A Generalization of the Greene-Kleitman Duality Theorem

In this paper, we describe and prove a generalization of both the classical Greene-Kleitman duality theorem for posets and the local version proved recently by Lewis-Lyu-Pylyavskyy-Sen in studying discrete solitons, using an approach more closely linked to the approach of the classical case.

Generalizations of the Yao-Yao partition theorem and the central transversal theorem

We generalize the Yao-Yao partition theorem by showing that for any smooth measure in $R^d$ there exist equipartitions using $(t+1)2^{d-1}$ convex regions such that every hyperplane misses the interior of at least $t$ regions. In addition, we present tight bounds on the smallest number of hyperplanes whose union contains the boundary of an equipartition of a measure into $n$ regions. New binary self-dual codes via a generalization of the four circulant construction

In this work, we generalize the four circulant construction for self-dual codes. By applying the constructions over the alphabets F_2, F_2 + uF_2, F_4+uF_4, we were able to obtain extremal binary self-dual codes of lengths 40, 64 including new extremal binary self-dual codes of length 68. More precisely, 43 new extremal binary self-dual codes of length 68, with rare new parameters have been constructed.

Vertex distinction with subgraph centrality: a proof of Estrada's conjecture and some generalizations

Centrality measures are used in network science to identify the most important vertices for transmission of information and dynamics on a graph. One of these measures, introduced by Estrada and collaborators, is the $β$-subgraph centrality, which is based on the exponential of the matrix $βA$, where $A$ is the adjacency matrix of the graph and $β$ is a real parameter ("inverse temperature").
