In the U(1)_{B-L} extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model the right-handed sneutrino is a natural candidate for thermal dark matter. Sneutrino annihilation at the present time can be considerably enhanced due to the exchange of the lightest field in the Higgs sector that breaks U(1)_{B-L}. The annihilation mainly produces taus (or muons) by the virtue of B-L charge assignments. A sneutrino mass of 1-2 TeV provides a good fit to the PAMELA and is compatible with the latest results from the FERMI experiment. In addition, the sneutrino-nucleon elastic scattering cross section is within the reach of the upcoming and future direct detection experiments.
The relic abundance of the lightest right-handed sneutrino dark matter in supersymmetric B-L extension of the standard model is revisited. We argue that it can form a bound state through the exchange of light B-L Higgs boson and a large non-perturbative Sommerfeld effect is obtained. We emphasized that with this effect the relic abundance of right-handed sneutrino will lie within the observational limits and the right-handed sneutrino will remain a viable dark matter candidate of mass order up to 1.5 TeV.
In supersymmetric models with Dirac neutrinos, the lightest sneutrino can be an excellent thermal dark matter candidate when the soft sneutrino trilinear parameter is large. We focus on scenarios where the mass of the mixed sneutrino is of the order of GeV and sensitivity of dark matter direct detection is weak. We investigate phenomenological constraints on the model parameter space including the vacuum stability bound. We show that the allowed regions can be explored by measuring Higgs boson properties at future collider experiments.
The prevalent Dark Matter (DM) candidate of the (B-L) Supersymmetric Standard Model (BLSSM) is the Right Handed (RH) sneutrino. In this work we assess the ability of ground and space based experiments to establish the nature of this particle, through indirect and collider detection.
The $(B-L)$ Supersymmetric Standard Model (BLSSM) motivates several Dark Matter (DM) candidates beyond the Minimally Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). We assess the comparative naturalness of the two models and discuss the potential detection properties of a particular candidate, the Right-Handed (RH) sneutrino.
We consider the production of right-handed (RH) sneutrino dark matter in a model of Dirac neutrino where neutrino Yukawa coupling constants are very small. Dark matter RH sneutrinos are produced by scatterings and decays of thermal particles in the early Universe without reaching thermal equilibrium due to the small Yukawa couplings. We show that not only decays of thermal particles but also the thermal scatterings can be a dominant source as well as non-thermal production in a scenario with light sneutrinos and charged sleptons while other supersymmetric particles are heavy. We also discuss t…
We consider MSSM with right-chiral neutrino superfields with Majorana masses, where the lightest right-handed sneutrino dominated scalars constitutes non-thermal dark matter (DM). The $Δ\,L=2$ masses are subject to severe constraints coming from freeze-in relic density of such DM candidates as well as from sterile neutrino $\textit{freeze-in}$. In addition, big-bang Nucleosynthesis and $\textit{freeze-out}$ of the next-to-lightest superparticle shrink the viable parameter space of such a scenario. We examine various $Δ\,L=2$ mass terms for families other than that $Δ\,L=2$ masses are difficult…
We have explored a minimal supersymmetric standard model scenario extended by one pair of gauge singlets per generation. In the model light neutrino masses and their mixings are generated via inverse seesaw mechanism. In such a scenario, a right-handed sneutrino can be the lightest supersymmetric particle and a cold Dark Matter (DM) candidate. If Casas-Ibarra parametrisation is imposed on the Dirac neutrino Yukawa coupling matrix ($Y_ν$) to fit the neutrino oscillation data, the resulting $Y_ν$ is highly constrained from the lepton flavor violating (LFV) decay constraints. The smallness of $Y_…
We study the Standard Model singlet ("right-handed") sneutrino $\tilde ν_R$ dark matter in a class of $U(1)'$ extensions of the MSSM that originate from the breaking of the $E_6$ gauge group. These models, which are referred to as UMSSM, contain three right--handed neutrino superfields plus an extra gauge boson $Z'$ and an additional SM singlet Higgs with mass $\simeq M_{Z'}$, together with their superpartners. In the UMSSM the right sneutrino is charged under the extra $U(1)'$ gauge symmetry; it can therefore annihilate via gauge interactions. In particular, for $M_{\tilde ν_R} \simeq M_{Z'}/…

In this paper we investigate the $(g-2)_μ$ discrepancy in the context of the R-parity conserving next-to-minimal supersymmetric Standard Model plus right-handed neutrinos superfields. The model has the ability to reproduce neutrino physics data and includes the interesting possibility to have the right-handed sneutrino as the lightest supersymmetric particle and a viable dark matter candidate. Since right-handed sneutrinos are singlets, no new contributions for $δa_μ$ with respect to the MSSM and NMSSM are present. However, the possibility to have the right-handed sneutrino as the lightest sup…
