative terms, the solution describing the unification can be stable in the space of solutions, which makes the restriction for the initial condition relaxed. The higher derivative terms also eliminate tachyon. Therefore we can construct a model describing the time development, which cannot be realized by a usual inflaton or quintessence models of …
We investigate the behavior of the scalar field in $f (R, T )$ gravity (Harko et al., Phys. Rev. D 84, 024020, 2011) inside the structure of a flat FRW cosmological model, where $R$ and $T$ have their usual meaning. The deterministic solution of FEs has been settled by considering the scale factor $S(t) = t^{m}e^{kt}$, where $m$ and $k$ are positive constant. Here we utilize three ongoing imperatives ($H_{0}=73.8$ and $ q_{0}=-0.73$) from SNe Ia Union observation (Cunha, Phys. Rev. D 79, 047301, 2009); ($H_{0}=73.8$ and $ q_{0}=-0.55$) from Type Ia Supernova (SNIa) observation in joined with (…
We consider a model of dark energy/matter unification based on a k-essence type of theory similar to tachyon condensate models. Using an extension of the general relativistic spherical model which incorporates the effects of both pressure and the acoustic horizon we show that an initially perturbative k-essence fluid evolves into a mixed system containing cold dark matter like gravitational condensate in significant quantities.
Purpose of the present paper is to view the correspondence between Ricci and other dark energies. We have considered the Ricci dark energy in presence of dark matter in non-interacting situation. Subsequently, we have derived the pressure and energy density for Ricci dark energy. The equation of state parameter has been generated from these pressure and energy density. Next, we have considered the correspondence between Ricci and other dark energy models, namely tachyonic field, DBI-essence and new agegraphic dark energy without any interaction and investigated possible cosmological consequenc…
In this work we establish a correspondence between the tachyon, K-essence and dilaton scalar field models with the interacting entropy-corrected holographic dark (ECHD) model in non-flat FRW universe. The reconstruction of potentials and dynamics of these scalar fields according to the evolutionary behavior of the interacting ECHDE model are be done. It has been shown that the phantom divide can not be crossed in ECHDE tachyon model while it is achieved for ECHDE K-essence and ECHDE dilaton scenarios. At last we calculate the limiting case of interacting ECHDE model, without entropy-correction…

We give the three-dimensional dynamical autonomous systems for most of the popular scalar field dark energy models including (phantom) quintessence, (phantom) tachyon, k-essence and general non-canonical scalar field models, change the dynamical variables from variables $(x, y, λ)$ to observable related variables $(w_ϕ, Ω_ϕ, λ)$, and show the intimate relationships between those scalar fields that the three-dimensional system of k-essence can reduce to (phantom) tachyon, general non-canonical scalar field can reduce to (phantom) quintessence and k-essence can also reduce to (phantom) quintesse…

This paper is devoted to study some holographic dark energy models in the context of Chern-Simon modified gravity by considering FRW universe. We analyze the equation of state parameter using Granda and Oliveros infrared cut-off proposal which describes the accelerated expansion of the universe under the restrictions on the parameter $α$. It is shown that for the accelerated expansion phase $ -1<ω_Λ<-\frac{1}{3}$, the parameter $α$ varies according as $1<α<\frac{3}{2}$. Furthermore, for $0<α<1$, the holographic energy and pressure density illustrates phantom-like theory of the evolution when $…
We show that the most general dark energy model that possesses a scaling solution $ρ_ϕ\propto a^n$ is the k-essence model, which includes both of the quintessence and tachyon models. The exact scaling solutions are then derived. The potential that gives the tracking solution in which dark energy exactly tracks the background matter field is the inverse squared potential. The quintessence field with exponential potential can be obtained from the k-essence field with the inverse squared potential. We also find the fixed points and study their main properties, whereby the scalar field dominant fi…
Introducing a new infrared cut-off for the holographic dark-energy, we study the correspondence between the quintessence, tachyon, K-essence and dilaton energy density with this holographic dark energy density in the flat FRW universe. This correspondence allows to reconstruct the potentials and the dynamics for the scalar fields models, which describe accelerated expansion.
In this work we investigate the polytropic gas dark energy model in the non flat universe. We first calculate the evolution of EoS parameter of the model as well as the cosmological evolution of Hubble parameter in the context of polytropic gas dark energy model. Then we reconstruct the dynamics and the potential of the tachyon and K-essence scalar field models according to the evolutionary behavior of polytropic gas model.
Cosmological scaling solutions are particularly important in solving the coincidence problem of dark energy. We derive the equations of sub-Hubble linear matter perturbations for a general scalar-field Lagrangian--including quintessence, tachyon, dilatonic ghost condensate and k-essence--and solve them analytically for scaling solutions. We find that matter perturbations are always damped if a phantom field is coupled to dark matter and identify the cases in which the gravitational potential is constant. This provides an interesting possibility to place stringent observational constraints on s…
We study the entropy-corrected version of the holographic dark energy (HDE) model in the framework of modified FRW cosmology. We consider a non-flat universe filled with an interacting viscous entropy-corrected HDE (ECHDE) with dark matter. We also include the case of variable gravitational constant G in our model. We obtain the equation of state and the deceleration parameters of the interacting viscous ECHDE. Moreover, we reconstruct the potential and the dynamics of the quintessence, tachyon, K-essence and dilaton scalar field models according to the evolutionary behavior of the interacting…
Motivated by the work of Granda and Oliveros [L.N. Granda, A. Oliveros, Phys. Lett. B {\bf 671}, 199 (2009)], we generalize their work to the non-flat case. We study the correspondence between the quintessence, tachyon, K-essence and dilaton scalar field models with the new holographic dark energy model in the non-flat FRW universe. We reconstruct the potentials and the dynamics for these scalar field models, which describe accelerated expansion of the universe. In the limiting case of a flat universe, i.e. $k = 0$, all results given in [L.N. Granda, A. Oliveros, Phys. Lett. B {\bf 671}, 199 (…
We consider the interacting holographic dark energy with new infrared cutoff (involving Hubble parameter and its derivative) in non-flat universe. In this context, we obtain the equation of state parameter which evolutes the universe from vacuum dark energy region towards quintessence region for particular values of constant parameters. It is found that this model always remains unstable against small perturbations. Further, we establish the correspondence of this model having quintessential behavior with quintessence, tachyon, K-essence and dilaton scalar field models. The dynamics of scalar …
Motivated by the holographic principle, it has been suggested that the dark energy density may be inversely proportional to the area $A$ of the event horizon of the universe. However, such a model would have a causality problem. In this work, we consider the entropy-corrected version of the holographic dark energy model in the non-flat FRW universe and we propose to replace the future event horizon area with the inverse of the Ricci scalar curvature. We obtain the equation of state (EoS) parameter $ω_Λ$, the deceleration parameter $q$ and $Ω_D'$ in the presence of interaction between Dark Ener…
Within the framework of FRW cosmology, we study the QCD modified ghost scalar field models of dark energy in the presence of both interaction and viscosity. For a spatially non-flat FRW universe containing modified ghost dark energy (MGDE) and dark matter, we obtain the equation of state of MGDE, the deceleration parameter as well as a differential equation governing the MGDE density parameter. We also investigate the growth of structure formation for our model in a linear perturbation regime. Furthermore, we reconstruct both the dynamics and potentials of the quintessence, tachyon, K-essence …
In this work, we have considered the flat FRW model of the universe filled with electro-magnetic field. First, the Maxwell's electro-magnetic field in linear form has been discussed and after that the modified Lagrangian in non-linear form for accelerated universe has been considered. The corresponding energy density and pressure for non-linear electro-magnetic field have been calculated. We have found the condition such that the electro-magnetic field generates dark energy. The correspondence between the electro-magnetic field and the other dark energy candidates namely tachyonic field, DBI-e…
The polytropic gas model is investigated as an interacting dark energy scenario. The cosmological implications of the model including the evolution of EoS parameter $w_Λ$, energy density $Ω_Λ$ and deceleration parameter $q$ are investigated. We show that, depending on the parameter of model, the interacting polytropic gas can behave as a quintessence or phantom dark energy. In this model, the phantom divide is crossed from below to up. The evolution of $q$ in the context of polytropic gas dark energy model represents the decelerated phase at the early time and accelerated phase later. The sing…
Our ignorance about the source of cosmic acceleration has stimulated study of a wide range of models and modifications to gravity. Cosmological scaling solutions in any of these theories are privileged because they represent natural backgrounds relevant to dark energy. We study scaling solutions in a generalized background $H^2 \propto ρ_T^n$ in the presence of a scalar field $\vp$ and a barotropic perfect fluid, where $H$ is a Hubble rate and $ρ_T$ is a total energy density. The condition for the existence of scaling solutions restricts the form of Lagrangian to be $p=X^{1/n}g(Xe^{nλ\vp})$, w…
We study the correspondence between models of a self-interacting canonical complex scalar field and P(X)-theories/shift-symmetric k-essence. Both describe the same background cosmological dynamics, provided that the amplitude of the complex scalar is frozen modulo the Hubble drag. We compare perturbations in these two theories on top of a fixed cosmological background. The dispersion relation for the complex scalar has two branches. In the small momentum limit, one of these branches coincides with the dispersion relation of the P(X)-theory. Hence, the low momentum phase velocity agrees with th…
In this work, the PLECHDE model with Granda-Oliveros (G-O) IR-cutoff is studied. The evolution of dark energy density, deceleration and EoS parameters are calculated. I demonstrate that under a condition, our universe can accelerate near the phantom barrier at present time. We calculate these parameters also in PLECHDE at Ricci scale, when when $α=2$ and $β=1$, and at last a comparison between Ricci scale, G-O cutoff and non-corrected HDE without matter field with G-O cutoff is done. The correspondence between this model and some scalar field of dark energy models is established. By this metho…
Motivated by the holographic principle, it has been suggested that the Dark Energy (DE) density can be inversely proportional to the area $A$ of the event horizon of the universe. However, this kind of model would have a casuality problem. In this work, we study the power-law entropy corrected holographic DE (PLECHDE) model in the non-flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker universe, with the future event horizon replaced by the average radius of the Ricci scalar curvature. We derive the equation of state parameter $ω_Λ$, the deceleration parameter $q$ and the evolution of energy density parameter $Ω_…
Disformal transformations have proven to be very useful to devise models of the dark sector. In the present paper we apply such transformation to a single scalar field theory as a way to drive the field into a slow roll phase. The canonical scalar field Lagrangian, when coupled to a disformal metric, turns out to have relations to bimetric dark matter theories and to describe many specific dark energy models at various limits, thus providing a surprisingly simple parametrisation of a wide variety of models including tachyon, Chaplygin gas, K-essence and dilatonic ghost condensate. We investiga…
Motivated by the work of Yang et al., \emph{Mod. Phys. Lett. A}, \textbf{26}, 191 (2011), we report a study on the New Holographic Dark Energy (NHDE) model with energy density given by $ρ_D=\frac{3ϕ^2}{4ω}(μH^2+ν\dot{H})$ in the framework of chameleon Brans-Dicke cosmology. We have studied a correspondence between the quintessence, the DBI-essence and the tachyon scalar field models with the NHDE model in the framework of chameleon Brans-Dicke cosmology. Deriving an expression of the Hubble parameter $H$ and, accordingly, $ρ_D$ in the context of chameleon Brans-Dicke chameleon cosmology, we ha…
