In this paper, we investigate the entanglement dynamics and decoherence in the interacting system of a strongly driven two-level atom and a single mode vacuum field in the presence of dissipation for the cavity field. Starting with an initial product state with the atom in a general pure state and the field in a vacuum state, we show that the final density matrix is supported on ${\mathbb C}^2\otimes{\mathbb C}^2$ space, and therefore, the concurrence can be used as a measure of entanglement between the atom and the field. The influences of the cavity decay on the quantum entanglement of the system are also discussed. We also examine the Bell-CHSH violation between the atom and the field and show that there are entangled states for which the Bell-BCSH inequality is not violated. Using the above system as a quantum channel, we also investigate the quantum teleportation of a generic qubit state and also a two-qubit entangled state, and show that in both cases the atom-field entangled state can be useful to teleport an unknown state with fidelity better than any classical channel.
Based on the recent experiments on the hybrid quantum system of a superconducting microwave cavity coupling strongly to an inhomogeneous broadening spin ensemble under an external driving field, we use the exact master equation approach to investigate its non-Markovian decoherence dynamics. Here the spin ensemble is made by negatively charged nitrogen-vacancy (NV) defects in diamond. Our exact master equation theory for open systems depicts the experimental decoherence results and reveals the mechanism how the decoherence induced by the inhomogeneous broadening is suppressed in the strong-coup…
In this work, we investigate the dynamics of quantum correlations captured by entropic and geometric measures of discord under the influence of dissipative channels for widely used two qubit X state with maximally mixed marginals. Identifying the phenomena of the preservation, sudden change and revival of quantum correlation quantifiers, we determine their hierarchy of robustness under memory-less decoherence channels. We find the analytical expressions of decoherence probabilities at which sudden change occur when the first qubit is subjected to the decoherence channels for multiple times. We…
The dynamic of correlations in a system composed of a two-mode quantum field coupled with the environment is studied. The quantum field corresponds to two entangled coherent states whose amplitude we vary up to the mesoscopic regime. We show that under the onset of decoherence, correlations in the quantum field are not lost but transferred to the environment. We also found that sudden transitions in the decoherence regimes appear along with the dynamics depending on the coherent states' amplitude. Increasing the amplitude of the entangled coherence state results in the apparition of a metastab…
The generation of coherent superposition of distinct physical systems and the construction of robust entangled states under decoherence are the most experimental challenges of quantum technologies. In this work, we investigate the behaviors of catlike states of a deformed harmonic oscillator under dissipative decoherence. Varying the deformation parameters, we obtain catlike states having more resistance against decoherence than catlike states of the ordinary harmonic oscillator. Furthermore, we study nonclassical properties and entanglement of different catlike states subjects to decoherence …

Dynamical symmetry and analytical solutions of the non-autonomous quantum master equation of the dissipative two-level system: decoherence of quantum register
We propose a strategy to modulate the decoherence dynamics of a two-level system, which interacts with a dissipative bosonic environment, by introducing an assisted degree of freedom. It is revealed that the decay rate of the two-level system can be significantly suppressed under suitable steers of the assisted degree of freedom. Our result provides an alternative way to fight against decoherence and realize a controllable dissipative dynamics.
In this work, we investigate quantum Fisher information(QFI) and quantum coherence(QC) of an atom in dissipative cavity. In zero temperature reservior and with one excitation number, we obtain the analytical solutions of QFI and QC as well as their relationship for Ohmic and Lorentzian reservoir, respectively. The results show that both of the atom-cavity coupling and the cavity-reservoir coupling can effectively protect QFI and QC. Especially, QFI and QC will tend to their stable values when the atom-cavity coupling or the cavity-reservoir coupling is larger than a certain value. QC can augme…
